Chapter 42 Your son is so lucky

Lord Shu recounted the incident carefully, "It was after he went to the Royal Academy that his bad luck began. Initially, it was minor incidents, like mice chewing his books, stones in his food hitting his teeth, and flower pots falling from the sky while he was walking. Later, his bench suddenly broke during class, he got hurt inexplicably from fights, and there were even cases of him suddenly fainting. So, we didn't dare let him go to the academy anymore."

"Later, dead birds would suddenly fall from the sky when he was sitting at home, and he would be bitten by poisonous insects for no apparent reason. But our home is not bad. The house is always clean and tidy, so there shouldn't be any poisonous insects..." As the old man spoke, tears welled up in his eyes. His son's life was indeed too hard.

Tao Zhi knew that Lord Shu's son was unlucky, but he didn't know he was so unlucky. He couldn't help but shake his head and smack his lips: "Little Senior Sister, do you think this is just bad luck or what?"

Wei Fu said seriously, "You won't know until you go and see it."

When the serious Wei Fu arrived at the door of the old man's house, he saw a dark cloud covering a certain part of his house. When he walked outside the courtyard where Master Shu's son lived, Wei Fu's face was full of solemnity: "Master, the feng shui of your son's courtyard has been disturbed!"

She pointed to a small pond in the yard with koi fish in it and said, "This pond is not good."

Lord Shu asked in confusion: "Why is that?" It is well known that raising koi at home is a good thing!

"When setting up a fish pond in the yard, the location, size, and shape of the pond are all very important. You can't just dig a hole anywhere and raise fish. The north side of the courtyard is the worst place to dig a fish pond. A semicircular or square pond is best. Your courtyard is funnel-shaped, which leaks the owner's luck. Furthermore, the pond is small, but there are so many koi fish, which creates an oppressive effect. It would be a miracle if you could succeed, young master."

"But this fish pond was built after my son got married. He was already unlucky before that."

"Has your son become increasingly unlucky since getting married, to the point where he can't even leave the house, and even at home, disasters befall him?"

Master Shu recalled carefully, then widened his eyes and said, "It's true!"

He immediately said, "Come here, come here quickly, fill up this pond for me."

Wei Fu said very professionally, "Sir, please be patient. Your son is probably not one of those born with bad luck, so there must be other factors affecting him. We'll have someone deal with them together later."

Lord Shu didn't know what he was feeling, so he took Wei Fu and continued to walk inside. Then Wei Fu saw a stone house. This stone house looked very conspicuous and out of place in the yard which was made entirely of wooden houses.

Tao Zhi's mouth twitched wildly: "My dear young master, do you live in this stone house?"

Lord Shu said with a sad and embarrassed look on his face, "Living in a normal house is too unsafe. My son was reading a book before, and the house caught fire for no apparent reason. Another time, two gangsters were fighting, and one of them was injured and fell from the sky, smashing the roof and hitting my son. He was still sleeping at the time and was knocked unconscious. We decided that a sturdy stone house was the safest place to live."

Wei Fu couldn't help but sigh: "Your son is so lucky!"

Lord Shu wondered if he had heard it wrong. How could he be lucky even though he was so unlucky?

Tao Zizui spoke up: "Master Shu, your Excellency is indeed very lucky. Think about it, if someone else encountered the same thing you did, would they still be alive?"

"Your Excellency has encountered many unfortunate events that could have put his life at risk, but he has always been able to narrowly avoid them. Even if he was affected, his life was not in danger."

When Lord Shu thought about it, it was true. Not to mention anything else, even if someone else was hit, they would be killed.

He said hatefully, "Whoever harmed my son deserves death!"

If his son hadn't been so lucky, he would have died so early!

As they were talking, they had already arrived in front of the stone house. Lord Shu had sent someone back early to tell Shu Han about it. As a scholar, Shu Han originally did not believe these things. In addition, his family had asked many people to look at him, and they all said that he was born unlucky, or that he was some self-proclaimed master who would leave after cheating people out of their money.

But even though he never went out, there were people who kept track of what was happening outside so that he wouldn't be isolated from the world, so he had heard about Wei Fu's affairs.

Shu Han greeted Wei Fu and Tao Zhi. Wei Fu looked at him in surprise. She had seen many unlucky people, all with sad faces and a sense of depression.

But this person is very gentle and calm, as if he is not the unlucky one, and life has never hurt his peace. What's more, he is good-looking and has a good temperament.

To use the words of Wei Fu, who can barely read, he is someone who can obviously read a lot of books.

Shu Han asked with a smile, "But what's on my face?"

Wei Fu shook his head and said, "You look good."

Shu Han was delighted. He had never heard such straightforward praise before.

Even if this little princess cannot relieve his disaster, he can still be in a good mood today.

Wei Fu walked around the small stone house with his calves and asked Shu Han, "Do you have anything that you have always carried with you since you entered the academy, no matter where you go or where you stay?"

Shu Han thought about it, and his face changed as he thought of something. He took out a box from the compartment of the desk. There was a jade pendant in the box.

Lord Shu also recognized this jade pendant. His expression changed immediately, and he said to Wei Fu, "This is the jade pendant my son and daughter-in-law got engaged with!"

Shu Han and his wife were engaged to each other as children, so after Shu Han was admitted to the Royal Academy, Lord Shu felt that his son had grown up, so he gave the jade pendant to him for safekeeping.

Wei Fu took the jade pendant and knocked it three times. A black and red talisman floated out from the crystal clear jade pendant.

Seeing this scene, the Shu family father and son didn't know what expression to put on their faces.

I was surprised that such a thing was hidden in this transparent jade pendant, and I was sad that I had been persecuted by my close confidants for so many years.

Yes, both father and son felt that this was done by Shu Han’s Yue family.

Wei Fu raised her hand and burned the talisman. There was no fire in her hand, but the talisman just started to burn.

Every time Tao Zhi saw her junior sister handling these matters, she felt that she was very straightforward and happy. Unlike some people who were not good at their studies, they had to open a forum to find ways to deal with them, and even used dog-blood and human blood, which made things more complicated.

After Wei Fu burned the talisman, he walked to the threshold and stood there, looking into the distance. He pointed to a place and asked, "Junior Brother Taozi, whose house is that over there?"

Tao Zhi went over and took a look: "That's Prince Ping's Mansion. It belongs to the Emperor's great uncle, and also your elder, Little Senior Sister."

As soon as he finished speaking, he suddenly felt a prick of needles in his head. He covered his head and squatted down. Lord Shu and Shu Han did the same.

Wei Fu's chubby face was filled with anger. He stomped his foot and a formation appeared.

Long Yin was no longer coiled around Wei Fu's wrist, but was flying in the air above Wei Fu's head, so that the formation could not affect her.
