Chapter 119: A Loophole

In the closed underground passage, Ai Yu leaned against the wall, barefoot, and walked forward step by step. A winding trail of blood was left on the ground behind her.

Soon, another wave of armed men appeared in front of the passage, with their weapons pointed at Ai Yu's heart: "Stop!"

Ai Yu smiled slightly and said, "If you have the ability, just stop me. Don't talk nonsense."

They were able to obtain Li Yuzhen's blood for research purposes only for physical examinations, but they didn't have any good reasons, so they must have waited a long time for such an opportunity.

Since she had saved Li Yuzhen, how could Ai Yu not be on guard? But she still had to pretend, otherwise how could she get in and see so many interesting things?

Bullets rained down like a torrential rain, so dense that it was hard to breathe. They came at Ai Yu like a blanket. Ai Yu held the wall with one hand, and faced the rain of bullets with the other hand without fear.

She whispered, "It's mine."

At that moment, as if under a spell, dozens of bullets suddenly reversed mid-air, returning even faster than they had come. In the blink of an eye, the guards on the other side had suffered heavy casualties.

"Aren't you a summoner? How did you do that?" a surviving guard screamed in disbelief and terror. His voice was filled with despair and fear of an unknown force. Faced with such a situation, fear quickly overcame his professional ethics. Without further thought, he dropped his gun and fled.

After all, how could an ordinary person like him defeat an enemy that couldn't even pose a threat with a gun?

Ai Yu raised the corners of her mouth slightly, and said with a smile: "Who said you can leave?" Her voice was as calm as water, but with an irresistible majesty.

The man opposite him, his eyes wide open, shouted righteously, "Don't think that just because you're a Moon Envoy you can be so arrogant and domineering, taking human life lightly! Your behavior is a crime! The state has the right to work with Qimen to bring you to justice!"

After hearing this, Ai Yu smiled softly, as if she had just heard the biggest joke in the world. She slowly raised her head, stared at the man with a sharp gaze, and said coldly, "Criminal? I didn't kill anyone."

She raised one eyebrow: "Who said they were dead?"

Seeing that these people no longer had the courage to attack her, Ai Yu continued to walk forward: "Hurry up and carry the people on the ground away."

After scaring everyone away, Ai Yu breathed a sigh of relief, blew a whistle, and released two clones to explore forward again.

——The other side——

Ai Yu, wearing a finely tailored suit, gently smoothed the wrinkles at her collar and put on her mask. Jian Kaiheng, standing not far ahead, was fully prepared but still sorting through the documents in his hands.

Suddenly, Jian Kaiheng turned around, his gaze landing on Ai Yu. He said succinctly, "From now on, your temporary identity is the Power Angel—the Huai Country woman who once helped Qimen Headquarters. You only need to follow closely behind me."

Ai Yu nodded slightly, indicating that she understood, and then followed Jian Kaiheng downstairs. Behind them, two other masked staff members followed quietly.

The identity of this Huaiguo woman was only intended to allow Jian Kaiheng to win more chips at the table, but there was indeed such a thing.

The negotiation location was not in a high-rise office, but in a teahouse.

This teahouse is located in the heart of the city, offering a tranquil escape amidst the bustle. Its exterior features a modern, minimalist design, with large floor-to-ceiling windows allowing sunlight to stream in. Inside, soft lighting creates a warm and elegant atmosphere. The wooden tables, chairs, and flooring, combined with the minimalist decor, create a comfortable atmosphere.

The venue they had carefully chosen was an exquisite private room upstairs. The two of them slowly ascended the stairs, led respectfully by a waiter. Upon reaching the door, the waiter gently opened it and humbly invited them in.

By this time, Su Ci had already stood up and walked forward with his assistant. With a smile on his face, Su Ci said enthusiastically, "Mr. Jian is indeed extraordinary and dignified, truly a rare talent. And the lady next to you is even more heroic and valiant, no less than any man, embodying the spirit of a heroine. Please come in!"

Jian Kaiheng's lips curled up slightly, revealing a standard yet polite business smile. "No, no, Principal Su, you're really flattering me. You're still as energetic and vigorous as ever. It's just that my friend next to me doesn't understand the Xia language very well, so I'll thank you on her behalf."

Hearing this, Su Ci remained calm on the surface, but a ripple had already begun to form in his heart. He cast his gaze towards Ai Yu without revealing any expression, and after a quick look, he replied, "I see. It's okay, it's okay. Please take a seat."

Jian Kaiheng turned his head and said to Ai Yu: "Sit down."

Su Ci exchanged glances with his assistant, but the assistant didn't say anything special.

Time passed minute by minute, and two hours later, the conversation came to an end. Jian Kaiheng stood up contentedly, straightened his clothes, and left the teahouse with Ai Yu at a brisk pace.

Shortly after he left, a figure slowly emerged from the teahouse. It was Su Ci, his face gloomy. He stood in front of the assistant and demanded sternly, "Ai Yu is actually an angel! Such an important matter, why didn't we find out when we enrolled? Now, we've been tricked by an angel!"

Faced with the boss's reprimand, the assistant was like a dumb person swallowing bitter herbs - he had no way to express his pain.
