Chapter 109 I Won't Let You Go

After receiving Qin Weiwei's call, Mingdai silently waited for Mo Tingchuan to come to her door.

I thought it would be at least noon, but Mo Tingchuan called at 10 a.m.

Mingdai stared at the ringing phone for a long time but didn't answer it.

Mo Tingchuan had little patience and barged headlong into the He family villa.

The housekeeper said that Mingdai was not present.

Mo Tingchuan didn't believe it and, ignoring the housekeeper's attempts to stop him, insisted on running upstairs.

But someone on the third floor blocked his way, so he couldn't go up.

"Get out of my way!"

Mo Tingchuan raised his fist as if to hit someone.

"Young Master Mo, Miss Ming is really not home."

The butler, not wanting to cause any trouble, hurriedly caught up and grabbed Mo Tingchuan's clothes.

The butler was panting heavily.

"Miss Ming went out early this morning. To be honest, it seems she has started working recently and is very busy all day long."

work?

Where does she work?

Since marrying Mo Tingchuan, Mingdai has never worked a single day, and there has never been any news of her working before.

Why did you lie to me? Where is she?

Unable to find anyone, Mo Tingchuan could only vent his anger on the steward.

The housekeeper was helpless.

“Young Master Mo, as Miss Ming’s husband, if you don’t know anything about her, how could I possibly know?”

Several bodyguards rushed over, ready to attack Mo Tingchuan at any moment.

The butler raised his hand to stop him.

He spoke to Mo Tingchuan in a polite tone, "Young Master Mo, given what happened before, you would probably need Third Master's permission to come to the villa again. Letting you in today is already very irregular, and I hope you won't make things difficult for me any further."

The butler's words made Mo Tingchuan lose face completely.

He was in a bad mood and couldn't help but argue back.

"I wasn't there when it happened before, so is Uncle going to hold a grudge against me?"

The housekeeper was embarrassed.

“Young Master Mo, even though you’re not here, your mother and sister represent you. Besides, I’ve already stated that I’m determined to take you away.”

The housekeeper was worried that Mo Tingchuan would take this opportunity to stay at the villa again.

Mo Tingchuan drove away in a fit of rage.

When Mo Tingchuan couldn't get through to Mingdai on the phone, he concluded that Mingdai was feeling guilty.

He wanted to find Mo Qingying to get some answers, but Mo Qingying had also disappeared without a trace.

In the end, Mo Tingchuan could only contact Ming's father.

Unaware of the situation, Ming's father naturally told Mo Tingchuan the truth about his daughter working at the company.

Mo Tingchuan stormed into Ming Dai's office.

It was close to lunchtime.

Everyone in the office was startled when Mo Tingchuan stormed in looking fierce.

Mingdai saw him too.

He slowly finished the last sip of water in his thermos before getting up, saying goodbye to the assistant, and leaving the office first.

To avoid making a fool of herself, Mingdai stepped into the elevator to go downstairs.

"Mingdai".

Mo Tingchuan couldn't wait any longer. He grabbed Mingdai's wrist and pulled her back to the elevator door.

Mingdai suddenly found herself with one foot outside the elevator and the other inside.

The elevator doors issued a warning.

Mingdai frowned and angrily rebuked Mo Tingchuan.

"Have some sense of propriety; so many people are watching."

Mo Tingchuan was also furious. After Mingdai spoke, he subconsciously let go.

The two went downstairs together.

A deserted corner.

Mingdai crossed her arms and stared indifferently at Mo Tingchuan, who was trying his best to suppress his anger.

"What’s wrong with you?"

Mingdai pretended not to know anything, "You coming here to find me like this probably isn't a good thing."

Mo Tingchuan gritted his teeth, his jaw clenched.

When did you start working here?

Does he still care about this?

Mingdai raised an eyebrow, finding it amusing.

"What? I can't go to work?"

"Did you tell Qingying the combination to my safe?"

Finally, we got down to business.

Mo Tingchuan's expression was fierce, as if he wanted to devour Mingdai alive.

What are you saying?

Mingdai was incredulous. "How could I know your safe's combination?"

"We set it up together!"

Mo Tingchuan growled in a low voice, "Don't tell me you know nothing."

Mingdai looked frightened; her face turned pale.

"What exactly happened? What do you think I know? And what am I supposed to know?"

"Stop pretending!"

The moment Mo Tingchuan learned that the house had been sold, he already guessed that Ming Dai had been behind it.

Mingdai was still bewildered. "What did I pretend to be? Can you explain yourself clearly?"

"Only the two of us know the combination to the safe. If you hadn't told Qingying, how could she have opened my safe?"

Mo Tingchuan couldn't accept that Mingdai could be so heartless.

"You watched her sell my house, worth millions, for half price. You know how hard it was for me to earn that money, so why did you do it? Why?!"

Mo Tingchuan couldn't bear this blow. It was a double betrayal from Mingdai and his sister, an outcome he had never imagined.

"Your house?"

Mingdai was taken aback, and it took her a while to realize what was happening before she stared at Mo Tingchuan with lingering fear.

Do you have other houses?

If it weren't for her investigation, and if it weren't for He Yaonian's help, she probably would never have known about Mo Tingchuan's assets, which he never intended for her to know.

"Mo Tingchuan, how many things have you been hiding from me?"

Mo Tingchuan wanted to hold her accountable, so she would let him know how shameless he was.

"If you hadn't just said that, I would have known you had other houses. If Mo Qingying hadn't sold your house, were you planning to keep it a secret from me forever?"

“No.” Mingdai shook her head again. “You never intended for me to know. If it weren’t to show off to me, if it weren’t to deliberately disgust me, you would have kept Qin Weiwei a closely guarded secret.”

Mingdai laughed sadly, her grief reaching its peak.

"What right do you have to yell at me like that? Given your wariness of me, do you think you would still keep the password we set together? When did you change it and when did you tell anyone? Now you don't want to admit it, so you're going to cause me trouble? Do you think I'm stupid?!"

Mingdai was also angry, her little face turning ashen with rage.

"Let me tell you, Mo Tingchuan, I have no interest in your affairs anymore. If possible, I want a divorce right now. You understand what a divorce is!"

After venting her frustrations, Mingdai was about to leave.

Mo Tingchuan forcibly pulled her back.

"I'm asking you one last time, is it really what you said?"

Mingdai forcefully shook off his hand, "Let go!"

"Tell me the truth, did you say that?"

"Ask your sister; she knows best where she got the password."

How could Mingdai possibly admit it?

Even if Mo Qingying came to her, she would know nothing.

"Mingdai".

Mo Tingchuan released Mingdai, but his tone was sinister and terrifying.

“I admit I made some mistakes, and although I’ve tried to make amends, you’ve never given me the slightest chance.”

Mo Tingchuan gave a dangerous, cold laugh.

"If I find out that you really told Qingying the password, I won't let you off the hook."
