Mu Yanxuan looked at Ji Yueyao with a light laugh, finding her domineering demeanor quite amusing.
Zhong Jue seemed not to have reacted yet. He only felt a sharp pain in his cheeks and gums. He tried to get up from the ground, spitting out a mouthful of blood, along with his teeth.
Everyone was stunned by what they saw. Xu Lingnan and Xu Yajun stared at Ji Yueyao in shock, unable to believe that she was so strong!
Xu Lingnan knew that Ji Yueyao's strength in the past was at most one level higher than theirs because of her hard work, but now her power was not that of an ordinary person!

Ji Yueyao raised her eyebrows high, a cold smile playing on her lips. She waited until Zhong Jue had said most of what he wanted to say before interrupting him... Yu Zhenlong is indeed a very annoying guy.
Sure enough, the people around started whispering. It was Xiyu Base that trained Ji Yueyao, but she went to Nanxiao Base to become the second seat. She was disloyal and ungrateful, and she abandoned righteousness for personal gain.

"I'm fine." Ji Yueyao shook her head and walked forward to Yao Lin's side without caring. She bent down and untied the ropes binding him.
Yao Lin didn't say a word from beginning to end. He stared blankly at the ground as if he were in a daze, without even raising his head.
"Ji Yueyao, what are you doing? Stop her right now!" Zhong Jue shouted incoherently at the people around him, covering his face. Xu Lingnan had been stunned ever since he saw Ji Yueyao knock Zhong Jue away. Now, upon hearing Zhong Jue's voice, he merely turned his head slightly, his eyes filled with confusion as he looked at Ji Yueyao.
He initially chose to betray Ji Yueyao because she was too weak, believing that only in this way could he and Ya Jun have a better life... But now, he has doubts: was everything he did really worth it?
The crowd exchanged bewildered glances, watching Ji Yueyao pull Yao Lin up, but no one dared to step forward. Were they kidding? Someone who could send the head of the search department flying with a single slap… who among them, ordinary people, dared to mess with?
Seeing that no one stepped forward, Zhong Jue became even angrier, looking so agitated that he seemed ready to take matters into his own hands. "All of you, get up here! Xu Lingnan, what are you daydreaming about!"
Yu Zhenlong frowned, secretly getting a little impatient. If it weren't for getting rid of these eyesores, he really wouldn't have bothered playing the fool here.

The hoarse, ghostly voice of Zhong Jue forced Xu Lingnan to turn around. Xu Lingnan looked at the scene before him and a faint bitter smile appeared on his lips, but his eyes were filled with a cool light. How could he forget that he was now on Zhong Jue's side? No matter how powerful Ji Yueyao was, it had nothing to do with him now.
Regardless of right or wrong, there's no turning back now, and he can't turn back.
From the moment he made his choice, there was no turning back.
Xu Lingnan swiftly stepped forward and slashed downwards with one hand, his teeth clenched fiercely. A bolt of lightning appeared out of thin air and struck straight at Ji Yueyao.
Mu Yanxuan's eyes darkened, and he rushed to Ji Yueyao's side in a flash, embracing her and preparing to use his superpower. However, the lightning disappeared less than an inch away from them, and then Xu Lingnan's scream rang in their ears.
