Chapter 6 Aren't you childish?

Chapter 6 Aren't you childish?

Knowing they were in the wrong, Xia Zhiqing and Xu Xiyao had no choice but to cultivate the remaining land.

The other four people returned to the Happy Courtyard to rest.

After dinner, the four bored people decided to play some games. Chi Yanzhou's eyes flickered, and he gently curled his lips.

"Shall we play a water splashing game?"

"Great!" Bai Yining was the most enthusiastic supporter.

The four hit it off immediately, with Chi Yanzhou and Cheng Yi forming one group, and Song Shiwei and Bai Yining forming another.

Two teams compete, one person is responsible for the competition and the other is responsible for the punishment. The winner splashes water on the loser, and the loser can use a lid to quickly block it.

In the first round, Song Shiwei and Cheng Yi sat in the punishment position, while Bai Yining and Chi Yanzhou faced off. The two were evenly matched, and Song Shiwei and Cheng Yi's reaction speeds were also similar.

In the second round, the positions were reversed, and Song Shiwei and Cheng Yi competed against each other.

For some reason, Song Shiwei had particularly bad luck tonight and kept losing. Unfortunately, Bai Yining, the little puppy, couldn't keep up with Chi Yanzhou, the old dog.

Song Shiwei was splashed again and again, while Chi Yanzhou gradually became more and more adept at it.

"I'm sorry, Sister Weiwei, how about we switch?" Bai Yining felt particularly guilty.

"It's okay, it's just a game, don't take it to heart," Song Shiwei comforted him.

"Yeah, Yining, it's just a game, don't take it seriously."

Chi Yanzhou looked at the "drenched chicken" Song Shiwei with a smile and a teasing look in his eyes.

In the following rounds, Song Shiwei almost never won, and Bai Yining almost never managed to stop her.

Song Shiwei felt water being poured over her head, cup after cup, as if a torrential downpour was falling on her head, even more intense than the day Yiping asked her father for money.

I have a feeling these two have a grudge against each other.

[Do you remember their conversation during the day? Song Shiwei splashed water on our Brother Zhou...]

I think I understand now.

The entertainment industry is truly chaotic.

Finally, Cheng Yi couldn't stand it anymore and hesitantly said, "It's getting late, why don't we rest?"

"Sigh, I haven't had enough fun yet." Chi Yanzhou rested his chin on his hand, pretending to regret it, but his eyes were barely able to hide his smile.

Song Shiwei was covered in sweat, and couldn't help but shiver.

"You haven't had enough fun yet. The water on my body is enough to irrigate an acre of rice seedlings!"

"You wait, I'm having bad luck today, let's meet up another time!"

It was past 9 p.m., and the live stream had come to an end.

The live broadcast of "Together Towards Happiness" takes place every weekend from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, even more punctual than workdays.

As Song Shiwei walked up to the third floor, she was wiping her face with a towel when suddenly an idea struck her. She stared wide-eyed at the tall, straight back in front of her.

"You're not here today to get revenge for what I did the other day, are you?!"

Chi Yanzhou paused, then continued walking. When he reached the third floor, he turned around and looked at Song Shiwei with an elegant and warm smile, but to Song Shiwei, he looked like a smiling tiger.

"You found out, now we're even."

“..........”

"Dude, are you crazy?! You didn't participate in this show just to get revenge on me, did you?"

Chi Yanzhou feigned surprise, "You guessed that?"

Song Shiwei pinched her philtrum to try and save herself, "Big brother, are you sick in the head???"

How come she didn't notice how crazy Chi Yanzhou was when she was reading the script?

Petty! Childish!

Is there nothing else in his world to do?

Song Shiwei was so angry with Chi Yanzhou that she couldn't sleep all night, and that one sentence kept replaying in her mind—

Does Chi Yanzhou have that serious illness?

At nine o'clock the next day, Song Shimu was woken up by the loudspeaker in the Happy Courtyard. The loudspeaker was playing "You Look So Good When You Smile," and Song Shimu wanted to cry.

The five people downstairs are already up.

Xia Zhiqing was dressed in comfortable and relaxed casual clothes, looking refreshed. It seemed that farming last night wasn't tiring enough.

Good morning, everyone.

Xu Xiyao walked over wearing tight-fitting workout clothes, her skin was radiant, but her face looked a little pale than usual.

"Good morning, Sister Xiyao, Sister Zhiqing, you two are so beautiful even without makeup!" Bai Yining said sweetly.

"I didn't even have time to get ready this morning," Xia Zhiqing said shyly, brushing a stray hair behind her ear with a gentle smile.

"Little brother Yi Ning is so good with words!" Xu Xiyao said with a smile, pinching Bai Yi Ning's cheek.

Wow, is this a goddess? She looks so beautiful even without makeup!

[My wife is making a fool of herself, honey, come home with me!]

"Your younger brother looks so young! He's wearing makeup all over his face. That's his bare face; he even has eye boogers on his face!"

Chi Yanzhou came over with a coffee cup and pointed with his chin at Song Shiwei, who had just come downstairs and was still yawning.

"Stop talking nonsense! I cleaned it thoroughly before taking it off."

Song Shiwei was wearing a gray casual sportswear outfit, with a green frog headband on her head. Her fair and delicate skin was flawless, and her thick eyelashes looked like she was wearing eye makeup. Her lips were light pink, giving her a healthy appearance.

Xia Zhiqing pursed her lips somewhat awkwardly, secretly glancing at Song Shiwei.

Where did this newcomer come from? Why is Brother Yanzhou always talking to her?

Xia Zhiqing has never been outshone by anyone since she was a child. She was pampered like a little princess by her family. So, a princess should live in the spotlight, and everyone's attention should be drawn to the princess!

"Brother Yanzhou, shall I make sandwiches for everyone's breakfast?" Xia Zhiqing asked expectantly.

"Do whatever you want, you don't need my permission."

Chi Yanzhou stared at the magazines on the dining table, not sparing the other person a single glance.

Xu Xiyao secretly sized up the two of them, then put her arm around the slightly sad Xia Zhiqing and walked towards the kitchen. "Then I'll fry a heart-shaped egg for everyone."

"I'll help you out."

"I'll heat up the milk."

Looking at the enthusiastic group, Song Shiwei plopped down next to Chi Yanzhou and said, "Then I'll taste it for everyone to see if it's salty enough."

"You certainly know how to find work."

Chi Yanzhou smiled and raised his eyebrows. He had worn a pair of gold-rimmed glasses early in the morning, which added a touch of asceticism to his appearance.

"You're someone who does nothing, you have no right to talk to me."

"I provided all the appliances in this house."

"Then you're awesome."

“........”

On an exquisite and expensive German-made white porcelain plate lies a leaf of vegetable, topped with half a tomato, a piece of luncheon meat about two fingers thick, a fried egg with runny yolk still clinging to its shell, and a smear of salad dressing shaped like poop.

The five people remained silent to varying degrees, staring at the sandwiches in front of them, pondering what reason they could give to refuse.

Xia Zhiqing shyly tucked her hair behind her ear, her cheeks slightly flushed. "This is my first time trying..."

Bai Yining: "Hehehe, that's pretty good."

Cheng Yi and Barbie Hsu silently picked up the sandwiches, closed their eyes, and took a bite. Mmm—it was the most original taste of food.

Song Shiwei frowned. "I know you really want to try, but don't try it yet."

Xia Zhiqing: "I'm so sorry, I..."

Chi Yanzhou: "You actually know how to be embarrassed?!"

Was it because you didn't want the tomatoes and luncheon meat to suffer, so you only cut them once?

Are you trying to get us to take calcium supplements? You didn't even throw away the eggshells?

"So you want us to poop out, did you just squeeze a lump of poop on it?"

Xia Zhiqing felt wronged by what Chi Yanzhou said, and her face turned pale as she pouted.

Bai Yining: "Brother Yanzhou, stop talking, I can't eat anymore..."
