Chapter 278 A Complete Transformation

After finishing their meal, it was already dawn. Guo Qi and the others ate to their hearts' content, their bellies bulging, and they went home with satisfied burps.

Since they couldn't sleep anyway, the three siblings started their morning exercise.

Running, leg stretches, long jump, high jump, push-ups, sit-ups, planks, ...

Some of the Indians had seen it before, and some they hadn't, but they still looked at it as if it were their first time. The Indians were very curious about every sport and didn't understand why they were doing these things.

Ah San doesn't like Xiao Hao, but he always likes to get close to Xiao Hao. He does whatever Xiao Hao does and tries to outdo Xiao Hao in everything.

Some things you can't beat, but once you've done it a few times, you'll quickly be able to outdo Xiao Hao.

Whenever Ah San wins, Zuo Ling would clap and cheer, sometimes patting Ah San's head like a child.

At first, Ah San was very tense, but once he got used to it, he would voluntarily stretch his head in front of Zuo Ling and let her touch him.

Xiao Hao got angry and angrily threw the basketball at A-San, yelling, "You jerk, you jerk, I hate you so much!"

The Indian man was not one to suffer a loss, and the two of them got into a fight.

Ah San has a better jumping ability than Xiao Hao, is stronger than Xiao Hao, is more agile than Xiao Hao, and is more ruthless than Xiao Hao.

The only thing Xiao Hao could surpass A San in was his combat skills honed through rigorous training.

At first, Xiao Hao was able to fight A-San to a standstill with his combat skills, but once A-San became familiar with Xiao Hao's various routines and could apply them in other ways, Xiao Hao's decline became more and more obvious.

Thump! Xiao Hao was kicked away by A-San for the fifth time and couldn't get up for a long time.

Ah San let out an excited shout, then skipped and jumped to Zuo Ling's side, lowered his head, and let Zuo Ling pat his head.

Zuo Ling pinched his cheek, and Ah San was stunned, his face turning red to the roots of his ears.

"So cute!" Zuo Ling laughed heartily.

Xiao Hao angrily tugged at his brother's clothes, pouting and accusing his sister of favoritism.

Pei Nansheng not only didn't offer any comfort, but also said with a stern face:

"Who told you you couldn't beat an Indian? All those years of teaching you were for nothing. You think you're so great just because you beat the brothers and uncles from the planting company? Now you know, there are always people better than you, and there's always something beyond your understanding."

Xiao Hao felt wronged, very wronged, so wronged that tears welled up in his eyes.

Pei Nansheng showed no mercy and scolded, "What's wrong with crying? Train hard and try to beat him."

After thinking for a moment, he added, "He was beaten until his teeth were knocked out."

He also disliked Ah San, who only had eyes for Zuo Ling and ignored them. He didn't know why the two of them got along so well.

Zuo Ling liked A-San very much; she looked at him like she was looking at her younger brother.

The treatment of Ah San was different from that of Xiao Hao. Xiao Hao was brought by Pei Nansheng, while she was passively accepted.

Over the years, it's not that there's no affection left, but it's mostly out of blood ties and family bonds.

Zuo Ling genuinely liked Ah San, and Ah San was very clingy to her, which pleased her greatly.

Ah San's wariness was not completely eliminated. He kept testing the waters and getting closer little by little until he was sure that Zuo Ling's family posed no threat to him. He then frequently appeared at Zuo Ling's house, always arriving around mealtimes, eating, wiping his mouth, and leaving.

He never came empty-handed; sometimes he brought wild fruit, and sometimes a few pheasants or rabbits.

Zuo Ling didn't lack those things, but Ah San was thoughtful, which pleased her. Every time Ah San came, he would add two or three dishes.

Once, Ah San saw Zuo Ling eating crab, blinking his eyes, not understanding why a woman would like to eat such a thing.

It was tiny, all shell, and you couldn't get any meat out even after digging for ages, but the woman ate it with great relish.

A day later, Ah San got four crabs the size of washbasins from somewhere and immediately started comparing their sizes.

It means, eat this! It's big, meaty, and delicious!

Zuo Ling had never seen such a big crab before. Before the apocalypse, a crab this big would have sold for tens of thousands of yuan.

When asked where he got it, he gestured for a long time but couldn't explain clearly. He patted his chest and said, "If you like it, I'll get you another one."

Ah San didn't know how to use chopsticks, so Zuo Ling patiently taught him. If it didn't work the first time, she taught him the second time; if it didn't work the second time, she taught him the third time... She was as patient and meticulous as if she were teaching a child.

Ah San spends all his time in the mountains and forests, and his clothes are never clean, so Zuo Ling found him several sets of clothes that were suitable for him to wear.

Every time she came, Zuo Ling would make Ah San dress cleanly.

The first time Ah San was asked to change his clothes, he thought the woman was going to take his clothes back, and Ah San's eyes turned red with grievance.

After gesturing for a while, the Indian guy was still confused. He didn't even eat, and stormed off in a huff, not coming back for several days.

It wasn't until I saw the clean clothes that I realized what had happened.

From then on, every time he came, he would take off his clothes first, acting like a big shot, and have Zuo Ling wash his clothes.

Knowing that Indians have no sense of shame, Zuo Ling didn't hold it against them, but Xiao Hao was furious.

"Have you no shame? You're a boy, you can't take your clothes off in front of your sister."

Ah San didn't understand and thought Xiao Hao wanted to fight him. He looked at him with disdain, thinking, "You're a defeated opponent, how dare you fight me?"

Enraged, Xiao Hao disregarded the fact that Ah San was still naked and, despite the risk of getting injured, was determined to beat him up.

If he is neither dead nor crippled, Zuo Ling will pretend not to see it and let them make a fuss.

As he spent more time with Zuo Ling's family, Ah San's wildness gradually subsided. The only thing he couldn't change was his posture; he always walked, sat, and lay hunched over, as if he were always in a state of attack or defense.

Zuo Ling instructed Pei Nansheng to train Ah San, determined to make Ah San resemble a human being, rather than a half-human, half-beast.

Pei Nansheng sighed, "You really treat Ah San like a younger brother."

He couldn't understand how a wild child raised by wolves could have caught Zuo Ling's eye.

After only a short while of training, Ah San couldn't take it anymore. Pei Nansheng didn't tolerate him and threatened to beat him until he learned.

Ah San was not about to be wronged, and the two started fighting back and forth.

Xiao Hao cheered from the sidelines: "Brother, beat him up, beat him up! Good, that was a good punch!"
