Chapter 2 Woman, You're Playing with Fire

Chapter 2 Woman, You're Playing with Fire

The main subject of the shoot arrived late.

A tall, long-legged man, dressed in a black suit, slowly walked over.

Long legs are longer than life, slender and straight.

The black suit jacket is well-tailored, outlining a perfect figure, with a cinched waist that accentuates broad shoulders and a narrow waist.

He only buttoned one button on his shirt, and wore nothing underneath, revealing his beautiful muscles and drawing the attention of everyone present.

Above that, the face was even more stunningly beautiful, as if it were the darling of the Creator.

With deep-set eyes and strong features, a smooth jawline and lips of moderate thickness, the person is portrayed with a touch of softness.

Song Shiwei admitted that even in the real world, having seen so many handsome men in the entertainment industry, none could compare to one ten-thousandth of the man in front of her.

It really is a world of two-dimensional characters; they're so handsome it's almost unreal.

She's absolutely gorgeous!

"Mr. Chi, everything is ready. May we begin filming?"

"Um."

The man was reluctant to speak, his voice was deep and pleasant, and then he sat on the sofa in the shooting location, leaning back lazily and posing with a magazine in his hand.

Following instructions, Song Shiwei held the swaying wine glass and immersed herself in her own world.

After shooting for a while, the brown-haired, curly-haired foreign photographer frowned as he checked the results and spoke in broken Mandarin.

"No, it's always just not quite there, lacking a bit of sexual tension."

They filmed several more times, but were still not satisfied, and a group of people gathered around to discuss it.

Song Shiwei's patience ran out; she was really tired wearing 15-centimeter high heels.

"What kind of technology is this? It can't even be filmed properly, it's exhausting!"

She frowned, walked over to the photographer, pushed aside the others, looked at the unusable shots in the lens, and let out a sneer.

The others looked at her behavior with confusion.

That's it?

She looked at the photographer with an arrogant gaze, as if it were nothing, and said, "Let me show you how to take this picture!"

"What do you know, you little model!" the woman from before snapped at her.

Song Shiwei pointed at her with her slender finger, her eyes haughty, "My time is precious, I don't want to waste it on you here."

The woman was taken aback, but the photographer very kindly agreed.

When filming resumed, Song Shiwei suddenly walked up to the man, coldly splashed the red wine in her hand onto him.

The bright red liquid slid down the man's bare chest, leaving behind a tingling, amorous ripple before disappearing into the unknown.

The man raised an eyebrow slightly and looked up at the woman in front of him.

A collective gasp filled the air, and the scene instantly fell silent.

The photographer excitedly raised his camera, exclaiming, "Great, excellent, that's the feeling! Fantastic!"

Then Song Shiwei bent down slightly, grabbed the man's loose tie, slowly wrapped it around her hand, tightened it slightly, and pulled the man in front of her.

At the same time, she raised her foot, her stiletto heel pressing against the man's chest, the black straps wrapping around her fair and slender feet, exuding a wild and sexy vibe.

The man curled one corner of his mouth, his deep eyes fixed on Song Shiwei, as if they were an ancient, mysterious pool, attracting the ignorant to devour them.

"Perfect! Absolutely perfect! It's like a work of God!"

The photographer was extremely excited, as if he had seen his muse.

"Okay, all done. Everyone, take a break. Mr. Chi, this shoot was a great success. Who is this girl? She's a genius!"

The people around them looked cautious and didn't dare to breathe, nervously watching the man in the middle who was taking the picture.

"So-so, third in the world."

Song Shiwei spoke nonchalantly, casually retracting her foot, inwardly rolling her eyes.

What genius? This is just the best work from the fashion shows of the past two years!

It did indeed trend on social media for several days, and the main character became an overnight sensation as a result.

Suddenly her wrist was grabbed. Song Shiwei looked down and saw the male lead looking at her with a hint of amusement in his eyes. "Playing with fire?"

"Yay—"

Song Shiwei couldn't help but shiver. What kind of outdated domineering CEO quotes were these?

She patted the man on the shoulder and earnestly advised, "Don't read too many melodramatic novels. You have a pretty face, so please don't say anything greasy."

After saying that, Song Shiwei twisted the man's hand away, "Oh, right, remember to transfer 500,000 to my card."

Chi Yanzhou narrowed his eyes slightly, watching the woman's departing figure, lost in thought.

"Oh my god, Sister Vivi, you were so cool just now!"

Tao Xiaotian jumped around like an excited mother monkey, "But how dare you!"

"What's there to be afraid of?"

"That's the nation's husband, the pillar of our Shengtian, the famous movie star—Chi Yanzhou!"

“..........”

Song Shiwei paused in her steps.

Chi Yanzhou, isn't that the male protagonist of this Mary Sue novel?

Then she—

That was well done!

So what if he's the main character!

She is the leading lady of her own life!

After filming, Tao Xiaotian immediately took Song Shiwei to President Li's office, mentally preparing an explanation for why they were late.

To my surprise, Mr. Li wasn't even in his office.

"He said he was on the 25th floor, but we didn't see him just now. So he's not in the office right now either. What a rascal, slacking off!"

Song Shiwei slumped on the sofa, looking completely resolute.

Tao Xiaotian sat up straight. "President Li should be back soon."

Song Shiwei was almost asleep when finally there was some noise outside the door.

"Yanzhou, are you tired from filming? How's your decision on that variety show coming along?" President Li's fawning voice drifted in.

"We'll see," came another voice, sounding less enthusiastic.

Then, the office door opened, and Chi Yanzhou and Song Shiwei looked at each other, staring at each other in bewilderment, while President Li's fawning smile still lingered on his face.

Who are you?

Mr. Li immediately put on a stern face, frowned, and asked the two people in the office.

"You called me here, and you're asking me who I am? Are you senile?" Song Shiwei retorted, arms crossed.

There's nothing I can do; I get angry just seeing capitalists these days.

Tao Xiaotian was so frightened that she covered Song Shiwei's mouth tightly and explained before President Li could explode.

"Mr. Li, I'm sorry, this is Sister Weiwei, Song Shiwei. I'm her assistant, Tao Xiaotian. You called us here because you said there's a variety show to film."

Mr. Li suddenly realized, but he still wasn't in a good mood. "You all wait here!"

"Wait for what? You called us here, and you're late yourself. We've been waiting for so long, and we still have to wait? Wait for what? For you to give birth?!"

Song Shiwei unleashed a barrage of attacks, and Tao Xiaotian didn't even have time to shut her up.

Mr. Li was completely dumbfounded, never expecting to have such a eloquent artist under his command.

Chi Yanzhou, standing to the side, chuckled softly and asked President Li, "She's also participating in that variety show?"

Mr. Li was taken aback, but after realizing what he meant, he nodded and offered a fawning explanation.

"Yes, yes, there always need to be some minor characters to provide contrast, and some negative personas too. These are all things that need to be done by them. Don't worry, you just need to be yourself."

Chi Yanzhou chuckled softly, his tone playful, "I understand."

Without saying anything else, he turned and left.

After Chi Yanzhou left, President Li straightened his wrinkled suit, sat back in his office chair with a serious expression, and put on airs.

"So you're Song Shiwei. You've been with our company for two years, but you haven't made any progress!"

"Yes, so shouldn't the company reflect on this? I'm so pretty, yet I haven't become famous. Is the company's business performance inadequate?"

Song Shiwei leaned back on the sofa, looking more like the boss than President Li.

Mr. Li was taken aback by the question, then coughed twice as if to make an excuse, saying, "Always reflect on yourself!"

"I'm really sorry, but my life principle is to make things less difficult for myself and to criticize others more."

"you!"

Mr. Li licked his lips, picked up the contract in front of him, and tossed it forward.

"If you still want to get ahead, you'd better listen to me. The company is being kind to you and has given you a great variety show, the highly anticipated 'Together Towards Happiness,' which starts filming next week. Take a good look at it and don't embarrass the company!"

Song Shiwei didn't care at all, picked up the contract and walked out.

"Leave it to me, you don't need to worry!"

Variety shows were just a stepping stone for her to earn 50 million.
