Chapter 464 Yuanyuan is fighting

Xia Lan understood the meaning behind Qin Yu's words.

"Did you discuss this with Dad yesterday? Did you deliberately teach our son how to fight yesterday?"

Xia Lan narrowed her eyes.

"When a man's place is ruined, he has to take matters into his own hands to get it back! If there's outside help, it's not truly his own."

Qin Yu shook Xia Lan's hand and explained to her.

“If you get a call from the teacher, come over here and invite Dad over too! Don’t waste your breath on them.”

Qin Yu had already guessed what would happen. After dropping Xia Lan off at her workplace, Qin Yu left.

Xia Lan was training her colleagues on how to serve customers when the phone rang. Sure enough, it was her teacher calling.

"Are you Qin Youyou's parent? I'm Ms. Li, the homeroom teacher. It's like this, your Qin Youyou and Qin Mo got into a fight with other students at school. Do you have time to come to the school?"

"I'm coming right now."

Xia Lan narrowed her eyes, gave a few instructions, and then grabbed her bag and rushed towards the school.

Upon arriving at the office of the elementary school in Beijing, Teacher Li looked at the older students who had been beaten, and then at Qin Youyou and Qin Mo, whose clothes were disheveled.

“Your parents are already on their way, and you still won’t tell us?”

Teacher Li looked at Qin Youyou and Qin Mo and thought they would be good children, but they got into fights with others in just two days.

Moreover, they are upperclassmen students.

Xia Lan knocked on the door.

"Please come in."

"Hello, Teacher Li. I am Xia Lan, the mother of Qin Youyou and Qin Mo."

Xia Lan shook hands with Teacher Li, who stood up to greet her, and then stood behind Tuantuan and Yuanyuan.

Seeing Xia Lan's Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan, they lowered their heads, not daring to meet Xia Lan's gaze.

"Ouch! My sweetheart, where did you get hurt? Let Mommy see!"

"Oh dear, the skin is all broken, the nose is swollen, and there are bruises!"

"Who dared to do such a cruel thing to my precious child? Teacher Li, what exactly happened? You must give me an explanation!"

"Look what you've done to my little chubby boy!"

A sharp voice came from afar, and a figure exuding nobility walked in, stood in front of the boy opposite, and looked at him with heartache.

Turning to Teacher Li, it was time to give an explanation.

"Liu Zihao's mother, please don't be angry. We need to ask the children why they fought..."

Teacher Li advised Liu's mother, saying that she still hadn't been able to find out why they were fighting.

Neither of the children would say a word, and she didn't know how to persuade them.

"What else could it be? They must have bullied my little darling! Call the police and have them arrested!"

Without saying a word, Liu's mother blamed Tuantuan and Yuanyuan.

"Liu Zihao's mother, it's not right for her not to know what happened between them before..."

Teacher Li said helplessly, while the other side stared wide-eyed.

“What’s wrong with that? My children were beaten like this, and look at them, they don’t have any injuries at all…”

Liu Zihao's mother glared at Tuantuan and Yuanyuan, while Xia Lan shielded the two children behind her.

"There must be a reason why someone is beaten. How can we not find out? Why is your child precious, but mine isn't?"

Xia Lan stood there, exuding an aura of majesty, as if she possessed an incomparably powerful force that controlled everything.

Although her tone was calm, one could vaguely detect an innate air of authority and the unconscious charisma that comes from someone who has long held a high position.

Liu Zihao's mother sensed Xia Lan's imposing aura and was taken aback.

"You...your child beat my child up like this, and you still have this kind of attitude!"

Her imposing presence was actually defeated by such a frail woman.

Liu Zihao's mother pointed at Xia Lan, her anger and embarrassment palpable.

"Tell me, why are you fighting!"

Xia Lan looked at Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan, signaling them to speak.

“Yesterday he wanted Yuanyuan’s little schoolbag and asked her to give it to him, but Yuanyuan refused, so he pushed her down.”

Yuanyuan didn't want to talk about it, but Tuantuan sensed Xia Lan's anger and, feeling guilty, told her the reason for what happened.

"Today he tried to snatch Yuanyuan's backpack again. Yuanyuan refused, so he tried to snatch mine. He pushed me down, and Yuanyuan got angry and pounced on him and beat him up."

Tuan Tuan explained to Xia Lan.

“Mom, Yuanyuan didn’t fight on purpose. He started it! And he even said that if Yuanyuan doesn’t agree, he will come and beat her every day.”

As soon as Tuantuan finished speaking, Liu Zihao's mother on the other side got angry.

"You're talking nonsense! You're so young and you already like to spout rubbish. My Liu Zihao has everything he could possibly want. Why would he want your shabby schoolbag?"

Liu Zihao's mother pointed at Tuantuan and said angrily.

"Speak your mind, don't point your finger randomly."

Xia Lan's eyes narrowed sharply as she looked at Liu Zihao's mother pointing at Tuan Tuan.

Startled, Liu Zihao's mother quickly pulled her finger back, fearing that if she didn't, her finger would be gone.

Xia Lan looked at Yuan Yuan.

"Is that what Tuantuan said?"

Yuanyuan nodded.

"I'm sorry, Mom, I shouldn't have fought."

Yuan Yuan was afraid that Xia Lan would be angry with him, so he took the initiative to apologize.

"You did nothing wrong, so why are you apologizing? I told you not to provoke trouble, but not to suffer in silence when you are treated unfairly. I'm glad you protected Tuantuan!"

"As for this fight, you did the right thing! No need to apologize."

Xia Lan's words surprised Teacher Li, who was standing nearby, and she felt that Xia Lan was wrong.

Hitting someone is wrong.

"Hey, how can you talk like that! How can you teach a child like that?"

Liu Zihao's mother glared at Xia Lan and demanded, "What do you mean by 'good beating'?"

"Then ask your son why he got into a fight with my son?"

Xia Lan sneered, telling Liu Zihao's mother to ask him herself.

"Hmph, it's his own fault for not giving me that backpack! I already said I was willing to pay for it, but he wouldn't!"

Liu Zihao pointed at Yuanyuan angrily.

"Son, it's just a worn-out backpack. Do you want Mom to buy you one?"

Liu Zihao's mother was surprised that it was really because of that schoolbag, and said to her son.

"I don't want it, I want his backpack, it has my favorite Calabash Brothers on it!"

Liu Zihao refused; he simply liked the Calabash Brothers on Yuanyuan's schoolbag.

Xia Lan glanced at Yuan Yuan's schoolbag. It had a picture of the recently released animated film, Calabash Brothers, on it. Yuan Yuan especially liked the seventh brother, so Xia Lan drew it for her and sewed it onto the schoolbag.

Unexpectedly, Liu Zihao set his sights on them.

"How much is your backpack? One hundred yuan, I'll buy it!"

Upon hearing her son's words, Liu Zihao's mother actually walked up to Yuanyuan and took out a hundred-yuan bill.

"Not for sale."

Yuan Yuan snorted coldly. This was specially made for him by his mother, and he would never sell it!
