In the following days, the village became lively because of the issue of teacher quotas for the village primary school, and the educated youth all showed off their talents.
Some educated youth even tried to please Aunt Song Lan. After all, she was the team leader's wife, and if they pleased her, she could also help them persuade them.
But Aunt Song Lan was a stubborn person. She never interfered with Zhou Yongfu's work, so she flatly rejected those educated youths whose intentions were clearly shown on their faces.
Liu Kang and Ruan Pingcheng also tried their best to compete. After all, if they went to school to teach, they would not have to work anymore and would have much more free time.
Ruan Pingcheng secretly found Li Xiaomei again, wanting Li Xiaomei to help him talk to Li Changbing and ask Li Changbing to recommend him to the team leader to be a teacher.
Li Xiaomei was also stupid. She was so happy after being coaxed by Ruan Pingcheng's few words that she foolishly believed that Ruan Pingcheng would divorce Zhou Lianhua when he returned to the city and take her away.
Even if everyone in Li Changbing's family put their brains together, they probably still couldn't come up with a complete answer.
"Xiaomei, I will definitely marry you. Last time, I was schemed against by that shameless woman Zhou Lianhua. I had no choice but to marry her. In my heart, you are the one I love the most."
Li Xiaomei snuggled shyly in Ruan Pingcheng's arms. She never believed that Ruan Pingcheng didn't like her. She thought every day that it was he who showed his affection to her first, and she was prettier and better than Zhou Lianhua, so he must love her in his heart.
Because of this idea, Ruan Pingcheng confirmed her guess with just a few words, and she agreed to Ruan Pingcheng without hesitation that she would ask her father for help.
When Li Xiaomei returned home to make a fuss with Li Changbing, her mother couldn't bear to see her daughter sad, so she forced Li Changbing to go out and find the team leader and tell him that the spot had to be decided today.
Li Changbing was also very upset. He had just promised Liu Xiaohua to give the quota to Liu Kang. As for what kind of exchange they made, naturally only he, Liu Kang and Liu Xiaohua knew it.
Liu Kang was really bold. In order to become a teacher in the village primary school, he even gave up his wife. He even stood guard at the door for them.
For Li Changbing, this was a good thing for him, and he would definitely not refuse. After Jiang Zhaodi died, Li Changbing was completely relieved. No one knew about him and Jiang Zhaodi, and he was not afraid that Jiang Zhaodi would bite him back one day.
After being quiet for a few days, he started looking for a new target. Unexpectedly, Liu Kang took the initiative to find him and proposed a deal. Liu Xiaohua was also willing to do it. There was no loss for him, so why would he refuse?
Unexpectedly, before he could talk to the team leader, his troublesome daughter started making trouble again and even agreed to help Ruan Pingcheng enter the village primary school without his permission.
Oh, what should I do?
That day, the team leader and Aunt Song Lan suddenly came to Zhou Yunzhou's house. Zhou Yunzhou hurriedly poured them tea and asked them to sit down and chat.
"Yunzhou's wife, all the educated youth are signing up to become teachers. There are only two or three spots left. Why haven't you signed up yet?"
The captain waited and waited but Jiang Qingwu didn't come to sign up. He couldn't bear it anymore, so he dragged his wife over to ask in person.
"It's like this, Captain. My son is not even a year old yet and needs someone to look after him at all times. I also have to write articles to earn money. Yunzhou has to work sometimes, and there's no one at home to look after the child, so I won't fight for this job."
Not only Zhou Yongfu, but even Aunt Song Lan felt it was a pity. In this village, only Yunzhou's wife could make money by writing articles. Who else in this village could be as educated as her? It was a pity that she was unwilling to do it.
"Yunzhou's wife, you should still think about it. After all, this job is not bad," Zhou Yongfu continued to persuade.
But no matter how he persuaded her, Jiang Qingwu refused. She said that rather than earning work points and wages, she would rather take care of the child, and the child would slowly learn to walk, and would fall if not taken care of properly.
"Well, that's a shame. Well, it's better if you don't get involved. You don't know what a commotion the village has been in. The accountant recommended two educated youth to me at once. If I really wanted to follow his advice, I might as well not have said anything about it in the first place and just let it be decided internally."
Zhou Yongfu got angry when he talked about this. He was already annoyed by the educated youth who came to his house. Li Changbing also came to him these days and insisted on recommending Liu Kang and Ruan Pingcheng.
To be honest, Zhou Yongfu was unwilling to let them go. How could a person with bad character be a teacher? Wouldn't that be a waste of time for the children?
Jiang Qingwu and Zhou Yunzhou exchanged glances upon hearing Zhou Yongfu's words. It was understandable that Li Changbing had recommended Ruan Pingcheng, simply because of Li Xiaomei, but what connection could there be between him and Liu Kang? Could it be that they had both slept with Jiang Zhaodi?
The two of them were confused. It seemed that Zhuzi had to keep a closer eye on them. The relationships in this village were really complicated.
"I think you should go to the commune leaders and ask them to send someone to prepare an exam. Everyone will be treated equally, and whoever scores well will be the teacher."
After hearing Jiang Qingwu's words, Zhou Yongfu suddenly realized and immediately went out to the commune. Aunt Song Lan couldn't catch up with him even after chasing him.
When they were alone, Zhou Yunzhou asked Jiang Qingwu, "Wife, how could Li Changbing and Liu Kang be in cahoots with each other? They don't have any connection at all."
Jiang Qingwu couldn't figure out why. It couldn't be that Li Changbing simply admired Liu Kang's talent. What talent could he have? He was just a fool.
"You'll find out slowly. Whatever they do, it's none of our business. Come and read the book."
"I'll be right there. I'll go get you and your son some milk powder."
I didn't expect Zhou Yongfu to be so efficient. The next day, he notified all the registered people that the teacher would be selected through an exam. Whoever had the best grades would be selected. This is more fair and just.
