Chapter 94 Illusion Training

With a clear mind and a stronger grasp of Baguazhang, Hyuga Kaze returned to Konoha with great pride and arrogance.

However, thinking of Kurenai and Anko, and the awkward incident last night, Hyuga Kaze's momentum suddenly dropped a bit.

After much hesitation, Hinata Kaze decided to go to Kurenai's house; some things had to be faced eventually.

Previously, he and Hongdou had a rather ambiguous relationship, and they both had some feelings for each other, which was within the bounds of reason.

Last night, his relationship with Kurenai was discovered by Anko. Hinata Kaze doesn't want the two sisters to have a conflict because of this, or for some melodramatic scene to unfold.

Now he takes a natural approach to his relationship with Hongdou, which means he no longer needs to hide or conceal it.

In this situation, if Anko can accept it and a scene like "You've arrived just in time" unfolds, Hinata Kaze would certainly be very happy.

If he can't be taught to accept it, Hinata Kaze won't force him.

He teleported to Kurenai's house, deliberately making some noise to alert her. As soon as Hinata Kaze went upstairs, he saw Kurenai and her friend, who were smiling broadly, holding hands as they came out of their room, looking extremely close.

"Red, Red Bean, you..."

Hinata Kaze stood there dumbfounded, not yet figuring out how to start the conversation.

At this moment, Hongdou's face turned red, and she unconsciously tightened her grip on Xi Ri Hong's hand, causing the veins on the back of her hand to bulge, which made Hongdou frown.

Anko glanced at Hinata Kaze, then quickly turned her head away. Her eyes darted around, and her first words were the quintessential tsundere.

"Hmph, you ran off all night and didn't come back. Anyone who didn't know better would think we kicked you out. We don't have any missions today. Hong and I are just about to go out for dinner. Let me treat you."

Anko glanced at Hinata Kaze again, and the tips of her ears turned red.

"Don't overthink it. I interrupted your good time with Hong last night, so you missed out on a big meal. Consider it my apology."

Hearing this, Hinata Kaze was speechless. What do you mean by "eat less big meals"? Who on earth is thinking such nonsense?

Hong dared not look Hinata Kaze in the eye, and looked at her friend with a shy and angry expression, saying, "What kind of wild words are these!"

"Start eating! Don't just watch me eat!"

Inside the barbecue restaurant, Anko was shouting and beckoning Hyuga Kaze and Kurenai to help, while she herself was eating like crazy, looking like she hadn't eaten for days. Kurenai and Hyuga Kaze really wanted to leave her there alone.

On the surface, there was nothing unusual about Anko, and Hyuga Kaze didn't want to use his Mind Mirror ability to cheat, so he could only look at Yuhi Kurenai with questioning eyes.

Kurenai, usually a forthright person, was as shy as a young bride today, keeping her head down and remaining silent. Unable to bear Hinata Kaze's gaze any longer, she finally looked up and glared at him, then lowered her head again, her eyes darting away.

Hinata Kaze saw relief, shyness, and dissuasion in Kurenai's eyes, and understood her meaning: for the time being, they should pretend nothing had happened and leave everything as it was.

Hinata Kaze breathed a sigh of relief at this outcome. To be honest, he had some feelings for Anko and didn't want to cultivate their relationship through deception any further.

Therefore, he decided to wait until he resolved the issue with the Hyuga main family and had a clear discussion with the Konoha leadership before confronting Anko. If she was willing then, Hyuga Kaze would naturally want to take things further.

Temporarily setting aside their complicated thoughts, Hinata Kaze and Kurenai, at Anko's urging, also picked up their chopsticks and began to enjoy the grilled meat.

After a delicious meal, the three found themselves in an awkward situation in front of the barbecue restaurant.

Finally, Hongdou broke the silence first, "Alright, I've replenished your energy, you can continue with what you haven't finished."

Don't worry, I'm going to bed early tonight and won't bother you.

Hongdou was so engrossed in talking that she scratched her toes, but she ignored him and instantly disappeared.

With Anko gone, Kurenai, unable to vent her frustration, could only stomp her feet, glare reproachfully at Hinata Kaze, and then turn to leave as well.

In this situation, Hyuga wouldn't let go. He grabbed Kurenai and rushed home with her. Kurenai struggled a few times but couldn't pull her hand away. She could only let Hyuga lead her home, but her head remained lowered the whole way.

As soon as she returned to her bedroom, Hong tried to break free from Hyuga Kaze's grasp again, but was pinned against the wall by Hyuga Kaze.

What are you going to do?

Hong's voice contained a hint of fear, confusion, and anticipation.

Seeing Kurenai's adorable reaction, Hinata Kaze leaned forward again, his lips brushing against Kurenai's ear as he breathed on her. He then whispered, "Last night I stood alone in the cold wind until dawn before I came back. Shouldn't you make it up to me?"

Hearing Hinata Kaze say that, Kurenai's head almost collapsed from being squeezed so hard, and she asked in a trembling voice, "What kind of compensation do you want?"

Hinata Kaze's movements and voice were both gentle, "I'll make it up to you by having you practice your illusion techniques properly."

Upon hearing this, Kurenai looked up in surprise, wanting to speak but was silenced, only able to let out a muffled groan.

After a long while, Hinata Kaze released his grip, looked at the panting Kurenai, a strange smile on his lips, and led Kurenai into the room. "Okay, good girl, tonight we'll try out the use of illusion magic in different scenarios."

......

Two hours later, her forehead was covered in a fine sweat, she was weak and listless, and her face was full of confusion and melancholy.

Having regained some strength, Hong angrily bit down on Hyuga Kaze's shoulder, but it was like biting into steel, having no effect whatsoever.

"Waaaaah, you're bullying me! You're getting more and more of a jerk! What kind of illusion training is this?!"

"It really is illusion training. Haven't your illusion skills and my illusion resistance both increased?"
