Old Lady Zhou was furious. She quickly walked out and pinched Zhou Lianhua's arm. "You money-loser, you bitch! You dare to steal my money and spend it on a gigolo? I'll beat you to death."
Old Lady Zhou beat Zhou Lianhua until she was almost dead. She fell to the ground and couldn't get up. Old Lady Zhou threw the stick on the ground and said, "Bah, you loser! How dare you steal my money? I'll sell you to pay off my debt tomorrow. Big brother, second brother, throw this little bitch into the woodshed and starve her for two days. Don't give her a single drop of water."
Zhou Lao Da and Zhou Lao Er threw Zhou Lianhua into the woodshed and locked the door. Zhou Lianhua struggled to get up from the ground but couldn't, and no one in the family came to save her.
"The eldest and second daughter-in-law, go cook," Old Lady Zhou called out to her two daughters-in-law to hurry up and cook. Liu Zhaodi and Sun Erni were still cursing in the kitchen. When Liu Zhaodi saw Zhang Cuihua washing her own children's clothes in the yard, she wanted to be lazy and asked Zhang Cuihua to help with cooking. If three people cooked, there would be less work to do.
