Chapter 8 Everyone's misunderstanding of He Sui is extremely deep

"No, I'm not familiar with him, how could I possibly hide something from you?"

Cong Nian grabbed the quilt and did not meet Yu Xinghe's eyes. Instead, he fixed his gaze on the insulated box that Yu Xinghe brought in.

"Let me see what my He He brought me?"

Yu Xinghe wanted to ask something else, but after hearing Cong Nian's words, he walked over with a smile.

"You are always the most active when eating."

"If you are not active in eating, there is something wrong with your thinking."

Cong Nian matched the little secret code that belonged only to her and Yu Xinghe.

In the lounge, two girls were laughing together.

"Oh, by the way, where are my previous clothes? Who helped me change?"

Thinking of He Suiyi's ambiguous smile just now, Cong Nian felt a little nervous for no reason.

"Your military training uniform is soaked. The school nurse and I changed you into pajamas."

Yu Xinghe scooped a bowl of soup and handed it to Cong Nian.

"I saw you fainted this morning, and I was worried that you wouldn't have a good appetite at lunch, so I asked my mom to make you some pork rib soup."

"I was worried you'd get bored staying in the lounge alone, so I bought you a new magazine when I passed by the newsstand."

"How about I treat you well?"

Yu Xinghe blinked and shook the book in his hand, almost writing "Praise me" on his face.

Cong Nian was amused and looked much better.

"Hehe~ You are still the best to me~"

"Of course I do. Don't you see how close we are? Come and try it and see if it tastes good."

Seeing that Yu Xinghe didn't ask any further questions, Cong Nian breathed a sigh of relief.

"So are you still going to military training this afternoon?"

After eating and drinking, Cong Nian leaned against the head of the bed and watched Yu Xinghe packing up and getting ready to leave.

"Oh, by the way, we left like that this morning. Didn't the instructor say anything? I hope you won't be punished again if you go back?"

"What can he say? He relies on his position as an instructor to punish students physically. Several girls in our class have fainted from heatstroke."

Yu Xinghe rolled his eyes.

"But I have good news for you."

"I don't know why, but we got a new instructor. I heard he's very Buddhist."

"As for you, just stay in the lounge and have a good rest. I'll come find you after the military training is over."

Yu Xinghe walked towards the door carrying the thermal box, joking as he walked.

"Hey, I also want to lie down and rest. It would be better if the military training ended sooner."

The door of the lounge closed, and Cong Nian thought about what Yu Xinghe had just said.

How come we have a new instructor on the second day of military training?

Did someone report this to the school?

But it’s better this way. The previous instructor was indeed a bit fierce, just like someone else.

Leaning against the head of the bed, Cong Nian opened the magazine that Yu Xinghe brought her, with a smile on her face.

He... doesn't seem as bad as he looks.

The sun was shining brightly through the window, and there was still some fine dust floating in the air.

The door of the lounge opened and closed, and another girl who fainted from heatstroke was supported by several people and lay on the bed next door.

The two beds were separated by a white curtain, and Cong Nian could only hear the sounds.

After a moment of silence, someone spoke. It was a girl.

"Was that person downstairs He Sui?"

He Sui?

Hearing the familiar name, Cong Nian couldn't help but prick up his ears.

What was he doing downstairs? Didn't he go to military training?

"I guess so? He's pretty notorious in school, pretty recognizable."

"I think he's arguing with an instructor. Looks like they're about to fight."

“Is this true?!”

"Oh my god, so violent! He even dared to hit the instructor?"

The girls behind the curtain were chattering about something, and Cong Nian's attention was drawn to the word "fight".

She inexplicably didn't believe it.

Although He Sui looks like a bad student, he shouldn't be the kind of person who would throw punches at every turn.

It seems that everyone's misunderstanding of He Sui is not ordinary...

Huh? Why is it so quiet all of a sudden?

While I was lost in thought, the lounge, which had just been bustling, fell silent.

Cong Nian looked up and found that He Sui had been standing at the end of the bed, with his face tilted to the side, as if thinking about something.

He was holding a black plastic bag in his hand and his expression was very unnatural.

He came here without saying a word and just stood there like a sculpture. It's so suspicious.

Cong Nian secretly criticized.

I don't know if he met He He when he came back. If he did...

"Why are you here? Didn't you go to military training?"

Seeing that he seemed to be hesitant to speak several times, Cong Nian broke the awkwardness.

"This is for you. I'm leaving."

A tied black plastic bag was thrown in front of her.

Come and go in a hurry.

Cong Nian didn't even have the chance to see He Sui's face, all that was left for her was his back.

"What the hell is this..."

Cong Nian was confused and looked at the black plastic bag in front of him.

What's inside?

After opening the bag and seeing what was inside, Cong Nian was a little surprised at first, and then a blush crept up her cheeks.
