Chapter 98 Don’t be afraid, I’m here

"You two, don't you know that class is already underway?!"

The English teacher pushed the red glasses frame on his nose.

She remembered these two people, so she slowly walked down the podium and walked towards them.

There are only two types of students who can be remembered by teachers.

One is exceptionally good, the other is exceptionally bad.

Cong Nian and He Sui are obviously these two extremes.

Cong Nian had just taken a breath when he looked up and saw his English teacher walking towards him.

I was so scared that I almost choked again.

I couldn't swallow the candy in my mouth, but if I spit it out, she would find out. I was caught in a dilemma, and tears welled up in my eyes.

Woo woo woo, I should have known not to listen to him.

Now you're going to be criticized.

Cong Nian's seat was near the aisle. Vera stood beside her table and could smell the sweet smell of toffee with her sharp nose.

"Eating in class?!"

Vera was angry and her eyes switched back and forth between the two people's faces, as if trying to find out who was eating.

He clenched his fists and banged on her desk.

It made her heart beat violently "bang bang bang".

"Who is it?"

The classmates pursed their lips and looked secretly in their direction.

Cong Nian was closer and was a timid girl, so Vera took the initiative to attack her.

"Do you think you can ignore the teacher just because you got lucky and got a few perfect scores?"

"Go ahead and spit it out now, and I won't make a fuss about it."

Cong Nian pursed her lips, her face flushed red, and her throat moved.

Just as she was about to get up, He Sui was one step faster than her.

"It's me."

He Sui put his hands in the pockets of his school uniform pants, stirred the candy in his mouth, and smiled at her secretly with the corners of his mouth raised.

Just now when the English teacher came over, he picked up another candy on the table, peeled it and put it in his mouth.

By the way, put both candy wrappers on his desk.

Then he raised his chin and glanced at the short and fat English teacher in front of him.

"Getting a perfect score once might be a fluke, but getting perfect scores every time is not. Is it so difficult to acknowledge a student's excellence?"

Cong Nian raised her eyes, her eyes were wet and her eyelashes were stained with tears.

He was speaking for her and taking the blame for her.

The English teacher's chest was heaving with anger. He pointed at him and called him "you, you, you" for a long time. Finally, he pointed at the door and roared:

"Get out of here!"

He Sui shrugged indifferently, moved the stool away with his knees and walked out of the classroom.

Leisurely, like taking a walk, without any guilt.

Cong Nian stared blankly at his leaving back.

The door opened and closed, and the classroom became quiet again, with only the English teacher's heavy breathing remaining.

She patted her chest and walked towards the podium, saying as she walked:

"You are the most arrogant students in this class. You don't study hard, and you just think about how to talk back to the teacher every day."

None of the students in the audience looked up at her, letting her talk to herself.

Cong Nian still kept his head down, his heart pounding.

The bell rang and melodious music echoed in the classroom.

He Sui was tall, with most of his body hidden by the wall, with only a small bit of his profile visible through the window.

He turned his head and met her gaze.

They met far away in the air.

Cong Nian watched his lips move and said silently:

Don't be afraid, I'm here.

Then he raised his eyebrows and smiled at her.

This smile was both naughty and bad, and along with the sunshine, it shone into her heart.

It was obvious that she had no self-control and was the one who stole the candy. He took the blame for her and is now comforting her from afar.

Somehow I wanted to cry again, with a feeling of grievance lingering in my heart.

It seemed as if the confusion and sorrow that had been weighing on my heart for the past few days had vanished.

The class bell stopped ringing and the English teacher began to prepare to review the monthly test papers in the front.

Cong Nian took a deep breath, and his eyes became brighter and more determined.

She raised her hand, and the English teacher looked at her impatiently.

"What's the problem?"

Cong Nian stood up and said word by word:

"Teacher, I was the one who stole the candy just now."

He Sui saw it outside the window, but couldn't hear what she said.

Thinking she was answering the question, he curled his lips slightly and turned his head back.

The sun is still as glaring today, but he is in a good mood.

Even Geng Feiyu, who was also standing at the door as punishment, noticed it. He was about to tease him that he could laugh while standing there as punishment, but he immediately shut his mouth.

This is the big devil. If I make him angry, he will definitely beat me up.

He Sui narrowed his eyes and felt sleepy.

His eyes reflected the blue sky, white clouds and lush green leaves.

With a creaky sound, the back door of the classroom opened again.

He Sui thought that someone who didn't do well in the exam was kicked out, so he didn't turn his head to look.

Instead, he tilted his head back slightly, closed his eyes, and enjoyed the breeze blowing through the corridor.

Suddenly, someone touched his hand hanging by his side.

He Sui silently moved a step to the side.

However, the owner of that hand seemed too bold.

She actually held his little finger tightly.

The palms are soft, tender and moist.

This forced him to open his eyes and look over with a frown.

"Who told you to touch..."

I lowered my head and saw her still red face.

Her eyes were not looking at him, but staring straight at the green leaves on the camphor tree in front of her.

Her eyes were wet, her red lips were slightly pursed, with an upward curve, and there were two shallow dimples at the corners of her mouth.

He Sui was stunned for a moment.
