Everyone looked over. Xia Lan took his paper and then held up the raffle box in front of the man.
"That depends on your luck; whatever you draw is what you get."
Xia Lan smiled slightly.
"Young man, hurry up and smoke!"
"Yeah! Hurry up and smoke."
"Let's see what we can get."
The person watching the man urged him on.
The man looked at the tissue box in front of him, breathed a sigh of relief, and then pulled out a tissue.
Under everyone's gaze, the crumpled paper was unfolded. "A towel!"
"Congratulations to this comrade, you've won a towel!" Xia Lan announced loudly.
"Not bad!"
Upon hearing that it was a towel, many people's eyes lit up.
"Although all the prizes today are defective, they won't affect their usability! Most importantly, they're free!" Xia Lan shouted.
The word "free" is like a spell; some people quickly bought some random items and then went to Xia Lan's shop to participate in the lottery.
"Congratulations to this comrade! You've won toothpaste!" Xia Lan announced loudly.
Wow, there's toothpaste too!
"That's really great!"
"Oh dear, thank goodness my husband overheard people talking about a department store promotion on his way home yesterday. They said it was some kind of giveaway, with free gifts with purchases. I didn't expect it to be true!"
Those watching from outside the gate got excited when they saw that someone had actually won a free prize.
Even though it's a defective product, I can get a free tube of toothpaste, so who cares if it's defective or not!
