The girl raised her eyes, and a strong joy suddenly burst out in her eyes. She ran barefoot towards Ban Xu who was standing at the door, "Brother!"
Not only was Ban Xu stunned, but even Steward Lin and Sister Chun, who were standing quietly by as a background, were stunned.
Ban Xu was the first to come back to his senses. He frowned and asked, "Why aren't you wearing shoes?"
Fortunately, his expression was always stern, so he didn't show any emotion. He bent down and took out a pair of disposable slippers from the shoe cabinet and threw them at the girl's feet, "Put on your shoes."

Pan Shu obediently opened the package and bent down to put it on.
Pan Xu was surprised at her obedience, his eyes flashed slightly, but in the end he didn't say anything.

Seeing her crying so pitifully, Pan Xu felt helpless and said, "Pan Shu, you brought this upon yourself."
Banshu slowly squatted down and raised her porcelain-white face full of tear marks.
"Brother, I don't want to like Song Ci anymore... I'm so tired, brother... I don't want to like him at all."
This crying made Steward Lin and Mrs. Chun feel heartbroken.
"Just think it through, Miss."
"Yeah yeah……"
Ban Xu sighed helplessly, "That's fine. Song Ci isn't right for you. Let's talk to Uncle Song and Aunt Song about calling off the engagement someday."
