Chapter 25 Seeing the Dragon

The Queen Mother watched from the dark and felt a little distressed. She came out and asked the nanny to go back first. She couldn't help but ask, "If Fu'er doesn't like to learn the rules, then why don't you just not learn them?"

Eunuch Li and the others were shocked when they heard the Queen Mother's words. The Queen Mother was a person who paid the most attention to rules, yet she actually said such words!

Although Wei Fu didn't like this, she shook her head and said, "Master said that without rules, there will be no order. If Fu'er stays in the Taoist temple and doesn't go home, it's okay to be a wild girl, but if you go home, you still have to learn the rules."

"Fuer wants to discuss with grandma whether he can just learn one a day. With so many days a year, Fuer should be able to learn them all in a few years."

"The main reason is that Fuer is young now and his hands and feet are not coordinated. He will definitely not be like this when he grows up."

Noble ladies from aristocratic families have to work hard to learn the rules, otherwise there would not be special nannies to govern them. And among all the rules, the rules in the palace are the most numerous.

The Queen Mother always said that Wei Fu was the one who could disobey the rules, but now it was Wei Fu who was allowed to do whatever he wanted, and there was no reason for him not to comply.

Seeing that the Queen Mother was so easy to talk to, Wei Fu said happily, "Thank you, Grandma. You are so kind. Fu'er likes you the most."

The Queen Mother was flattered by her little granddaughter's sweet words.

Wei Fu used to play for a while after dinner before going to bed, but today he was drowsy during dinner. The Queen Mother thought he was just too tired.

After Wei Fu had eaten her fill, she asked Tingyu to carry her downstairs to rest. Before going to sleep, Wei Fu tried to keep her eyelids open and said to Tingyu, "Sister Tingyu, please be sure to call me when it's midnight!"

"Yes." When Tingyu replied, she saw Wei Fu fell into a deep sleep.

She carefully covered Wei Fu with the quilt, blew out the light in the inner room, lit the light in the outer room and did her embroidery, waiting for time.

The dragon coiled in the house crawled silently towards Wei Fu. A drunk on the street accidentally looked in the direction of the palace and saw a golden dragon hovering above it. He was so frightened that the wine jar in his hand fell to the ground, but when he looked again, the golden dragon disappeared, as if it was an illusion.

Tingyu, who was originally very energetic, fell asleep on the table outside, and the room was extremely quiet.

Long Yin transformed into a human form, but because his cultivation had not yet fully recovered, he was just a phantom. He stretched out his hand and placed it on Wei Fu's brow, wanting to see what was happening with Wei Fu's body, but a wisp of his consciousness was bounced out as soon as he reached out, causing his body to shake.

He frowned: There's something wrong with this little human kid!

Why does a human cub have restrictions in its body?

It was already strange that Wei Fu's blood could help him recover his cultivation, and now there is a restriction, which is even stranger.

If this happened in a small world of cultivating immortals, this kind of thing wouldn't be surprising, but it's obviously not the case in this world.

Long Yin thought about it for a while but couldn't figure it out, so he simply gave up and lifted the nightmare spell, letting Tingyu wake up. He then returned to his original state and sat curled up at the head of Wei Fu's bed.

Tingyu, who had fallen asleep somehow, woke up in a daze. He suddenly remembered his mission and immediately looked at the clepsydra outside. He was relieved to see that he had not missed the time.

She took a sip of ice-cold tea to refresh herself.

Because Wei Fu wanted to save the little ghost, the emperor, empress, queen mother and prince all thought it was a big deal. Except for the empress, they all asked the people around them to wake them up when the time came so that they could come and take a look.

The Queen wanted to come, but she had been running around all day and her body really couldn't bear the effort.

When the time came, the emperor, the prince and the empress dowager came to Wei Fu. When the time came, Wei Fu was woken up by Tingyu. She rubbed her eyes, yawned, and got up lazily.

He opened his eyes slightly, took out the bamboo bowl from the bag hanging beside the bed, and dug out the talisman that came out of the little ghost's body.

He walked out of the door with half-closed eyes and drowsy steps, threw the talisman into the air, waved his hand and said, "Let's go!" The talisman shattered with a bang like a piece of glass, and the fragments disappeared into the air.

Wei Fu turned around and went back, accurately touched the bed, covered himself with a small quilt and continued to sleep soundly. He never opened his eyes fully from beginning to end, so he didn't see the group of people outside at all.

The Emperor, the Crown Prince, and the Queen Mother looked at each other in bewilderment. The usually composed Crown Prince couldn't help but ask, "So simple?"

After having this little sister, the prince immediately asked someone to find books on the subject to make up for it. He wanted to understand more about the knowledge so that he would not have nothing to say to the little sister. Although he didn't know much now, he still knew that it was difficult to drive away the little ghost that he had raised for more than ten years.

The Queen Mother said, "Perhaps it's not simple, but our Fu'er is very powerful?"

The emperor said proudly: "It must be our Fu'er who is so powerful."

Tingyu asked softly, "Should I go and call the little princess out?"

The Queen Mother and the others waved their hands, telling Tingyu not to disturb Wei Fu, and then left.

Wei Fu slept until noon and only then realized the problem.

Tingyu heard the noise and came in. She saw Wei Fu sitting on the bed with a quilt in his arms. His rosy face, just woken up, was full of solemnity. She couldn't help but breathe softly and walked forward to ask in a low voice: "Princess, what's wrong with you?"

"Fuer didn't used to be so sleepy. He usually woke up at chenshi and went to bed at xushi in the morning. After he turned three, he rarely took naps at noon. But I started feeling sleepy during lunch yesterday, and I also felt sleepy during dinner tonight. I slept a lot longer than usual."

Long Yin felt inexplicably guilty when he heard Wei Fu's words.

Tingyu didn't know Wei Fu's previous daily routine, and she became nervous when she heard her say that. She immediately went to report to the empress dowager. The empress dowager also became nervous when she heard it, and immediately asked someone to call the imperial physician.

After the emperor's morning court session, he would always ask Liu Yi, "Has the princess come yet?"

Liu Yi's answer was always the same: "No."

The answer is no!

Liu Yi never knew that the emperor liked girls so much. Yesterday, after the emperor promised the little princess to catch a goose, he actually asked him to find someone who was good at catching geese, and then threw the official business to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. He learned the tricks of catching geese from that person for a long time, and was waiting to show off his prowess in front of the little princess today, but the princess simply... didn't come!

Liu Yi felt embarrassed for the emperor and was thinking about whether he should secretly send someone to remind the little princess when his apprentice came to him hurriedly and told him that Shou'an Palace had asked for the imperial physician, as if something was wrong with the little princess.

As soon as Liu Yixin mentioned it, he immediately went in and told the emperor about it. The emperor said, "Go to Shou'an Palace."

When the emperor arrived, the imperial physician had already taken Wei Fu's pulse and said that Wei Fu was in good health.

The Queen Mother said angrily, "Everyone says they're fine, but why has my Fu'er become more sleepy than before?"
