Just as the two were trying to figure out what to do, the mermaid suddenly leaped out of the water, a pair of wings spread from its waist, and it remained suspended in the air. It looked at the four people on the shore, stretched out its hand, and said in a low, magnetic voice, "I don't like fighting summons. I'm in a good mood today. Pick one and fight me."
The four, except Ai Yu, were unhappy with the mermaid's condescending attitude, but they were helpless. The opponent was a special-grade star beast, something Sariel didn't know. The gap between special-grade star beasts might be even greater than that between special-grade and first-grade.
The merman hooked his fingers and raised an eyebrow at the four people: "I'm speaking Xia language, don't you understand? Or are you considering it?" He frowned slightly, "I'll give you three seconds to think about it."
Zhao Fugui took a step forward: "I'll do it."
Qian Cheng's eyes widened: "No, Uncle Zhao..."
Zhao Fugui motioned Qian Cheng to be quiet: "Let me do it, you guys go. I'm stronger than you, so it's only right for me to stand up. Let's go before he changes his mind."
Qian Cheng hesitated for a moment, then grabbed Ai Yu's wrist and walked away: "Hold on, we'll get you some help."
"Yeah." Zhao Fugui found a rock to steady his thermos cup, wet his hands and wiped the loose hair off his forehead. He stretched his shoulders and neck, his eyes dull and silent, and said lightly, "How do you want to fight?"
The mermaid stuck out her tongue and licked the wound on her hand. A smile appeared on her face. She didn't answer, but just flew over.
Zhao Fugui's body was surrounded by his own blood. He squinted his eyes and watched the movement trajectory of the mermaid. The blood swirling around his body turned into several blood arrows and shot forward.
The merman didn't dodge or evade, grinning and saying, "Is this all you can do?"
Zhao Fugui's face darkened and he retreated while attacking.
We can't fight this mermaid by the lake, it will be disadvantageous to him.
Seeing his opponent running away, the merman would not let him have his way. He fell to the ground, twisting his tail like a snake and crawling to chase Zhao Fugui.
Zhao Fugui glanced back at the mermaid, wondering if it could glide and stay on the ground for long. At the same time, he pressed two fingers onto the wound on his wrist, forcing out a little blood. All that blood formed a circular cage, enveloping the mermaid and tightening it.
The mermaid was temporarily trapped by the blood rope. She moved her upper body slightly and exerted force to break free from the blood rope.
However, what caught him off guard was that several drops of blood flowed through his facial features and into his body.
Zhao Fugui gritted his teeth and stood firm, then controlled the blood outside, turning it into countless arrows and shooting at the mermaid.
The merman touched his nose and frowned. Then he sprinted, closing the distance between himself and Zhao Fugui. He raised his arm and brought down his scimitar, slashing at the blood clot.
The mermaid was slightly surprised. She didn't expect that she couldn't cut the highly coagulated blood.
Taking advantage of the moment when the mermaid was stunned, Zhao Fugui took back his blood and condensed it into a blood blade.
The two fought blades for a moment, and the mermaid became more and more excited as the battle went on: "I didn't expect that you, who are so skinny and weak, have such good physical fitness. It's really interesting."
Zhao Fugui curled his lips slightly: "You're so kind."
The merman laughed and attacked faster and faster: "But human physical strength is limited. I want to see how long you can hold on."
Zhao Fugui felt something was wrong but he didn't show it on his face.
If it's a war of attrition, then he has no choice but to fight quickly and decisively.
Zhao Fugui sensed the few drops of blood sent into the mermaid's body, which flowed along the mermaid's blood vessels into the heart and flew around recklessly.
The merman stopped attacking, stroked his chest, and tilted his head: "Your blood is rushing through my body." He pointed his five fingers at his heart, stabbed it hard, and took out the heart from his body. He smiled and said, "It's just a heart, I'll give it to you."
Zhao Fugui stared. How could this be? Any creature would become weak if its heart was attacked, but this mermaid cut out the entire heart. Could it be that his Sariel was a healing device?
The merman, anticipating Zhao Fugui's surprise, charged forward, his scimitar slashing across, only to be met with a narrow strike. Blood dripped from the hole in his chest, his face grim. "Blood manipulator, can't you just give me a proper swordfight?"
Zhao Fugui breathed slightly, pushed the mermaid away with force, and gripped his bloody blade tightly.
Physical fitness is not his strong point. Due to long-term sleep and lack of exercise, his body is actually very weak.
But can a mermaid really be free from worries without a heart? What about the brain?
Sensing that there seemed to be worms in his body heading towards his brain, the mermaid was furious. His muscles tensed and he slapped the ground with his tail. Cracks appeared on the ground as his tail slapped. He formed his hands into claws, his fingers trembling. "You, you, you, you don't look like a warrior at all."
He is angry.
But seeing that the merman's speed had doubled, Zhao Fugui's eyes did not react in time, and he just relied on his body's instinct to block the attack. The merman bared his teeth and said, "Fight, fight!"
Zhao Fugui gritted his teeth, continued to resist the mermaid's attacks, and retreated.
The mermaid used all her strength and fierce momentum in every attack.
Zhao Fugui felt his blood drilling into the mermaid's brain. Two streams of blood came at the same time, one attacking the brain and the other drilling into the wound on the chest.
The mermaid stopped attacking and slapped his head.
Zhao Fugui would never give him a chance, and more blood flowed into the mermaid's wound.
Calculating the timing perfectly, Zhao Fu stopped his movements, his dead eyes met the mermaid's again, he raised his right hand and snapped his fingers.
As the voice fell, the foreign blood in the mermaid's body shot out in 360 degrees like a sea urchin, piercing countless holes.
The mermaid tilted his head, supported his head, and laughed loudly, regardless of the blood falling: "Your Sariel is so funny." Then he started coughing and vomited out a few transparent balls that rolled to the ground.
