Chapter 114 Willing to Take the Bait

Shen Huai'an didn't say anything, only that he was tired, but Lin Wanxing felt that he had something on his mind, otherwise his second brother would never act like that.

He couldn't figure out what could be making his second brother so unhappy.

Lin Wanxing sat on the lounge chair on the balcony, feeling quite troubled.

He took out the pair of custom-made rings, carefully examining the patterns on them. He leaned on the small table, looking somewhat worried, and murmured to himself, "Will my second brother like this gift?"

Giving this gift seems too forward, especially since their wedding date hasn't been decided yet.

Giving a fountain pen as a gift is the only reasonable choice.

My second brother didn't eat dinner at home. He brought me back in the afternoon and then left in a hurry, saying that he had something urgent to attend to and that's why he was able to come back in the evening.

Butler Chen said that Second Brother was dealing with work-related matters, and Lin Wanxing guessed that the reason Second Brother was unhappy was probably because of this.

Another place, a bustling entertainment complex.

Sparkling crystal chandeliers, clinking glasses, all sorts of people coming and going, sexy women carrying champagne strolling through the crowd, and luxury cars parked everywhere.

This is a den of iniquity outside Jiangcheng. Stepping into this place will make you experience extreme pleasure and pain, and you can step into heaven or hell at any time.

As I climbed the gilded staircase, the dazzling crystal chandeliers illuminated the gleaming gold chips and the magnificent building.

Countless men and women are happily laughing at the table with their chips in hand, deeply immersed in a life of extravagance and debauchery, which can lead to a loss of self.

Shen Huai'an, dressed in a gray overcoat, sat upright in the back, one hand resting lightly on the car window. The brand-name watch on his wrist gleamed in the night. As the car drove along, countless lights and shadows swept across his face, and the fleeting light from his glasses illuminated his cold eyes.

Shen Huai'an stared blankly at the scenery outside the window.

Zheng Hu was driving when he glanced at Shen Huai'an through the rearview mirror and couldn't help but sigh.

"I'm a very vengeful person. I'll secretly remember even the slightest difficulty someone puts me in, while pretending to be tolerant and magnanimous on the surface, waiting for an opportunity to get revenge."

“I heard that Fang Ze likes to go to some entertainment venues, so I’ve been waiting for him.”

"I was going to let him off the hook, but he really doesn't know what's good for him."

Shen Huai'an couldn't wait any longer. How could Fang Ze learn his lesson if he wasn't taught a lesson?

“I’m an uncle myself, so I shouldn’t be bothered with these younger people. But I never care about those things. If I remember someone makes me uncomfortable, I’ll make them uncomfortable too.”

In Shen Huai'an's mind, there was no such thing as juniors or elders. Back then, Shen Zhiting was rude, and he still ended up sending her to the hospital. Sure enough, Xiaoting is much more sensible now.

The luxury car arrived at its destination with a turn, and the valet immediately ran over when he saw Shen Huai'an's car, respectfully helping Shen Huai'an out of the car.

"Mr. Shen, you can leave the car to me."

Zheng Hu handed the car keys to the valet, and someone immediately came out, bowed to Shen Huai'an, and led Shen Huai'an and Zheng Hu inside: "Mr. Shen, please come in."

All the male employees here wear uniforms, and they are all trained martial arts practitioners. Even the parking attendant is no ordinary person.

Shen Huai'an walked forward step by step with his cane, and followed the staff and Zheng Hu to a private room on the second floor.

There was only one person in the private room playing video games. He was wearing a casual tracksuit, his hair was cut very short, he had a cigarette in his mouth, and his hands were frantically fiddling with the game console.

He stared intently at the game console, his hands and feet fidgeting, a wicked smile playing on his lips. The game console's music was jarring, and colorful lights reflected on his face.

Suddenly, a pair of sharp phoenix eyes looked over. His aura was terrifying. Unlike Shen Huai'an's gentle and refined demeanor disguised as venom, his ruthlessness was evident from the inside out.

He said in a hoarse voice, "Why did it take you so long, Mr. Shen? I thought you weren't coming."

"Why didn't you come? We made an appointment, why didn't you come?"

Shen Huai'an slowly walked over and sat down at the mahjong table. He surveyed the private room, which was full of cameras.

"Damn it, I lost again!" He stood up and took all the game tokens out of his pants, dumping them all in with a splash, and the music started playing again.

"Want to play a game together?" Lu Wenlun turned his head to look at Shen Huai'an. Whenever he saw this person, he always had an elegant and composed demeanor. As expected of a young nobleman from a wealthy family, he was quite different from them.

"No, I don't really like playing these things," Shen Huai'an replied casually after glancing at the screen.

Zheng Hu stayed by his side at all times. Lu Wenlun scoffed, slowly stood up, a cigarette dangling from his mouth. He stubbed it out with his bare hand and said with a forced smile, "To be honest, I think you're really pretentious."

Shen Huai'an looked at Lu Wenlun carefully, "Given my current situation, pretending might have some advantages."

As he spoke, Shen Huai'an slowly stood up, straightening his body little by little, and walked gracefully toward Lu Wenlun.

Shen Huai'an sat down in front of another game console, "I'll play with you for a while."

Lu Wenlun gave him all the game coins he had, and Shen Huai'an immediately put in a few. His eyes were fixed on the flashing screen, and his hands began to move along with the screen.

Before long, the game machine started spitting out coins. Lu Wenlun smiled and said, "You have some talent."

"He has no talent, just a bit of brains," Shen Huai'an said sarcastically.

"Is everything arranged?" Shen Huai'an asked.
