Qin Yu glanced at Xia Lan and asked with a smile.
"What are you doing?"
Xia Lan asked curiously.
“I collect mountain goods from one household to another, then transport them to town and sell them to people on the black market.”
Qin Yu told Xia Lan about his first trip to the black market when he was thirteen years old.
"It was that time that I learned that everything has value. It might be worthless in the village, but elsewhere, people would be willing to pay a high price for it."
"Where there is scarcity and demand, there will be a market."
“That was when I was thirteen years old. It was the first time I touched the threshold. Later, I started to work in the black market with my second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth brothers. Qin Yu said slowly.

Xia Lan chuckled. Clearly, that was the village chief, yet he had to listen to Qin Yu.
So that's where it all started.
"To put it nicely to outsiders, the people in the village aren't bad. After I joined the army, I directed my second and third brothers to open up all the surrounding areas. By the time I returned from my military service, we had already secured the sales channels."
Qin Yu spoke casually, but Xia Lan knew that things were definitely not as simple as he made them out to be. In that era, nothing was simple.
