safety?
How could Mo Qingying possibly care about Mingdai's safety?
She hoped that Mingdai would suffer a bad thing and be crushed, so that she would never be able to swagger in front of her again.
"What safety could you possibly have?"
Mo Qingying looked Ming Dai up and down.
"If something really happened, would you still be standing here unharmed?"
"You heard that, didn't you?"
Mingdai stopped arguing with Mo Qingying and looked at Mo Tingchuan instead.
“It was your sister who tricked me into going out with sweet words, got me drunk, and then abandoned me in the bar. If I hadn’t run into He Xingye that night, I would probably be ruined by now.”
Under Mingdai's sorrowful gaze, Mo Tingchuan was only startled for a brief two seconds by what had happened that night.
He then asked, "So the password was indeed given to her by you, right?"
Mingdai was filled with despair, her face turning pale and filled with unbearable pain.
"I don't."
"She's the one who told me."
Mo Qingying was afraid that Mo Tingchuan wouldn't believe her.
She anxiously grabbed Mo Tingchuan's arm and shook it to prove it to him.
“If she hadn’t told me, how could I have opened your safe?”
"I didn't say that."
Mingdai shook her head. "Besides, I don't know what your secret is."
"At this point, do you think my brother will believe you if you don't admit it?"
When Mo Qingying first tried to get the password from Ming Dai, she had already thought that if the truth ever came out, she would drag Ming Dai down with her to hell.
"He never believed me."
Mingdai shook her head miserably, her little face showing utter disappointment.
"Believe it or not, I never gave out the password. If you insist on pinning it on me, there's nothing I can do."
"I think you're acting like this because you've run out of things to say."
Mo Qingying was smug.
"Brother, now you should understand, right? She orchestrated everything. I just happened to be her pawn. It's my fault for being stupid and not seeing through her scheme immediately."
Mingdai stared at Mo Tingchuan.
"You know better than anyone how audacious your sister is. If what she says is true, does that mean I was the one who orchestrated her setting such an exorbitant price for the jewelry?"
Mo Qingying's expression changed.
"Brother, she's just making excuses."
Mingdai was neither humble nor arrogant.
"She wants to make friends in high society, she wants to use jewelry to build relationships, she wants to rise to the top in one fell swoop—can I plan all of these things?"
"Mingdai".
Mo Tingchuan interrupted Mingdai's explanation.
"The password is known only to the two of us. You've really hurt me."
Mingdai smiled.
"So no matter how I explain, you're convinced I did it, aren't you?"
"I told you I wouldn't let you off the hook."
Mingdai has seriously crossed Mo Tingchuan's bottom line.
Nothing in this world can shake Mo Tingchuan's interests.
"Mingdai, you asked for this."
Mo Tingchuan pulled Mo Qingying away.
Mingdai was restless upon returning to her job.
When Ming's father returned from his trip, he learned that Mo Tingchuan had come by.
He had to call his daughter into his office for questioning.
"What brings Tingchuan here?"
He heard from his assistant that Mo Tingchuan looked very upset.
Although Ming's father was easygoing, he had long sensed that there was a problem in the relationship between his daughter and Mo Tingchuan, but he dared not ask in detail, fearing that his daughter would overthink things.
“His sister found a boyfriend, and he thought I was the one who introduced them, so he came over to ask about it.”
Mingdai's words are pure nonsense; as long as it gets by, it's fine.
Ming's father was surprised.
"Does he think your introduction wasn't good?"
Mingdai saw that her father believed her.
He looked distressed.
"No, it's his sister who found someone he wasn't satisfied with. His sister was afraid he would get angry, so she dragged me out to try and get me to take the blame for her."
Ming's father remained silent.
"I've never heard of his sister being so unreliable before."
"That's what I mean. Maybe love makes people blind. Anyway, I've already made it clear to him that this has nothing to do with me."
Upon hearing that love can make people blind, Ming's father recalled how his daughter had insisted on marrying Mo Tingchuan.
That's absolutely right.
After get off work, Mingdai went back to the villa to pack her things.
Aside from some clothes, there wasn't much else to take with me.
When she moved into the He family villa, she didn't bring anything with her; everything was prepared by the He family.
Now that we're moving out, I naturally feel a great sense of relief.
Mingdai was carrying a suitcase downstairs when she ran into the young masters and ladies who were returning home.
When He Xingqiong saw Mingdai's situation, her first thought was that Mingdai was going on a business trip.
"You've only been working for a few days, why are you already going on a business trip?"
Mingdai was taken aback.
Then she thought that letting the He family think that way might not be a bad thing.
But then she thought of He Yaoyuan's sarcastic remarks.
It's better to explain it clearly.
"I'm moving out."
The young masters and ladies were instantly stunned.
He Xingqiong found it hard to believe.
"Why did you move out for no reason? Who told you to move?"
He Xingqiong thought of someone, "Did Third Uncle say that?"
"No, no."
We must not wrong He Yaonian.
"Yes, sir."
The housekeeper stepped in at the right moment to help Mingdai out of the predicament.
"The old man came back this morning, but you all avoided trouble and went out, so naturally you don't know that the old man asked Miss Ming to move out."
This is absurd.
"He's a busybody, why does he have to meddle in this too?"
He Xingqiong was furious.
"What's wrong with Mingdai living here? Why does he have to be so annoying?"
