This seemingly peaceful atmosphere continued until the day of the exam.
The monthly exams are taken in a random order for the entire first year of high school.
Cong Nian and Yu Xinghe were not in the same examination room, not even on the same floor.
After cheering each other up at the stairs, she was about to enter the examination room with her bag on her back when someone grabbed her bag strap and dragged her out.

Standing in front of him, Cong Nian raised her hand to block the glaring sunlight above her head, and narrowed her eyes.
