It was nearly midnight, and the moon was waning and faint.
Outside the Hyuga clan's territory, dim moonlight filtered through sparse branches and leaves, casting dappled shadows. A cold wind blew through the forest, causing the leaves to rustle and make eerie sounds.
In a secluded spot where the trees were dense and the view was obscured, Hyuga Kaze led a dozen or so members of the Wings of Light, their expressions cold and solemn as they looked out of the clan's territory.
"After the Uchiha clan was wiped out, they kept monitoring the Hyuga clan. What a family they are!"
The branch family Jonin, Hyuga Shun, spoke up indignantly.

"Clan Chief!" Hanabi's personal maid, Hyuga Natsu, heard the noise, quickly straightened her clothes, and ran over to Hiashi, bowing respectfully.
