Chapter 11 Miss, are you willing to feel sorry for me now?

Chapter 11 Miss, are you willing to feel sorry for me now?

Taking the initiative to attack offers no advantage, so Ling Shu won't rashly provoke conflict. She'll avoid fighting if possible. She wants to win and escape unscathed. Looking at these eleven inexperienced new cultivators, Ling Shu tries to laugh it off.

Ling Shu cupped her hands in a mock-serious gesture, her smile sly: "Dear sisters, I have no intention of offending you. We have no grudges against each other and are all fellow disciples, so why hurt each other? I will not tell anyone about the bullying I suffered by the three of them today. No one knows about this except for us. It would be bad for everyone if it got out of hand. Your masters are usually very busy, and it would be bad if we bothered them with our trivial matters."

"Who says you're one of us!" a tall, burly cultivator shouted.

Li Chang: "You're threatening us with our master?"

Li Chang placed the sword against Ling Shu's neck. Ling Shu leaned back and gently pinched the sword between her index finger and thumb: "No, no, Miss. It was my fault for taking your seat. Please forgive me, okay?"

Li Chang moved her sword an inch further, and Ling Shu, feeling sorry for her own hand and afraid that she might cut off her hand or a few fingers, quickly released the sword, stretched her neck to meet her, and said with a smile, "Miss, I remember that killing someone will result in forty strokes of lightning punishment. You should be careful. Come on, hurry up."

Li Chang was skeptical, and her hand, which was about to swing her sword, hesitated. Since she joined the sect, she had spent her days either catching cats and dogs or being punished by copying the Tao Te Ching. She hadn't really studied the sect's rules and regulations carefully. She moved her hand away half an inch and asked hesitantly, "How did you know?"

Ling Shu chuckled: "This is based on my experience."

A quiet, frail girl next to her covered her mouth with her hand and whispered in Li Chang's ear: "Sister Chang, killing someone does indeed warrant forty strokes of lightning."

Hearing this, Li Chang swallowed hard in fear and lowered the sword from her hand.

The tall, muscular cultivator exclaimed urgently, "Sister Chang, are we just going to let it go like this???"

Li Chang seemed stuck, staring at Ling Shu as if she was pondering something, and didn't make a move for a long time. Seeing that she had no intention of attacking, Ling Shu, adhering to the principle of taking advantage of the situation and running away quickly, looked for an exit that she could escape from quickly.

There's a path under the banyan tree on the east side, with neatly trimmed sides. Haha, found it! This is the exit!

"Alright then, I'll be going now! Goodbye!"

Ling Shu jumped down from the tree and rushed towards the path to the east with all her might.

"Stop right there!" Li Chang's voice came from behind, sharp and angry, as if her home had been ransacked.

In the blink of an eye, Ling Shu was surrounded again.

Ling Shu: "..."

Ling Shu: "Will this ever end?!"

Eleven cultivators, all eleven carrying swords. Li Chang: "I saw you throw stones at three fellow cultivators with my own eyes. Today, I will teach you a lesson on their behalf, no matter what!"

After the crowd surrounded Ling Shu, all eleven people drew their swords, and eleven sharp sword tips were aimed at Ling Shu.

Ling Shu struggled desperately: "Aren't you afraid of being struck by lightning?"

Li Chang smiled slyly: "I'll spare your life, won't I?"

Ling Shu howled, "Inhuman!"

As Li Chang made her move, the sound of a giant creature running came from afar, and birds flew in fright. For some reason, the fat pig-like beast went berserk and charged towards them. The beast was as big as two fat pigs combined, with pink skin and white fur. Its skin looked no different from a pig's. As it moved, the fat on its belly swayed back and forth, and its limbs made a dull thud as it ran, almost echoing throughout the Demon Transformation Valley.

Getting stepped on by this fat pig could be fatal!

Suddenly someone shouted, "Has His Majesty gone mad?!"

Li Chang's spellcasting was interrupted. Upon seeing the approaching object, she immediately fled on her sword. As soon as she took off, she noticed that the sword was moving slowly. She had to gather her magic power again to barely pull the sword upwards. In the blink of an eye, the other ten people had already flown into the air.

Li Chang felt that the sword was taking off with great difficulty. She looked back and saw Ling Shu holding the hilt of the sword with one hand, hanging in mid-air, waving and smiling at her: "Hi."

"Get down here!" Li Chang took a few steps back, about to kick Ling Shu's right hand that was gripping the sword hilt, when she heard a scream of "Ahhh!"

He quickly pulled back his feet, turned around, and saw several cultivators who had flown high into the sky being pulled down by the large net in the air.

Li Chang, who was eager to escape on her sword, slowed down. Ling Shu asked in confusion, "Why aren't you flying anymore?"

Li Chang was caught in a dilemma, and seeing Ling Shu's bewildered expression, she was speechless: "You're new here, so you don't know. Demon Transformation Valley is a place for raising pets. To prevent the pets from escaping, a large net has been set up in the sky that only allows entry and not exit. With our cultivation level, we are not strong enough to break through the net and get out. Even if we could break through the net, I would not want to destroy it. The pets here are the precious treasures of the sect cultivators. If their treasures are lost, how heartbroken they would be."

Ling Shu pondered, "You actually have a conscience."

"I am not a savage!" Li Chang retorted angrily.

Taking advantage of the situation, Ling Shu pressed her advantage: "You feel sorry for your pet, can't you feel sorry for me too?"

Li Chang blushed upon hearing this and said, "I don't want to! You are the culprit who killed my aunt! I will never forgive you for the rest of my life!" Li Chang kicked Ling Shu's hand, trying to kick her down, but Ling Shu, despite the pain in her right hand, did not let go. Instead, she grabbed Li Chang's ankle with her left hand and dragged her down without mercy. Li Chang's entire body was pulled down, and she was dragged upside down by Ling Shu, looking extremely disheveled.

"Young Miss, are you willing to feel sorry for me now?" Ling Shu smiled smugly, revealing a set of big white teeth. She was truly a cunning fox.

Li Chang's face flushed red: "No!"

Ling Shu deliberately raised her voice and said nonchalantly, "Then I'll let go."

It was more than three zhang (approximately 10 meters) above the ground! On the ground, the fat beast was excitedly chasing people around, its three horns knocking over trees as it ran, causing them to bleed profusely. It would turn around and chase after anyone it saw, seemingly enjoying itself immensely.

"one."

"two."

"Aaaaaah! I'll use my sword to lift you up to a high place, don't let go!"

"In that case, I'll have to trouble you, Miss." A sly, smug tone emanated from his words, his obvious delight evident.

Li Chang, while upside down, used her magic to control her sword, slowly moving the two of them to a high rock. Li Chang put her hands on the ground, and like a centipede descending a tree, she lowered her legs, then lay on the ground panting heavily. Ling Shu clapped his hands, put his hands on his hips, and watched the good show of the chase between man and beast below, asking, "Hey, is that fat pig called His Majesty?"

"Hmm," Li Chang replied coldly.

"The person who came up with this name is a genius," Ling Shu exclaimed, oblivious to the situation.

"I'm not talking to you anymore, I have to go save people." Li Chang picked up her sword, quickly adjusted her state, and rushed into the chaotic scene below. She flew over quickly, bent down on the sword, reached out and pulled up the person being chased by the Emperor, placing them on higher ground. Even though her own magic power was insufficient and saving people was quite strenuous, she still continued, stumbling along.

Ling Shu witnessed everything from the stone and clicked his tongue impatiently.

Then he leaped up, grabbed a vine from a nearby tree, and swung through the air like a gibbon. He landed by the stream, looked for a palm-shaped, five-lobed grass, walked around for a while, and finally found it in a pile of weeds. He picked one and held it in his hand.

The dull sound of running came from behind, and there was a strong smell of blood in the air. Turning around, I saw that the Emperor had already run up to me. A section of his middle horn had been worn off, and the red wound, like a deer antler being cut off, was horrifying.

Oh no, I was so focused on finding the Five Maple Grass that I forgot to pay attention to my surroundings.

In the blink of an eye, a figure in Cheng Yi flew in from the upper left, stretched out her hand, and shouted urgently, "Ling Shu! Give me your hand!"

Ling Shu quickly grasped the ground, her feet leaving the ground. The Emperor rushed forward but missed. His plump forelimbs were gathering strength to crawl on the ground, and he stared at Ling Shu in the air, using it to help him jump up.

The horn barely grazed the sole of Ling Shu's shoe.

Then it landed heavily, making a tremendous noise, as if the earth itself was about to tremble.

Ling Shu: "No, how can it jump? Aren't triangular pigs supposed to be clumsy and slow-moving animals?"

Li Chang scoffed, "You're making a fuss over nothing. The Shangqing Sect has abundant spiritual energy, and the animals roam freely every day, so it's normal for them to be so agile."

After Li Chang finished speaking, the people around her remained silent for a long time, thinking she was holding back her anger to argue with her. Turning their heads to look, they found that Ling Shu was staring at the Emperor's movements below. She suddenly said, "Put me down." Without thinking, Li Chang retorted, "Are you sick?" As she finished speaking, she sensed Ling Shu's seriousness and immediately shut her mouth.

She stared intently, her eyes gleaming like a raptor eyeing its prey. This focused look sent a chill down Li Chang's spine, as if those eyes were actually staring at her.

As expected, a demon is a demon...

“Right here, follow it, fly lower.” Ling Shu was extremely calm and composed, a stark contrast to his earlier nonchalant and carefree demeanor.

Li Chang did as instructed, then her eyes widened: Ling Shu jumped off the sword and landed precisely on the Emperor's back.

The Emperor felt an unfamiliar presence on his back and began to twist and jump, trying to throw the person off. Ling Shu gripped the horns tightly with both hands, leaning against its back to steady himself. Unable to struggle, the Emperor ran quickly to throw the person off. Taking advantage of the moment when the beast was not twisting its body and was stable, Ling Shu grabbed the horns with one hand and, in a half-straddle, half-hanging position, probed the beast's mouth.

Li Chang, watching from the air, was extremely nervous: "Are you crazy?! What are you doing?!"

Ling Shu didn't answer. The beast sensed that the person on its back was unsteady, so it took the opportunity to sway its body. Then, from Li Chang's perspective, she saw Ling Shu slide off!

Then she disappeared completely!

Li Chang was so anxious that she flew around in circles on her sword in the air.

The Emperor was still charging forward, its rhythm disrupted by the spirit, and it was rushing around wildly. Unfortunately, there was a tree right in front of it, and it still hadn't stopped!

It's going to crash! It's going to crash!

There wasn't a trace of Ling Shu anywhere the Emperor had visited.

Li Chang made up her mind, regardless of anything else, and rushed down to see! Just as she approached the tree, the beast suddenly turned a corner, bypassing the tree. Then the beast's speed gradually decreased, and suddenly a fair hand grabbed the horns again, and then a foot hooked onto its back. Ling Shu flipped over and rode on the Emperor's back!

Ling Shu commanded, "Stop." The Emperor immediately stopped and stood tall with his head held high.

Li Chang wiped away her tears of joy: "How did you do that! I thought you were dead, sob sob sob..."

Ling Shu retorted, "You're the one who's dead."

Li Chang: "How do you know that herb is useful?" Ling Shu: "I used to live a poor life, a wild child in the mountains and forests, and I often dealt with these things, so I am naturally familiar with them. When animals go crazy, it is very likely that they have inhaled pollen called Pu Lian. Eating Wufeng grass can detoxify Pu Lian's poison."

The ten cultivators standing on the high place witnessed the whole process and came down one after another. The tall and strong cultivator walked over, scratched his head, and said embarrassedly, "I, I take back what I said. You and I are 'us'..." Ling Shu mimicked her words: "Who said you and we are 'us'!"

Everyone burst into laughter.

“Um…we apologize.” The three sisters who had bullied her first came over and bowed to her. The cultivator wearing a silk flower in her hair said, “We bullied you first, we’re sorry.” Then she said to Li Chang and the others, “We were the ones who bullied you, Sister Chang and everyone, please don’t misunderstand, Ling Shu is a good person.”

Li Chang suddenly realized that seeing is not necessarily believing. She and the other cultivators came to the Demon Transformation Valley to see their pets. When they arrived, they happened to see Ling Shu hitting the three of them with stones and looking smug. They immediately misunderstood.

But Li Chang couldn't resist asking, "Why are they bullying you?"

Ling Shu immediately said, "Don't tell me that flies don't land on eggs without cracks, and dogs don't need a reason to bite."

Li Chang sensed something was off: "Why do I feel like you're insulting me..."

Ling Shu: "Whoever identifies with this is the person I'm talking about."

Li Chang: "You...!"

Ling Shu interrupted her, casually asking, "Whose pet is this fat pig?"

Someone answered, "It's from Sect Leader Wang."

Ling Shu jumped off the emperor as if he had been electrocuted, shouting angrily, "Bad luck!"

The crowd escorted her to the entrance of Qingxi Palace. Ling Shu entered the palace, and Hai Gu came to greet her, but she ignored her and went straight to Shuiyue Hot Spring.

She was emotionally agitated just now, which caused the demonic power within her to surge. She realized this after the Heavenly Tribulation. She avoided the Sea Maiden because she didn't want anyone to discover that she was injured.

While taming that stupid pig, she was accidentally stepped on and vomited blood, but not wanting to be discovered, she forced herself to return. The demonic power within her was causing her to become restless, and she vaguely felt that it was becoming difficult to suppress. She didn't know what the consequences would be if this restlessness was not suppressed; she only knew that at this moment, she wanted to rush in and soothe her restless demonic power in the Water Moon Hot Spring.

She rushed inside, but didn't notice a hand-held lantern placed at the entrance.

A thin white veil draped over the steaming Water Moon Hot Spring, through which she could see a hazy figure from behind.

The woman in the hot spring had her dark hair pulled back to one side, revealing a large expanse of fair skin on her back. Water droplets could be faintly seen clinging to her smooth skin. She possessed a noble and elegant air, and even just looking at her from behind was breathtaking.

Ling Shu's legs seemed to be hooked, and she remained motionless for a long time.
