Ah Xue pretended to be calm. Before she even reached the court, Lin Wanxing chased after her with his dog.
The stadium gates were locked, so even if she ran over, it would be no use.
Lin Wanxing frowned, his smile freezing on his face. He seemed angry because Xue wouldn't play with him. His dark eyes stared straight at Xue. "Why did you suddenly stop playing with me?"
He gripped Allen's leash tightly, his voice suddenly turning cold: "Do you think I'm stupid, so you were just lying to me when you said you wanted to play with me?"
His voice was cold, like an unmelting thousand-year-old ice in the dead of winter, capable of freezing a person to death in the cold.
Allen grew increasingly agitated, slamming his sharp claws down on the lawn with all his might. His mouth was practically drooling as he grinned, and Ah Xue had clearly become Allen's prey.
Ah Xue was terrified that the dog would break free and pounce on her. When she met Lin Wanxing's dark eyes, she felt inexplicably uneasy.
She felt the dog was about to pounce on her, and her voice began to tremble. "Young master, I had no such intention. I just remembered that I had other things to do."
Ah Xue didn't expect the dog to obediently let Lin Wanxing hold its hand. According to her plan, once she took Lin Wanxing to the court, the dog would go crazy and chase after him, while she would take the opportunity to leave.
It's not a normal thing for a rabid dog to bite a fool who wandered onto the field. No one would suspect her.
Ah Xue's plan was flawless; she never expected that vicious dog would listen to Lin Wanxing.
The situation is now completely reversed; she is about to fall into danger as a vicious dog goes berserk and tries to pounce on her. Fortunately, Lin Wanxing has a leash.
Ah Xue rolled her eyes; she immediately knew how to fool this fool.
This fool only cares about having fun and eating.
"Young master, didn't you want to eat cake? I'll go buy you a cake now, so you don't have to wait for the kitchen to make it. Besides, cakes outside are a hundred times tastier than those at home."
Lin Wanxing curled his lips, his smile was different from before, this smile was particularly cold.
"All I want to do right now is play games with you. I don't want any cake. Didn't you bring me here to play games with me?"
Lin Wanxing casually led Allen closer to Ah Xue, and Allen stuck out his tongue and bit Ah Xue a few more times.
Startled, she hunched her shoulders, her body trembled, and she involuntarily closed her eyes.
Lin Wanxing led the dog around her once. Ah Xue bit her lip, feeling the dog getting closer and closer. The sound of the dog's breathing made her heart clench.
She stood frozen in place, too scared to move. Partly from fear, and partly from the fear that if she moved, the dog would suddenly pounce and bite her.
She was wearing an extremely thin gauze dress, and she became more and more frightened as the dog approached.
Lin Wanxing finally stopped behind her. He smiled and said calmly, "You're really strange. You were so eager to bring me here to play just now, but now you're in such a hurry to leave. Are you playing me?"
Lin Wanxing tugged hard on the leash, forcing Allen to his feet. He loudly questioned Xue, "You almost pushed me over just now, why did you push me?"
A gentle breeze caressed her face, and the flowers by her ears swayed precariously in the wind. The boy smiled as always, but Ah Xue had no heart to look anymore.
Ah Xue lowered her head and quickly explained, "I...I didn't mean to, young master, please don't hold it against me."
"Young master, please forgive me, I really didn't mean to." As she spoke, her voice even trembled with tears. She seemed very aggrieved, as if she hadn't done anything wrong and that Lin Wanxing was deliberately making things difficult for her.
She's really good at making excuses. She pushed herself so hard, it was obviously intentional, but she just casually said it wasn't intentional and tried to brush it all off.
Lin Wanxing suddenly laughed and asked, "Do you really think I'm deaf?"
"What?" Ah Xue looked terrified.
Lin Wanxing looked at her and continued, "Have you already forgotten what you said behind my back so quickly?"
"The idiot you're talking about is probably me, isn't it?"
"You think I'm stupid? I'm not stupid, I'm just a little slow to react."
Lin Wanxing looked a bit strange, and Ah Xue had no way to defend herself now, so she really didn't know what to do.
Lin Wanxing also reached out and pushed her, then slowly turned to face Xue and looked at her.
He simply watched her quietly. He wasn't angry, nor did he show the fury that Ah Xue had imagined. He just watched quietly, doing nothing, but he still gave off a chilling feeling.
Lin Wanxing took a deep breath. "It's okay, our game has only just begun."
He suddenly released the leash, and Allen, now free, immediately sprinted to Ah Xue's side.
Full of energy, it pounced on her and knocked her to the ground. Xue was terrified and couldn't help but scream. Lin Wanxing watched all this with a cold expression.
Lin Wanxing looked at Ah Xue rolling around on the lawn and said, "Look, isn't this the game you've always wanted to play? I know you so well. Since you want to play, I'll have Allen play with you."
Ah Xue fell to the ground, crying and shouting, "Lin Wanxing, you idiot, get this dog out of here right now!"
Given the current situation, Ah Xue was too lazy to keep up the pretense.
She bluntly called him an idiot, which greatly surprised Lin Wanxing.
“Alan likes playing with you, and there’s nothing I can do to persuade him otherwise.”
