Butler Chen had prepared the meal well in advance. He was very happy to know that Lin Wanxing had returned, so he had someone make the dishes that Lin Wanxing liked in advance.
"Get up and have breakfast." Shen Huai'an nudged him, and Lin Wanxing quickly grabbed his hand and climbed out of bed.
After washing up, it was time to eat. Butler Chen thoughtfully prepared his favorite steamed buns for Lin Wanxing.
Lin Wanxing hadn't had breakfast at home in a long time and had been craving it.
He got dressed and went to the restaurant with Shen Huai'an.
In the restaurant, Shen Huai'an kept stirring the chicken porridge in his bowl with a spoon. He said, "Xingxing, I have something to tell you."
"What is it?"
After thinking for a moment, Shen Huai'an decided to speak up, "I plan to leave the Shen Group, or rather, leave the Shen family."
Lin Wanxing took a big bite of the hot bun and asked incredulously, "Why?"
"Second brother, why did you leave the Shen family? Shen Taimin is no longer here, why did you choose to leave on your own initiative?"
Lin Wanxing's thought process has always been very simple. He believes that since Shen Taimin has left, his second brother has no rivals and no one can stop him from becoming the successor.
Second Brother has worked so hard to get to where he is today. Even Shim Tae-min and the old lady can pose a threat to him. Everything is developing in a positive direction. Why would Second Brother leave at this time?
Leaving now would be doing someone else a favor, and that would be such a loss. Second Brother has done so much for the group and the Shen family, why would he leave now?

"The reason I've stayed with the Shen family and the group all these years is because of Shen Taimin and the old lady. They say you have to stand up for yourself, even if you don't steam buns. They treated me like that back then, trying every means to make me leave, but I just wouldn't let them have their way."
"Now that Shen Taimin has been expelled from the Shen family, I want to leave the Shen family after I've settled things with the old lady."
“The Shen family is really not a place for us to stay for long. I feel uncomfortable seeing the old lady and the others too much. It’s not that I’m narrow-minded, I just don’t want to see them anymore, and I don’t want to have any chance to meet those people.”
All Shen Huai'an wanted was for Shen Taimin to be expelled from the Shen family and lose everything, and for the old lady to apologize to him and his deceased parents.
The old lady knew what happened back then; it was because Shim Tae-min colluded with outsiders that her parents passed away.
The old lady pretended to know nothing and then secretly helped Shim Tae-min.
Shim Tae-min was the most useful pawn she held in her hands. Over the years, Shim Tae-min had really been like a grandson, always following the old lady around and showing a filial appearance.
Shen Huai'an understood what the old lady was thinking.
She was afraid that once she became the heir, he would immediately cause trouble for her, which is why she tried every means to stop herself.
Unfortunately, no matter how much Shim Tae-min helped him, he was destined to fail.
He was too arrogant and overconfident, so it's only natural that he fell down; he paid the price for his self-righteousness.

Shen Huai'an had been struggling with this matter. He didn't have direct evidence pointing to Shen Taimin after his parents' car accident, but he knew in his heart who the real culprit was.
So many years have passed, it's very difficult to find any evidence anymore.
He didn't want to dwell on those things anymore; after all, Shim Tae-min's current fate was the best retribution he could ever hope for.
The old lady knew everything, but she pretended to be deaf and dumb, and even helped Shen Taimin to harm her. Such a vicious person should kneel down and repent to her.
After finishing his meal, Lin Wanxing put on his frog raincoat. He didn't want to use an umbrella, because his second brother would always share one with him and then quietly tilt the umbrella towards him, getting himself soaked.
They have more than one umbrella, why are they doing all this?
Moreover, he doesn't like umbrellas. He feels that wearing a raincoat gives him freedom, and he doesn't have to hold up his arm to use an umbrella.
Seeing Xingxing wearing that light green frog raincoat, what could Shen Huai'an say but praise Lin Wanxing for being cute?
"Second brother, why did you come to the cemetery after your parents passed away? Doesn't the Shen family have windows?" Lin Wanxing asked curiously as she followed Shen Huai'an.
“The Shen family has a rule that those who died unexpectedly, like my parents, cannot be enshrined in the ancestral hall.” Shen Huai’an and Lin Wanxing went to the cemetery in the suburbs.
Lin Wanxing was very bold. He quietly followed Shen Huai'an the whole way, while Shen Huai'an held a bouquet of flowers and kept walking forward.
He walked for an unknown amount of time before finally stopping. He squatted down in front of the tombstone and put down the bouquet of flowers he was holding.
