An ordinary yacht was moored a little far from the main group. Occasionally, someone would pass by and faintly hear howls that sounded like animals.
Pedestrians stopped to listen carefully, but could hear nothing. They shook their heads with a smile, thinking it must be the wind. The wind is strong at sea, and all sorts of strange noises can be heard.
Lin Wang and Li Mingli were locked in a storage room in the lower deck. They were still wearing their pajamas and barefoot. Their injuries on their heads and faces had healed, but they looked even more haggard than the day before.
Li Mingli clung to the window on the door, straining to look in one direction. Lin Wang sat on the ground, clutching his head. Every scream that came from the distant room made the two of them shudder.
The clanging of the torture instruments and the clear sounds of beatings stimulated Lin Wang and Li Mingli's nerves, filling them with both fear and terror.
Li Mingli pouted, on the verge of tears, and said:
"They've been beating Old Bai for a long time. Old Bai's delicate body can't take it. They'll beat him to death."
Lin Wang was so upset that he pulled his hair out. Lao Bai did it all for them. Otherwise, why would he have suffered like this? He should have dragged that old bastard Mei Yanqing down with him!
After a brief pause, he suddenly made up his mind, rushed to the door, and began pounding on the doors and windows.
"Open the door, open the door! I know where Uncle Bai is! I know where Uncle Bai is! Come on, ask me! Come on, ask me..."
Li Mingli paused for a moment, then realized what he meant and shouted, "I know where Uncle Bai is too! Ask me, ask me, ask me..."
Lin Wang shoved him and roared in a rough voice, "Get out of my way, what business is it of yours with a blind man?"
Tears streamed down Li Mingli's face, whether from feeling wronged or from Lin Wang calling him blind, it was hard to tell.
She forcefully tore at Lin Wang, saying, "You're the one who's blind! I can see where you are. You're the only one who knows where Uncle Bai is, but I can't?"
Lin Wang wouldn't let him have his way, and the two of them tore at each other, until they were locked in a fierce fight.
Bang, bang, bang! Someone was banging on the door with a stick. The two men were fighting fiercely and didn't bother to look in the direction of the door.
A soft chuckle rang out, and the door opened.
*Slap slap slap slap*, several slaps rang out. "Hey, you two brothers, what's going on here?"
Lin Wang and Li Mingli stopped. "He Guiqi?"
He Guiqi grinned and said, "You still know people. Not bad. It's not that you're confused."
Lin Wang pushed Li Mingli aside, dusted himself off, straightened his clothes, and asked him, "What are you doing here?"
He Guiqi paced back and forth twice, looking around the room while fanning his nose with his hand, answering questions that were not directly relevant to his answers:
"My two brothers, you've never lived in such a terrible place in your lives, have you?"
Lin Wang's face darkened: "I'm asking you, what are you doing here?"
He Guiqi shook his head repeatedly, "Tsk, tsk, tsk, you're already a prisoner, and you're still acting like a young master to me. Are you still dreaming?"
Although Li Mingli couldn't see clearly, he could make out the general outline. He grabbed He Guiqi by the collar and roared:
"You've sided with that bastard Mei?"
He Guiqi forcefully pried Li Mingli's hand away, "Let go, let go, let go now, or I'll get rough with you."
Lin Wang pulled Li Mingli away: "The Ning family has sided with the Mei family?"
He Guiqi straightened his collar, which Li Mingli had wrinkled, and said irritably, "How should I know?"
The base suddenly underwent a major change, and he only learned the general outline afterward. There were many different opinions and rumors circulating, and he was still in a daze.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the person he kept calling "Brother Bai" in the interrogation room.
What brings you here?
He Guiqi suddenly laughed, "Coming to see you in your misfortune, hahaha... It's not so easy to see the fun of the famous Three Young Masters of Beijing. With this, you'll have plenty of fun for the rest of your life, hahaha..."
Back in Kyoto, all He Guiqi saw was his older brother fawning over Bai Hongwei and his two brothers.
Grandpa often told my brother to get along well with Bai Hongwei. Back then, the He family spent a lot of money on Bai, Lin, and Li.
Even He Guiqi, who didn't care about his family, felt the pain of spending that money.
Although he eventually learned that his family was actually placed by the Ning family to be near the Bai family, his childhood memories were too vivid, and the unapproachable status of the Bai, Lin, and Li families was deeply imprinted in his bones.
Seeing the three of them in trouble now, the resentment in my heart has dissipated considerably.
What pleased him most was that he was finally able to speak to his three older brothers as equals.
Hmm, no, no, no, he can lower his head and talk to them now!
Seeing He Guiqi's smug look, Li Mingli was furious and suddenly threw a punch, hitting him right in the eye socket.
"Oh my god..."
Lin Wang had nowhere to vent his anger, and when he saw Li Mingli make a move, he rushed over as well, and the three of them started fighting.
He Guiqi was no match for Lin Wang and Li Mingli, and was beaten so badly he cried out in pain.
Several soldiers on duty rushed in, pulling and hitting the three of them, separating Lin Wang and Li Mingli. Lin Wang and Li Mingli each took several blows.
Lin Wang wiped the blood from his mouth, spotted the door wide open, and rushed out, shouting as he went:
"Old Bai, I'm here. I've come to keep you company..."
Li Mingli's eyesight was poor, but his hearing was much better than before. Following the sound, he rushed outside with Lin Wang.
"Old Bai, I'm here too, I've come to keep you company..."
The two brothers fought desperately, catching the soldiers off guard and unable to stop them, allowing them to break through.
Lin Wang had already spotted the interrogation room, so he rushed inside and was immediately stunned by what he saw.
Bai Hongwei hung on the wooden frame like a broken doll, his clothes stained with blood so that they were unrecognizable, his eyes were swollen and so badly swollen that only a slit could be seen, one leg was twisted abnormally, and blood was dripping from the other foot.
