Xia Lan chuckled and followed Wu Shishi back to the Wu family home.
"Dad, Mom, look who I've invited over as a guest!"
"Ta-da! Xia Lan is here! I've invited her to stay at our house for a couple of days."
Wu Shishi said happily, and pulled Xia Lan back home.
"Oh, Xiaolan!"
When Wu's mother saw Xia Lan, she happily hugged her.
"Xiao Lan?"
Wu Jianmin was sitting on the sofa when he turned around and saw Xia Lan. He immediately stood up.
"This is a rare guest! How long has it been since they last visited my home?"
Wu Jianmin greeted Xia Lan.
"Uncle, Auntie, I'm sorry to bother you."
Xia Lan smiled at them.
"Don't bother me. Since you're here, stay a couple more days."
Wu's mother pulled Xia Lan downstairs and happily placed a fruit plate in front of her.
"Come on, have some fruit."
"Thank you, Auntie."
Xia Lan smiled at Wu's mother.
"What's wrong? Did that brat Qin Yu bully you? You wait, Uncle Wu will get revenge for you!"
Wu Jianmin saw Xia Lan but not Qin Yu, and without saying a word, he concluded that Qin Yu had bullied Xia Lan.
"No, no, no... he didn't bully me."
Xia Lan quickly stopped her, saying that it was fine for her to make a fuss at home, but if others found out that she had a fight with Qin Yu for that reason, wouldn't she be incredibly embarrassed?
"That's good, that's good! Now that you're here, have a good time for a couple of days before you go back!"

Wu's mother was also happy.
"Thank you, Uncle and Aunt."
Xia Lan smiled.
"So having Lanlan means you can't see your own daughter anymore? I've been inside for so long, and not a single person has even invited me to sit down and have some tea..."
Wu Shishi said dejectedly.
