Before Ai Yu and the other three went into the water, they met Zhao Fugui.
Qian Cheng uttered a sigh, "Uncle Zhao, why are you here?"

After the mermaid woke up, his mind was still a little slow to react. He looked around and saw that it was dark all around, so he swam upstream.
The staff were recording the types and numbers of underwater creatures, completely unaware of the danger approaching.
The merman raised his arm and with quick and fierce movements, the scimitar on his arm cut off the staff member's neck. He laughed grimly and watched the blood spurt around him, attracting several bold fish, which the merman killed.
After killing all the creatures within sight, the mermaid stopped, moved its nose, and continued to swim upwards.
Ai Yu and the other three just arrived at East Dongting Lake, and saw a body emerging from the lake. It didn't look like a good creature.
The mermaid stared at Ai Yu, smiled, and moved quickly.
While Qian Cheng was still thinking, Ai Yu had already taken out a pistol, aimed at the mermaid, and fired a shot.
The mermaid dived into the water, dodged the shot, and then emerged from the water.
"It's a star beast." Ai Yu fired another shot, but the star beast in front of her still dodged it. She frowned slightly. Her shooting skills were very accurate. The star beast that could dodge her bullet must be at least a level one star beast.
Qian Cheng also took out his pistol, but neither of them fired several shots, and none of them hit the target.

The mermaid was distracted and put the two bullets into his mouth, bit them into pieces and swallowed them.
Qian Cheng stared at the scene and said, "Holy crap, this bite force is probably even stronger than that of a saltwater crocodile..."

Zhao Fugui arrived late and stared at the two people fighting on the water: "That guy must be a special-grade star beast, run quickly."
