"Wind Release: Vacuum Wave"
Danzo reacted with lightning speed. Just as the lightning-infused blade was about to strike him, he unleashed a Wind Release ninjutsu, spewing a sharp stream of air from his mouth straight at Uchiha Sasuke.
The air currents clashed with the Kusanagi sword, producing a crisp metallic clang. Sasuke's originally deadly strike was deflected, and he was forced to stumble back several steps, landing in the center of the five Kage.
"Who goes there!"
The guards of the village leaders from Sunagakure, Kirigakure, and others reacted instantly, appearing in front of them to stand guard. Strangely, the mysterious figure behind Danzo remained motionless.
"Wind Release..."
With the aim of forming an alliance with Konoha and eliminating the invaders, Temari, injured, opened her Three-Star Fan and prepared to attack. However, before she could unleash her Wind Release technique, she was stopped by Granny Chiyo.
Staring intently at Sasuke's violent and wicked face, Chiyo shook her head solemnly and said softly, "This is a matter for Konoha. For the sake of the village's survival, you can't act so impulsively!"
Neither of the allied Sand Village nor the other ninja villages made a move, and the others showed little desire to act on behalf of Konoha. Onoki floated in the air, staring intently at Sasuke, his expression one of disgust as if he saw something filthy on his face.
Seeing that no one was making a move, Mizukage Mei Terumi simply took Ao and retreated to the side to watch the show, though she was also prepared to act at any moment.
She muttered to herself, "What a handsome little brother, what a pity!"
When the Cloud Ninja discovered that the intruder was Sasuke, Daimoto was originally prepared to take action, but when he saw that Sasuke's target was Danzo, he immediately became too lazy to make a move and simply silently blocked the door.
"The evil Uchiha!"
Danzo had originally gotten up to leave, but with this unexpected turn of events, the meeting could not proceed for the time being, and it was inconvenient for him to directly reveal much of his strength.
Unfortunately, Darui intentionally or unintentionally blocked his way, so he could only confront Sasuke.
"You evil Uchiha brat, you stormed the Five Kage Summit! You are utterly wicked!"
"I'm here specifically to kill you! It was you and other high-ranking officials in Konoha who gave the order for Itachi to massacre the entire Uchiha clan!"
When Uchiha Sasuke asked the question, the sword in his hand was trembling, as if he was ready to strike at any moment.
"Damn it, did Itachi Uchiha say everything before he died?!"
With the enemy already at their doorstep, denying it was pointless. Besides, most of those present were seasoned veterans who already had their own suspicions about the Uchiha clan's affairs. Therefore, Danzo, in his anger, practically admitted it outright.
Then Danzo turned his eyes to the group of people watching the spectacle, "Are you really going to let him disrespect the Five Kage Summit?"
"Their target is you. This can be considered an internal matter of Konoha Village, so please, as the Hokage, make the first move."
Darui stopped Killer Bee, signaling him not to make a move, and then looked at Sasuke and asked, "You are also a member of the Uchiha clan, so what is your relationship with the Snow Village?"
And when you attacked Killer Bee last time, were you working for Akatsuki or for Yukigami Village?!
"Snow Village?"
Sasuke was stunned by Darui's words. He vaguely remembered hearing the name "Snow Village" a few times when he was with Orochimaru, but he didn't have any other concept of it.
Before his death, Itachi Uchiha didn't dare tell Sasuke about Hyuga Kaze. Having witnessed Hyuga Kaze's strength many times, he only hoped that Sasuke could survive in the ninja world. Therefore, Sasuke was completely unaware of the relationship between Yukigami Village and the Uchiha clan.
"What Snow Village? I've barely even heard of that obscure little ninja village. I wouldn't stoop to knowing them. Don't associate the great Uchiha clan with that kind of village!"
After arrogantly beating up Darui, Sasuke was about to make his move on Danzo.
"Don't get in my way, my target is Shimura Danzo."
As soon as Sasuke uttered those words, everyone in the room looked at him strangely, as if he were an ignorant idiot. Those looks, filled with suspicion and pity, nearly drove Sasuke mad. He suppressed his displeasure and prepared to continue his attack.
Just then, Xiangling's exclamation and the sounds of battle came from outside the door.
"Sasuke, Danzo is trying to escape!"
"Walk"
Almost the instant the sound came, Danzo suddenly retreated, backing up to the wall along with the mysterious figure behind him. Then, the mysterious figure crackled with lightning and slammed his fist into the wall, creating a large hole in the thick wall.
The powerful punch that shattered the wall created a cloud of dust that dissipated after a few seconds. By then, Danzo and the mysterious bodyguard had vanished together.
"This guy doesn't even deserve to be called Shadow?"
Danzo's actions prompted a collective outcry from the crowd, while Darui and Killer Bee remained serious.
Killer Bee roared in fury, "That chakra flow, that fist—there's no mistake, that's Lightning Release: Chakra Mode, it's the Third Raikage!"
"Danzo, you're not getting away!"
Sasuke's expression changed drastically upon discovering Danzo's disappearance. He immediately grabbed his sword and was about to give chase, but was stopped by Mei Terumi's Lava Release technique.
"Judging from what you just said, you've joined the Akatsuki organization? I won't let you leave so easily because you've been manipulating and playing with the Fourth Mizukage's hatred for so many years."
Mei Terumi's actions seemed to have flipped a switch, as Granny Chiyo, Temari, Onoki, and Kyoto also stepped in to stop Sasuke.
