In the afternoon, Jiang Qingwu wrote back a letter to Jiang's father and mother, and then wrote an article, which he would send out together at the post office when the time came.
"Wife, are you sending something to your parents this time?"
Jiang Qingwu thought about it and realized that he had sent food and meat several times before, so he would not send it this time. He had just told his parents about this in the letter. He could just let them take it away when they drove over from Beijing.
"No, sending things too frequently will arouse suspicion. I've sent a lot recently. My parents can't finish them all, and my grandparents probably haven't finished them either."
Zhou Yunzhou was sitting next to Jiang Qingwu while she was writing a letter. When she finished, he came over to her and she couldn't push him away no matter how hard she tried.
"Wife, good wife, let's go to bed. I'm sleepy," Zhou Yunzhou said, resting his head on Jiang Qingwu's arm.
Jiang Qingwu touched his face and exposed his little thoughts, "I don't think you are sleepy, you just want to bother me again."
"Wife, our son fell asleep after drinking milk and hasn't fed me yet." This man doesn't even know how to write the word shame.
"Then I'll go get you a cup of yogurt. Why don't you drink it and go to sleep?" Jiang Qingwu deliberately misunderstood his meaning just to tease him.
"No, no, feed me, wife, I want to eat," he carried Jiang Qingwu out of the study and threw her on the bed in the bedroom, then leaned over and pressed her down.
"Wait, wait, let me tell you something. If you continue to play like you did last night, I'll ignore you. So if you want to eat, just enjoy it."
He couldn't wait to start. Jiang Qingwu was very uncomfortable because of him last night, but he deliberately refused to satisfy Jiang Qingwu and insisted that Jiang Qingwu make him feel satisfied first before he would obey.
The two of them stayed together for a while and then took a nap. They didn't come out of the space until mid-afternoon when they were going to take their son up the mountain.
What they didn't know was that someone who was expected to come to the village had arrived, but Jiang Qingwu just didn't expect them to come so soon.
The two of them walked up the mountain together and met some villagers who were collecting firewood and digging wild vegetables. Although the villagers had distributed food, they had to eat it sparingly. Most of the time they still had to eat wild vegetable soup and wild vegetable cakes.
Jiang Qingwu said a few words to them and then parted ways with them. How could these people not understand that they went up the mountain to fill their stomachs, while the couple went up the mountain to take a walk.
"Husband, do you think the flower on our son's ear is pretty?"
Jiang Qingwu put a small hat on her son and pinned two flowers on it, making him look like a little girl.
"So beautiful, just like you." In Zhou Yunzhou's eyes, his wife is perfect, with no flaws in her.
"Our son looks like you and me, and he only picks out the best parts of us," Jiang Qingwu tapped Little Sun's face, and Little Sun stretched out his hands to ask his mother to hold him.
Jiang Qingwu took him in, and Zhou Yunzhou started collecting firewood. Although there was very little firewood used in the yard, the two of them still went up the mountain to collect firewood every few days in order to store firewood for the winter.
However, Jiang Qingwu had already discussed this with Zhou Yunzhou. She planned to buy firewood in the village. Villagers often carried firewood to the town to sell. If they bought it themselves, they would save effort. It should be easy to buy firewood in the village.
"Hubby, we don't need to pick up too much. We still have to go home and study. Even though you learn very quickly, you can't be proud and complacent."
Jiang Qingwu felt that this man was really smart. She originally thought that Zhou Yunzhou, who had just graduated from junior high school, would not be able to understand high school books. Unexpectedly, when Jiang Qingwu was doing the questions yesterday afternoon, Zhou Yunzhou solved them faster than her.
Jiang Qingwu was very surprised at the time. After asking Zhou Yunzhou, she learned that Zhou Yunzhou had taught himself high school knowledge after graduating from junior high school. The book was lent to him by the youngest son of the team leader.
"I understand, wife. Let's go downstairs," Zhou Yunzhou responded obediently.
As they walked down the mountain, they were still chatting, "How's Aunt Zhang's popsicle making going?"
Zhou Yunzhou replied, "It's pretty good. The villagers barter. Some people have small pieces of cloth, some have coarse grains, and other things. When there are enough, Aunt Zhang can just take them to the black market and sell them."
"Well, actually, small businesses are very profitable. If it weren't for the restrictions of the times, where people would report us at every turn, rural people wouldn't be so poor."
The two chatted all the way, and when they were almost at the foot of the mountain, they met Yang Haochen. The little guy looked much better than the last time they saw him.
"Sister, Brother Yunzhou," Yang Haochen remembered his grandfather's words. Grandpa said that in this village, only sister and brother Yunzhou could be trusted.
"Well, what are you doing up the mountain?"
"I'm going to collect firewood and chop grass for the pigs. I work faster now and will finish soon," Yang Haochen said with a smile.
Jiang Qingwu touched his head and said, "Haochen is really amazing. If you have nothing to do after work today, come to my sister's house. I need your help with something."
"Okay, sister, can I go when it's almost dark? Grandpa said that I can't let others know that I know you, otherwise it will implicate you."
Jiang Qingwu knew what Yang Haochen was worried about, so she agreed with him.
When Jiang Qingwu and Zhou Yunzhou were in the mountains, Jiang Qingwu caught a pheasant. She planned to go home and make chicken soup. She called Yang Haochen to her house to ask him to take away some food and daily necessities.
The last time Jiang Qingwu went to the cowshed, he discovered that there were actually many things missing in Grandpa Yang's house. He wondered how hard it must have been for such a delicate person like Grandma Lu.
"Hubby, when we get home, you take care of our son first. I'll get some things for Grandpa Yang and the others for Haochen to take away tonight. Grandpa Yang is a very important confidant to my grandfather, and I don't want him to never have the chance to see his old friend again."
"Okay, I'll take the small path to take Haochen back tonight. It's okay if you take some extra things. I'll take them to him outside the cowshed."
