First encounter with the demon cultivator and the pretty boy

First encounter with the demon cultivator and the pretty boy

Chu Caiwu is going to starve to death today.

Chu Caiwu lay in the cold little dark room, her stomach rumbling and she could hardly breathe. She stared at the ceiling in despair.

The man who happily drew her blood and brought her food did not come.

Chu Caiwu wanted to sleep, but tossed and turned, unable to fall asleep. Her hands gradually became transparent, becoming nothing more than shadows. But what did it matter? No matter what she did, there was nothing to eat anyway. She would rather starve to death than die of sleepiness.

Chu Caiwu closed his eyes, as if he saw groups of fairy children in his dream. They came out of a small house with white steam coming out, carrying plates of fresh, crispy and browned duck meat - those were fairy ducks.

Chu Caiwu ate ducks from the mortal world, but she could never feel full. Later, the cheerful leader told her that she could only eat ducks with fairy energy to fill her stomach.

Chu Caiwu followed the fragrance and came to a small house with a rich and tempting aroma. There was no one there, probably because the group of people had gone out.

The only thing that is not lacking is the various fairy-like red fairy fish, fairy ducks, fairy chickens... and fairy fennel.

Chu Caiwu was extremely hungry. When she hadn't seen food, she could endure it until she starved to death. Now that she saw food, her taste buds were aroused again, and she didn't want to starve to death anymore.

Chu Caiwu tore open a fairy duck leg. The duck leg meat was clearly shredded, emitting a hot and tempting aroma, and was soft and elastic. The base of the duck leg was wrapped in a layer of crispy duck skin, which was dazzlingly golden.

Chu Caiwu bit off a layer of soft and elastic duck meat, which melted in her mouth. She took another bite of the crispy and golden duck skin. The fairy air that emerged had made her hand solid, no longer a phantom.

It turned out that this was not a dream, she turned into a shadow and floated out.

Chu Caiwu ate more than ten plates of fairy chicken and fairy duck, but only ate the legs. He also drank the red fairy fish soup and left only one plate of fairy fennel.

Chu Caiwu half-lying against the wall, staring at the fennel, lost in thought. She had once thought it was glorious to have fennel become an immortal, but she was only fennel transformed into a spirit. However, this immortal fennel had already been made into a dish.

Suddenly, there was a clattering sound of something breaking. A fairy child put his hands on his hips. This fairy had actually eaten the leftover dishes from the Fairy Demon Banquet. The fairy child angrily shouted, "Give me back my fairy chicken, fairy duck, and fairy fish!"

Chu Caiwu glanced at the broken plates on the ground and the wasted fresh fairy duck, and sighed.

Chu Caiwu said with a tut, "Does the Sect Master know that you wasted all the fairy ducks?"

Chu Caiwu shook his head and looked at the little boy. The little boy looked down and saw that those were the fairy ducks he had broken.

The little boy raised his head and retorted, "You still know the Sect Master? I'm going to report you to the Sect Master. There are no backup dishes for today's Immortal Demon Banquet!"

Chu Caiwu was originally confident because the head of the sect who had been feeding her seemed to be in a high position and had often told her that no one could hurt her and that she was not allowed to contact anyone else.

But the bad-tempered, food-wasting kid said this was a backup dish for the Immortal Demon Banquet. It sounded so grand, it seemed like it could even invite the brutal and murderous demons.

It's the demon who will kill people with just one look.

Chu Caiwu slowly uttered a few words: "Immortal Demon Banquet...?"

The fairy child crossed his arms over his chest and said arrogantly, "The demons, if they knew you ate all the spare food, their strange temper would flare up and they might tear you into pieces. You won't be able to escape."

Chu Caiwu was no longer sleepy. She glanced at the door and was thinking about how to escape. She vaguely felt that she was hungry again. The fairy duck and fairy chicken legs did not seem to have much fairy energy, and she almost consumed it when she got excited.

The fairy child frowned and said, "Whose fairy are you?"

While the child was hesitant, Chu Caiwu found a good opportunity and turned back while running, saying, "Thank you for your kind words!"

When Chu Caiwu turned around, he saw the fairy boy shining with golden light.

The fairy child made a hand seal with both hands, glanced at his eyes, and said, "So you are the fennel spirit!"

Chu Caiwu was so excited trying to escape that the spiritual energy he had just replenished was almost exhausted, and he became a phantom again.

The fairy boy swung out a golden demon-binding whip and hit Chu Caiwu directly. It hit the right spot, but still missed.

Chu Caiwu didn't bother looking back at this moment, and continued to fly forward. She was so hungry that her spiritual power was overdrawn, and she was no longer even a demon, so the bundle of demon whips was of no use at all.

The immortal child threw the whip to the ground childishly, just like he had thrown the plate just now, and said angrily: "Master, I will definitely bring you back!"

Chu Caiwu fled to a crowded place, listening to the boy's roar getting weaker and weaker. Suddenly, a fairy flew by, followed by a respectful maid. The fairy was dressed in light pink and adorned with numerous pearls and emeralds. The jade hairpin fell to the ground and shattered.

Chu Caiwu was startled by the sound of shattering jade and turned back. The fairy's expression was like a choked pufferfish. Although she didn't say anything, the maids rushed to her, as if trying to take credit, saying: "Where did you come from, you blind man! How dare you offend the fairy of the Desolate Temple!"

The other maids picked up the broken jade hairpin, knelt down and presented it to the fairy, and from time to time they would peek at the fairy's expression.

Chu Caiwu continued to float forward, apologizing to the fairy as he floated: "I'm sorry! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"

Chu Caiwu heard this and shouted angrily from behind: "You bumped into this fairy and you're still running away?! Catch her!"

Several maids disregarded their image and rushed straight towards her. Chu Caiwu's feet were covered in cold sweat and she seemed to be about to slip. She had already drifted to a place she had never seen before.

There is a not very deep cliff here, with a blood-red halo rising from the bottom of the cliff. Many men, women, young and old are coming out from here.

Chu Caiwu had no physical body and didn't know what was under the cliff. She could only float towards the bottom of the cliff. The group of maids who were running frantically were left behind by her and were separated from her on the cliff.

Chu Caiwu finally had time to take a closer look at this place. The young men and women here were wearing bright red clothes and had snow-white skin. Even the old people were wearing scarlet robes. Moreover, an old man and a child were fighting.

Chu Caiwu floated to the side of the blood-red halo and saw clearly that it was a formation.

The people coming out of here are completely different from those immortals. Rather than being awe-inspiring, they are more beautiful, especially when the old people and children fight. Chu Caiwu is 70% sure that these are demons.

Chu Caiwu was afraid of floating back to the fairy clan. She didn't want to be taken blood by the leader every day, and she didn't want to be hunted by the little boy and the fairy just now. Moreover, if this formation really led to the demon world, she could hide there. Fairies and demons were in the same world, and there were many fennel essences in the demon world, so it would not be easy to find her.

Chu Caiwu floated into the cave entrance. After being struck by the dazzling red light, she saw two flowing red characters on the towering city wall: Demon Realm. If these two characters were not marked, Chu Caiwu would have almost thought that she had really starved to death and gone to the underworld.

It was gloomy here, without sunlight, and apart from the brightly colored clothes worn by the demons, there was basically no color. However, the road was lined with food stalls, golden and very tempting.

Chu Caiwu saw the words "Fairy Fennel" written in the distance, and floated towards it. As long as there was fairy air, she could fill her stomach.

The shopkeeper shouted enthusiastically, but he raised his head but lowered his eyes, not looking directly at Chu Caiwu.

Chu Caiwu swallowed, staring at the rows of fennel gleaming with golden light. Then he heard the shopkeeper lower his eyes and say, "Sir, please order some fairy fennel. It only costs eight magic stones. Guaranteed authenticity and contains fairy power."

Chu Caiwu was stunned. She looked at herself and realized that she was wearing men's clothes. She didn't like wearing this light blue men's clothes, but the leader threw her a piece of such tattered clothes.

Moreover, these shop owners did not dare to look customers in the eye, and because they saw that she was wearing men's clothing, they thought she was a man.

Chu Caiwu touched her waist. She didn't even have a purse, let alone magic stones.

Chu Caiwu looked directly at the shopkeeper, but the shopkeeper still lowered his eyes and did not look directly at Chu Caiwu. The shopkeeper said: "Young Master, would you like to buy a string?"

Chu Caiwu really wanted to have a string of fairy fennel. The fairy power she had eaten was almost exhausted. The fennel was emitting golden light and looked very crispy, full of fairy power.

Chu Caiwu said sparingly, "No."

If she spoke a few more words, she would consume a lot of energy and would almost starve to death. She could only speak fewer words, perhaps this way she could live longer.

Chu Caiwu looked around the stall, then floated five steps in the opposite direction of the stall. After confirming that it would not affect the business, Chu Caiwu lay down on the Demon Street.

Chu Caiwu discovered that she and the shopkeeper, who had his eyes lowered, could look into each other's eyes. Chu Caiwu raised her eyes and looked up at the shopkeeper, who lowered his eyes and looked back at her.

The shopkeeper's eyes avoided and lowered even lower, but Chu Caiwu could still look him in the eye.

The shopkeeper kept saying, "Sorry...sorry, I didn't mean to look you in the eye."

Seeing the shopkeeper so panicked, Chu Caiwu immediately closed her eyes, so that the shopkeeper would not think that she had offended her by looking at her.

Chu Caiwu had to explain: "It's not the demon clan."

The smell of roasted fennel became stronger and stronger, as if it was right next to her. Chu Caiwu opened her eyes and found the shopkeeper standing in front of her with a silly look on his face.

The shopkeeper held out three skewers of roasted fennel. "These are my apology. You're not a demon, we're still from the same hometown."

Chu Caiwu seemed to be lifted up by the delicious taste of the fairy fennel. He took the three skewers of roasted fennel tremblingly and ate them bite by bite. With tears in his eyes, he asked, "You, are you also a fennel spirit?"

The shopkeeper's smile froze, and he said, "You...you are fennel essence..."

Chu Caiwu nodded subconsciously and honestly: "Yes."

Chu Caiwu was still very hungry. Three strings of fennel were eaten but it did not help. He did not dare to speak with much strength.

The shopkeeper's jaw dropped as he slowly said, "I'm a pig spirit, but, but... I never eat pork. You, you're a fennel spirit, do you eat... fennel?"

Chu Caiwu felt a little embarrassed but didn't think there was anything wrong with it: "Well... as long as I don't starve to death, it's fine."

Chu Caiwu's figure became even more ethereal, and he asked, "Does this fennel of yours contain any magical power?"

The shop owner took a few small steps and rushed back to his stall, shaking his head in astonishment, as if he had been slapped in the face.

Chu Caiwu no longer wanted to make things difficult for himself. After thanking him, he floated back into the demon world, hoping to find a place where he could lie down quietly.

There was no noise in this place, and no small vendors, just long lines of people. These demon cultivators were dressed in gorgeous clothes and lined up impatiently.

Chu Caiwu fell straight down and lay on the ground, as if she had been beaten stiff. The surrounding demon cultivators stared at her with wide eyes.

Chu Caiwu felt embarrassed again, but then he thought that he was almost starving to death, so he just let it be embarrassing.

An old demon cultivator with a strong spirit shouted, "Young people are sleeping on the streets, their faces are as pale as if they are starving to death."

Chu Caiwu was less than two hundred years old, and she didn't want to starve to death, so she sat up lightly and wanted to ask for something to eat.

Chu Caiwu covered her right fist with her left hand, but found that it could no longer be covered. Every time she clasped her fist, it would penetrate. She pretended to cover her right fist with her left hand. Chu Caiwu imitated the shopkeeper, raised her head and lowered her eyes, and then begged repeatedly: "Excuse me, please give me something to eat."

The demon cultivator pouted his lips and said arrogantly: "Am I old enough to be a master?" The old man pouted and followed the queue stubbornly, walking forward.

Chu Caiwu failed in his first begging attempt and was even despised. It turned out that begging was worse than lying down. Chu Caiwu lay back down on the street, and his life was over today.

The earth began to shake with a loud bang, and Chu Caiwu was shocked to sit up. There were people fighting in front of him, and there was also chattering and shouting.

Chu Caiwu drifted over and saw a female demon cultivator picking up a demon clerk who was stamping a document from his seat. The demon cultivator roared, "Why are you taking so long to stamp, pretty boy?! Who sent you here to stamp? Which lust-obsessed demon girl promoted you?"

Chu Caiwu's ears were almost pierced by the sound, and he couldn't help but look at the pretty boy who stamped the seal curiously. He was too handsome to be a demon. The demon men Chu Caiwu saw were all big and strong with thick beards.

Chu Caiwu was a little close to the female demon cultivator, so he deliberately kept a distance and lay back down.

Several big demon men passed Chu Caiwu and surrounded the pretty boy who stamped the seal.
