Cong Nian pursed her lips and smiled, her smile a little flattering.
"By the way, brother, there is something I want to ask you."
The little girl raised her eyes, her eyes were moist and bright, and her voice was very soft.
I waited for his answer with great anticipation.
He acts like an elder brother when there is something to do, and congratulates you when there is nothing to do. If he is too attentive to you when there is nothing to do, he is either a traitor or a thief.
The little girl had a firm grasp on He Sui's heart.
"you say."
There was no surprise in He Sui's eyes, as if he had already expected her to ask him.
Cong Nian stopped being hesitant and waited until the math class representative took away her test paper. Then she dragged her little stool over and sat down next to him.
Both hands were placed on the knees, and the sitting posture was very well-behaved.
It was the end of get out of class and the classroom was a little noisy, so she had to speak closer so that he could hear her.
She reached out and tugged at the boy's sleeve, looking at him with her sweetest, loveliest, most innocent smile.
"Um...what I actually want to ask is..."
When the words came to my lips, I didn't know how to start.
Cong Nian pursed her lips, a hint of worry hanging between her brows.
She admitted that she was a little selfish.
On the surface, he was asking He Sui, but in reality, he wanted him to intervene, or in other words, he wanted him to help He He.
In the little girl's cognition, He He was originally an omnipotent being, capable of both literature and martial arts, like a green pine tree that remained upright under the thick snow in winter.
Many people had caused trouble before because He He's grades were too good and his personality was too popular among his classmates and favored by the teachers.
There will always be people who are jealous of her and make sour remarks or do childish things.
For example, putting bugs in He He's pencil case, or applying glue on a chair.
But those people were eventually dealt with by He He.
She was accustomed to thinking that almost no one could bully He He.
But what happened today made her realize that even though He He usually behaves very well, there will be a day when she will be bullied and feel very embarrassed.
If no one offends me, I will not offend anyone. If anyone offends me, I will punish him even though he is far away!
Her delicate back was straight, and her hands on her knees were clenched into fists.
Her red lips were tightly pursed into a line, and her trembling eyelashes revealed the girl's anxiety.
A rare glint of anger appeared in his clear eyes.
He Sui saw it all, but his expression remained nonchalant.
But a fog gradually gathered in my eyes, changing with each passing day, and I felt extremely distressed.
There was actually someone who would make the little girl he held in his arms so sad.
“It might be a little hard to say…”
Cong Nian took a deep breath, blinked, and suppressed the anger in his eyes.
God knows when she saw He He's appearance just now, her heart almost jumped out of her chest with fear.
She actually wanted to ask He Sui about what happened to Yu Xinghe today. Did he know any inside information?
For example, who did it, or why did it happen?
It can't be just out of jealousy!
Ever since He He returned to the classroom, He Sui's expression seemed to have guessed something.
It seems like nothing can be hidden from him.
"Want to ask about Yu Xinghe?"
He Sui answered first, his voice calm, as if he was looking down at everything from God's perspective.
Cong Nian nodded, and felt relieved when she heard He Sui say it on his own initiative.
"Well, it turns out I can't hide anything from you."
The little girl chuckled and looked a little silly.
I looked up at the clock on the blackboard in front of the classroom. The bell was about to ring, but He He had not returned from the infirmary yet, and the head teacher, Teacher Chen, had not returned to give any further instructions.
The curtains were drawn, and groups of students from other classes who passed by the windows in the corridor would slow down outside their class and look inside.
The next class is English. The final exam is approaching and the English teacher's temper is getting worse and worse.
He He had just angrily criticized her not long ago, and now she was mad at He He no matter how she looked at him. She would often deliberately give him questions to make things difficult for him during class.
Fortunately, He He's English is not bad, so she couldn't find any fault with her.
But He He is like a thorn in the English teacher's side.
It seems that He He won't be able to make it back for today's English class. I wonder what the English teacher will do with this.
She will stand firmly by He He's side and protect her!
Cong Nian was full of worries.
On the one hand, she was worried about what happened to He He, and on the other hand, she was worried that the troublemaker would come back again.
Fortunately, the sun was pouring in from the window and the sea looked calm.
But I just don’t know if it’s the calm before the storm.
She had only seen school bullying on TV news before, and most victims would give up the thought of living.
Never encountered it in real life.
She thought she was lucky, but she never expected such a thing to happen to her best friend.
Although she believed that He He was a very strong girl, she still couldn't bear to see her being bullied for no reason.
She wanted to do something for He He, even if it was just to seek justice.
