At the dinner table, Lu Xiyu did not feel awkward at all as a guest at someone else's home. Her manners were elegant and polite, as if she was attending a high-society banquet.
Jiang Zhao put down his chopsticks and suddenly asked, "Are you her ex-boyfriend?"
Lu Xiyu drank the water slowly, his voice gentle and clear, "It's obvious."
Lu Chen paused and looked up at him.
The wet eyes were as cold as if they were dipped in ice water.
Lu Xiyu stared at Lu Chen with interest for a long while, "I remember you. You were the little mouse who always hid in the corner and spied on others."
And he always carries injuries.
Lu Chen's breath hitched, and he subconsciously looked at Ban Shu's expression, but found that she was absent-minded and didn't notice his words at all. He then breathed a sigh of relief.
"I've never heard of my sister being in love." Jiang Zhao said calmly.
The boy's hostility was so clumsy and clear.
Lu Xiyu just wanted to laugh.
The young man in front of her with a proud look on his face was indeed too pampered by her.

Lu Xiyu also stared at her nonchalantly, with a look of pure anticipation, but more of a dangerous undercurrent surging in her eyes.

After a while, spring came and the weather warmed up. Panshu wanted to ease the relationship between the two brothers, so she drove them to the suburbs to relax and booked three homestays online in advance.
Jiang Zhao didn't want to see Jiang Chen, so he picked up his luggage and went straight into his room.
Jiang Chen followed behind Ban Shu, being so well-behaved and obedient that it made people feel distressed.
Pan Shu knew that Jiang Zhao was angry, so she ignored him.
I handed Jiang Chen's room card to him and said, "You will stay in the room next to Jiang Chen. It's late now. Go to bed early. I will take you to a picnic tomorrow."
"Yeah." Jiang Chen nodded obediently.
Banshu didn't bring much with her, so Jiang Chen helped carry Banshu's things to the room and put them away before he went back to the room with his own backpack.
Pan Shu looked at the tall and straight back of the young man, thinking about something.
After driving for a whole day, Panshu was a little tired and soon fell into a deep sleep.
In the middle of the night, I suddenly heard someone shouting in panic in the corridor, "Fire! Fire!"
Then there was the sound of collapsing beams.
Pan Shu was awakened and opened the door, only to see several nearby rooms engulfed in flames. The flames were raging and the heat wave that hit her face made her subconsciously close her eyes.
The fire burned more fiercely.
Jiang Chen was awakened by the thick smoke.
In the raging fire, the scorching temperature made a thin layer of sweat appear on his forehead. He hurriedly got out of bed to save Pan Shu, but because he moved too hastily and too quickly, he was tripped by the burning and collapsed beams, and a piece of flesh was rubbed off on the palm of his hand.
But he didn't care about these, "Sister!"
"Sister, where are you?"
A huge panic overwhelmed him.
Nothing can happen to my sister.
"Sister! I'm Jiang Chen, don't be afraid! I'm here to save you!"
He ran barefoot in the sea of fire, the scorching flames burning his flesh, the thick white smoke making his eyes sore and almost unable to open. The boy's soft and clean voice now seemed to be mixed with sand and gravel, hoarse and rough.
With a loud "boom".
A burning piece of roof board fell straight towards Jiang Chen.
The intense pain drained all the color from his face. Tears rolled down his cheeks, but he still screamed with all his might, "Sister... Sister..."
Pan Shu finally heard the boy's faint cry.
She turned her head and met Jiang Chen's red eyes.
The boy's eyes lit up, not caring about the tears on his face, "Sister!"
