The doctor launched into a tirade against Xia Lan as soon as he entered the room.
Xia Lan had probably guessed Zhao Pandi's situation and nodded.

Xia Lan paused, taken aback by the doctor's words.
"Thank you... doctor?"
Xia Lan turned to look at Qin Yu. What was going on?
Qin Yu shrugged; he didn't know either.
“...My name is Wu Tianming.”
Wu Tianming glanced at Xia Lan.

"What did the doctor say? Am I going to die soon?"

Lu Wu said happily, and led Qin Yu and Xia Lan to the house he had been assigned.
