Chapter 164 Huo Wuyou is as chaste as a jade

When she came to her senses, Xue Zhiyi discovered that Huo Wuyou had been staring at her for who knows how long.

Realizing that something was wrong with Xue Zhiyi, Huo Wuyou asked her, "What's wrong with you?"

Xue Zhiyi quickly concealed the strange look in his eyes: "It's okay, let's go to the brothel."

"What?" Huo Wuyou suspected that he didn't hear clearly, and saw Xue Zhiyi got out of the car and walked towards Chunfeng Tower in a dignified manner.

Huo Wuyou could only follow with a puzzled look on his face. Yan Gui looked at him as if he wanted to say something but still could only catch up quickly.

At the entrance of Chunfeng Tower, the women soliciting business, upon seeing someone approach, hurriedly leaned forward and said, "Sir! Please come in!"

There were two women who were almost hanging on Xue Zhiyi. She was still calm, but Huo Wuyou was not so calm. Those girls rushed over, pulling his clothes and touching his chin. Although he was uncomfortable, he could not hit the girls, so he could only tense his body and retreat step by step.

Yangui had probably never seen such a scene before. He scolded her a few times and finally drove away Hua Niang who was about to climb onto his neck and kiss him.

Seeing Huo Wuyou being entangled, he was about to draw his sword, but was stopped by Huo Wuyou: "Yan Gui, don't mess around."

Hearing this, Yan Gui could only suppress his hand that was ready to draw his sword.

Xue Zhiyi almost laughed out loud when she saw this. It was rare to see Huo Wuyou in such an embarrassing situation, and the gloom in her heart dissipated a lot.

She took out two small ingots of silver and gave them to the two flower girls hanging on her. The two happily took the reward and got down from her.

He then threw the purse to the group of Hua Niangs who were teasing Huo Wuyou and said, "We'll go have some fun on our own. Don't scare him."

She had been in this world of pleasure for several years, and now she was quite skilled in imitating those playboys.

Several prostitutes were amused by Huo Wuyou's youthful appearance. They chattered and divided the money among themselves, and did not forget to flirt with him before leaving.

Huo Wuyou finally breathed a sigh of relief after these people were finally dispersed.

His ears were reddening, and he couldn't help but complain to Xue Zhiyi, "Is this the right place for you? What kind of girl would want to hang out in a brothel?"

The two of them walked in together. Xue Zhiyi looked at him and said with a smile, "As a well-known playboy in Huajing, shouldn't Marquis Lin'an be a frequent visitor to places like this? Why are you so awkward?"

Huo Wuyou looked around vigilantly, making sure no one would get close to him. He tutted, "Don't talk nonsense. We in the Huo family have very strict upbringing."

He counted on his fingers, "There's gambling, horse racing, cricket fighting, competing in wealth, drinking, and listening to songs. There are so many ways to have fun. Who told you that you can only visit prostitutes?"

Xue Zhiyi listened, raised his eyebrows, and said nothing.

In her previous life, she had indeed never seen Huo Wuyou in Chunfeng Tower.

Huo Wuyou suddenly said, "Are you concerned about whether I am a virgin?"

“…” Xue Zhiyi was speechless.

Huo Wuyou was looking at her with anticipation.

Xue Zhiyi said indifferently, "It's just a casual question. My Lord, you are too concerned."

It was afternoon now, and there were only a few tables of guests. In the deserted hall, on the stage, a woman in red was dancing softly and gracefully to the sound of orchestra.

The waiter took the three of them to an empty table and sat them down. Before leaving, he kindly asked them if they wanted to order a flower girl to accompany them.

When Huo Wuyou refused, he was afraid that he would persuade him again, so he ordered their most expensive wine, which finally shut the waiter up.

"You didn't really bring me here to watch people dance, did you?" Huo Wuyou glanced at Xue Zhiyi.

She was staring intently at the stage. "It's a rare opportunity to leave the palace. Wouldn't it be nice to come here and have some fun and relax a little?"

She said, "Look at this Miss Jinqiao on the stage. She's a superb dancer and the most beautiful girl in Chunfeng Tower."

"How do you even know this? Did Xue Tingsheng come here often in the past?"

She knew this because Jin Qiao was an old acquaintance of hers. Actually, this Jin Qiao was quite an important figure. She had suffered a great loss from this person in her previous life.

Xue Zhiyi shook his head: "Xue Tingsheng used to be a self-proclaimed gentleman and looked down on women in the entertainment industry."

It was more than just contempt. In her past life, she had risked her dignity and prestige to gather evidence to exonerate the Xue family, freeing him from being the son of a guilty minister. Yet, Xue Tingsheng wasted no time in distancing himself from this "uninnocent" woman, fearing that her reputation would tarnish the Xue family's reputation and the gentlemanly virtues he was so proud of.

However, after all, Xue Tingsheng was just a self-proclaimed gentleman. He was afraid of people's gossip, so he never went to brothels, but he often touched the maids around him behind their backs.

"What about you?" Xue Zhiyi asked him back.

"Me?" Huo Wuyou didn't understand what she meant.

Xue Zhiyi herself was also a little baffled. Somehow, she suddenly wanted to ask Huo Wuyou this question: "You also seem to dislike this kind of place. You don't want the women here to get close to you, but you don't want Yang Gui to be rude to them."

"There's no contradiction between these two things," Huo Wuyou said. "Most of the women here are helpless and miserable. How bad could they be? Why treat them with contempt? That's why I refuse to be associated with those who desecrate them."

As he spoke, he suddenly nodded Xue Zhiyi's head again: "Have you been with those old coffins in the Xue family for too long? How come you can't even figure out this kind of problem?"

Huo Wuyou seemed particularly interested in her head. She brushed his hand away and said, "Let's talk business."

She looked towards the stage and said, "Look at the table closest to the stage."
