Chapter 1 I was fooled, this person is so annoying!

In Yuecheng at the end of August, the hot wind blew in with rolling heat waves, and the scorching sun made it impossible to open one's eyes.

"Niannian, have you arrived at your Aunt Lin's house?"

On the phone, Cong's mother sent greetings.

Cong Nian looked up at the deserted streets in the villa area, took a deep breath, put down his suitcase and started replying to messages.

I arrived at the door, but I still couldn’t find Aunt Lin’s house.

Just as it was about to be sent, another voice message came from Cong's mother.

"Hey, Nian Nian, Mom has an important meeting soon. Send me a message if you have anything."

The short voice message was interspersed with subtle conversations. Cong Nian slowly deleted the last sentence and re-edited it:

It's here. Don't worry, mom. Just get some rest.

Putting the phone back into the bag, Cong Nian continued walking forward dragging the suitcase.

Cong Nian has always been self-reliant towards her workaholic parents.

Even when they were transferred to the overseas head office for further studies for half a year and asked her to stay at the home of her mother's good friend Aunt Lin, she obediently accepted the arrangement.

Speaking of Aunt Lin, Cong Nian felt both familiar and unfamiliar.

I only vaguely remember that Aunt Lin had a son who was about the same age as her. I saw him from a distance a few times when I was a child. He was a chubby little boy with a runny nose.

Thinking of this, the corners of the girl's mouth rose slightly, and even her steps became much lighter.

But...where is Aunt Lin's home?

With his directionally challenged nature showing, Cong Nian really wanted to beat his chest and stamp his feet.

"Where is Building C... Building E... Building H?"

After dragging the suitcase around and around, beads of sweat appeared on his forehead and back. However, when he saw the familiar signpost in front of him, Cong Nian was completely overwhelmed.

Using her hands as a fan, her fair little face was flushed red by the heat, like a delicious peach.

"There's not even a small shop around here, and I can't even ask anyone for directions."

Looking around, the sun was scorching and the streets were empty.

Cong Nian was deflated. He took out his cell phone and was about to send a message to Aunt Lin, but out of the corner of his eye he caught a glimpse of a tall boy walking towards him from the corner ahead.

His skin is a pale wheat color, and he is wearing a black basketball uniform. His neat short hair is held down by a white baseball cap, and a brown basketball is casually tucked in his arm.

He was looking down at his phone and his face couldn't be seen clearly.

Opportunity is fleeting, once lost, it will never come back!

Cong Nian hurriedly dragged his suitcase forward to ask for directions.

She tidied up her hair, her eyebrows were curved, and two cute dimples appeared at the corners of her mouth.

"Hello, how do I get to Building H?"

The sweet and gentle voice seemed to quiet down even the noisy cicadas around.

However, the boy seemed not to hear it and walked past without even raising his head.

Cong Nian was confused, the smile on his lips froze, and his long eyelashes blinked rapidly a few times.

Was her voice too soft so no one else heard it?

"Hey, hello..."

Cong Nian caught up with the boy and softened her voice. Just as she gained her footing, she saw the other party looking at her.

The moment the brim of the hat was lifted, even someone like her who was not very obsessed with looks, felt her breath catch.

The slender almond-shaped eyes have slightly upturned tails, like a fox. The teardrop moles at the corners of the eyes are brown-red, which makes her look even more seductive!

Looks like a bad boy...

Cong Nian took a half step back, regretting that he had stopped the person in front of him to ask for directions.

"What's up?"

He Sui took off one of his earphones, looking impatient.

"Um... that, that..."

Perhaps it was because the other party's tone was too cold, Cong Nian suddenly felt a little timid.

He lowered his head and looked at his toes, even his words began to stammer.

He Sui's brows were furrowed into the shape of a "川" character, and his patience was finally exhausted.

He took his eyes off the girl's face, put on his headphones expressionlessly and was about to leave.

"I'd like to ask how to get to Building H?"

The moment they passed each other, Cong Nian grabbed the hem of the black basketball jersey and whispered in a voice as thin as a mosquito.

Help!

Why can this person's eyes be so scary? !

He Sui paused, his brows twitching slightly.

Building H?

He lowered his eyes and looked at the girl in front of him again, but he could only see the top of her hair.

What are you going to his house for?

To block him at his doorstep?

It's really persistent and annoying.

But she,

It seems like he doesn't recognize himself...

He Sui sneered.

He raised his hand and casually pointed to a location.

That's the exact opposite direction to Building H.

"Thank you! You are such a kind person!"

Cong Nian was delighted and thanked him repeatedly, then dragged her suitcase and trotted in the direction the boy pointed.

If she stays here any longer, she'll find a crack in the ground to crawl into!

He left in a hurry, not noticing the wicked smile of the person behind him.

"Tsk." How stupid.

He Sui looked away because of the vibrating phone. It was a call from his good friend Shi Yi, urging him to do something.
