The scene became quiet for a moment, and the gentleman left the place at some point.
Under the night sky, Ai Yu hugged herself, while Lan Ling stood on the other side of the stage, looking at her while lifting the bead curtain.
"Luffy isn't dead yet." Ai Yu had a bottle of freshly chilled juice in her hand. She picked it up and drank a glass. This was the same juice Ai Yu had drunk when she first went to Qian Cheng's house. It tasted really good. "So, according to the contract, it's not time for you and me to duel yet."
She glanced sideways at Lanling and smiled, "You are a very charming boss and you have your own principles. Unfortunately, we can't be friends after all." She raised her head and drank the juice she had just brought from somewhere. Ai Yu licked her lips with her tongue and handed the cup back.
"Goodbye." As Ai Yu left, the makeshift stage collapsed and turned into a pile of dust.
Lanling still stood there, suspended in mid-air, not knowing what he was thinking about, and he lowered his head and chuckled.
After his death, the poet plucked the strings of his harp and said with a smile: "My dear king, after your death, can you give me the throne? I will sing freedom for the world and fight against the evil on the throne. [1]"
Lan Ling held his forehead and laughed, as if mocking the poet's presumption. "Old Nine, you seem to be a little confused about the priorities."
Just one sentence brought the poet to his knees. His lyre fell to the ground and was stepped on by Lanling. Lanling leaned over, lifted the poet's chin, and squeezed it hard. "Do you really think I don't know the stupid things you did? You collude with the law beast? How dare you?"
The poet couldn't even open his mouth to argue and could only look at Lanling in horror.
"You guys are always up to some little tricks, none of you are honest. But, Lao Jiu, even if I die, you won't be kings." Lan Ling looked sideways at the poet and sneered, "Is it more fun to get close to the law beast? Or is it more fun to get close to other kings? Hmm? Why don't you say anything?"
Realizing he could finally speak, the poet quickly begged for mercy: "Your Majesty, please forgive me, Your Majesty, please forgive me. I swear on my soul and everything I have that I absolutely did not approach the law beast. Whether it is the express regulations of our army or your personal grudge, approaching the law beast is not allowed. How could I make such a mistake, right?"
After hearing this, Lan Ling just smiled and said, "Who knows?"
The poet was almost crying: "Sir, please let me go first, okay? I... I know which captains are close to the law beasts."
"You think I don't know?"
This sentence silenced the poet again. He thought for a moment and prepared to divert Lanling's attention: "Your Majesty, there is one more thing. There is a new order from above, and the news has been suppressed by the boss for the time being. Do you want to hear it?"
Lanling released the poet: "What order?"
The poet turned around, took Lanling's arm, and shook it, saying, "I heard that you want us to capture Xila instead of negotiating with her. Your Majesty, are you planning to disobey orders again this time?"
Lan Ling was somewhat helpless: "We are not yet strong enough to capture Xila, right?"
The poet pulled out a portable tablet from his cloak, unfolded it, and showed it to Lanling: "Of course not, but Raphael is here too. Perhaps we can cooperate with Raphael. Raphael's mission is to capture Xila, so he can be considered our companion."
"oh."
oh?
The poet was a little unsure what this "oh" meant: "Sire, can you please move your feet now? I hear my zither weeping."
"oh."
poet:……
Then you move!
I really want to curse but I can't.
"Raphael used to live in Ai Yu's body. Now that Ai Yu has awakened, Raphael has left. I don't know where he went for the time being. But I left behind a piece of Raphael's neural frequency. I'll leave this matter to you. With your ability to fool people, it should be no problem, right?" Lan Ling asked the poet with a smile, which made the poet feel a chill on his back.
"That must be no problem, Lord. Don't worry, I'm going to go and persuade Raphael right away."
Lan Ling nodded with satisfaction, then lifted his foot and said, "Go ahead."
"OK."
After seeing Lanling off, the poet breathed a sigh of relief. He rubbed his chin and thought for a moment. The more he thought about it, the more he felt something was amiss. Hadn't they all privately said they didn't want this Lord? So how did Lanling know what the captains were doing? Was there a traitor?
Who is this? So hateful, following them in complaining about Lanling while telling tales at the same time? This kind of person is the most annoying!

Huadu.
The Qian family welcomed a special guest.
Qian Tai was surprised by the guest's arrival. In order to communicate smoothly with the guest, Qian Tai hurriedly called his son to act as an interpreter.
Seeing this, Akashilia smiled slightly and said, "Mr. Qian, there's no need to bother. I'm confident that I speak Xia language quite well, so there's no need to bother you with finding an interpreter."
After hearing this, Qian Tai also laughed and replied apologetically, "Haha, I'm so sorry to have made you laugh. I'm not well educated and I'm worried about communication problems, so I wanted to find someone to help me."
After exchanging a few pleasantries, the two walked into the house together. At this moment, Qian Cheng and Wei Xiaoran exchanged a glance, a hint of doubt in their eyes. Qian Cheng wondered to himself, why did it feel like everyone around him was an angel? Could it be that angels were really treated so well?
Wei Xiaoran just glanced at Qian Cheng indifferently, then withdrew his gaze and quickly followed Akashilia into the house.
Before Qian Cheng could figure out what was happening, he saw a strange beast that looked like a human but not a human appear at the door. He thought it was a special star beast he had never seen before, but when it spoke, it was Ai Yu's voice.
"Brother, I'm back."
Qian Cheng took a step back, somewhat unconvinced. He frowned, "Ai Yu?"
Ai Yu tilted his head and smiled: "Yes, it's me."
Qian Cheng walked over and looked at Ai Yu carefully. His eyes were slightly red, but he still smiled: "Are you hungry? Do you want to eat something?"
Ai Yu covered her lips and thought for a while: "Hmm... I want to eat what you cook."
"Okay, I'll do it for you right away." Qian Cheng made way and motioned Ai Yu to go inside. He didn't ask Ai Yu why she became like this, nor did he ask if she could change back. He just treated her as Ai Yu.
Ai Yu reached out his hand, shook Qian Cheng's, and asked, "Who was the guest just now?"
Qian Cheng didn't expect Ai Yu to suddenly care about this: "It was the chairman of Angel and her secretary who suddenly came to Dad and said they wanted to discuss cooperation. I don't know what's going on. What happened?" Qian Cheng touched Ai Yu's bony hand and felt distressed.
Suffering outside again.
