There was a strange atmosphere in the restaurant.
Cong Nian lowered her head and fiddled with the hem of her clothes with her fingers, making it wrinkled.
He Sui sat opposite her, leaning back in his chair with his legs crossed like an old man, with a faint smile on the corner of his mouth, staring at her red ears without blinking.
Lin Shuangshuang was wandering around the living room, vacuuming the carpet and humming a song in a good mood.
It rained heavily today, and she went to He Yuning's company to deliver some documents. The vegetable vendors did not set up their stalls because of the heavy rain, and there were not many ingredients left in the refrigerator.
When she was debating whether to buy food somewhere else or cook it, He Sui kept clamoring for a hamburger, so she ordered takeout.
The nearest fast food restaurant was KFC, so she ordered a family bucket and noted that she didn't want salad dressing on the burger.
"Ding Dong."
The doorbell rang, it must be the takeaway.
"Go wash your hands quickly, dinner will be ready soon."
Lin Shuangshuang turned off the vacuum cleaner and walked towards the door, and the room became quiet.
He Sui stood up and saw that she was sitting steadily without moving, so he took a step forward and pulled her up.
"Are you unable to walk and need your brother to carry you?"
The ending tone rises, which sounds a bit ruffian-like.
Cong Nian didn't need to look up to know that he must be smiling triumphantly.
Glancing towards the entrance, Lin Shuangshuang was taking the bag from the delivery man and didn't notice them.
"I, I'll go by myself."
I walked quickly to the sink, where water was running from the faucet.
He Sui followed and stood beside her, with one hand on the platform.
"Are you shy?"
"you!"
Cong Nian blushed and her eyes widened.
She glared at him and lowered her head, her ears red, and she rubbed her palms hard.
"Auntie Lin is still here!"
She spoke softly, and out of the corner of her eye she saw Lin Shuangshuang walking inside.
"Oh~"
He Sui raised an eyebrow, bent down and leaned close to her ear, his warm breath blowing on her ear.
"You mean, it's okay as long as my mom isn't here?"
He turned around and shouted at the figure walking towards the door:
"Mom, go to He Yuning's place."
"No, no, no."
Cong Nian grabbed his arm and stood on tiptoe to cover his mouth.
The slender fox eyes were half-closed, curved into a small upward arc, a bit like the small bridge in front of the school building.
How can this person be so bad!
He clearly understood what she meant, but he pretended to be ignorant!
"Huh? What did you say? I didn't hear you clearly just now."
Lin Shuangshuang walked into the restaurant and put the things in her hand on the table.
He Sui's mouth was covered by her, so he couldn't speak and could only hum hesitantly.
Cong Nian held him tighter. Due to the height difference between the two, her body was almost half hanging on him.
He tilted his head and smiled at Lin Shuangshuang.
"He was just asking what Auntie did at Uncle's today."
Could her son be so kind?
Lin Shuangshuang glanced at He Sui suspiciously.
No one knows a child better than his mother. She knew very well whether He Sui could say this or not.
But the person who asked her was Nian Nian. Maybe the little girl was concerned about why she went out in such heavy rain?
Are you just too shy to ask directly, so you use He Sui as a shield?
Oh, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. If you want to care about her, just say it directly.
Lin Shuangshuang thought happily.
Unexpectedly, when she was not at home, the two children got along very happily.
Oh, if I had known this earlier, I would have accompanied He Yuning to work overtime in the company today, so that I wouldn’t have to be a 3,000-watt light bulb when I get home.
He laughed and sighed as he took things out of the bag, not noticing the wonderful scene of the two little ones staring at each other in front of him.
"Your uncle wanted to discuss a cooperation today, but he was in a hurry to leave in the rain this morning and took the wrong document bag. I just delivered it to him."
"Hey, luckily I am He Yuning's wife. I can be his strong support."
"Smart and capable, beautiful and generous, I'm a little envious of Lao He. With a wife like this, what else could a husband ask for!"
Perhaps narcissism is hereditary.
While Cong Nian was listening to Lin Shuangshuang talking, she also had to deal with He Sui's hand that was stretched out to tickle her.
But he still succeeded.
The slender fingers just touched the itchy spot on her waist.
“Puff.”
She couldn't help laughing out loud, her little face flushed red, and her hands softly grabbed He Sui's arms.
Lin Shuangshuang looked up when she heard the voice and smiled with her lips pursed.
Look, look, the flirting begins.
Cong Nian glared at him angrily several times, but saw that he raised his eyebrows and smiled like a cunning fox.
She remembered that He Sui was soft-hearted and would not tolerate toughness.
She put her mouth close to his ear and called out in a very low voice, "Brother."
The soft and sticky sound is very pleasant to hear.
It pricked his eardrums, causing the roots of his ears to turn red.
He Sui froze as expected.
"Brother, let go."
Cong Nian continued his efforts, grabbing her hand on the waist and pulling her to a safe distance.
It’s really itchy!
It’s a pity that he is not ticklish at all!
If she knew what he was afraid of, she would definitely bring it to him every day to scare him!
Humph, this is called giving someone a taste of their own medicine!
Huh? Why is Aunt Lin silent?
Cong Nian turned her head and saw that Lin Shuangshuang had already sat down and winked at her with a smile.
Suddenly, his face turned even redder.
It’s over. I was so focused on He Sui’s hand that I completely forgot Aunt Lin was here.
