Mo Tingchuan was so excited that he spit on Mingdai's face.
Mingdai was choked so hard she could hardly breathe.
The disparity in strength between men and women led her to underestimate Mo Tingchuan's bottom line; after all, this was her home.
Mingdai's face grew increasingly flushed as she struggled to writhe and try to break free from Mo Tingchuan's grasp.
"Tell me, have you and Third Uncle been secretly together behind my back?"

Knowing that Mo Tingchuan was still trying to save face and would never agree to a divorce until the very last moment, she knew that Mo Tingchuan would refuse to do so no matter what.

There was a sudden knock on the door.
Ming's father asked from outside, "Dai Dai, I heard Ting Chuan is back?"
Mingdai, who was inside the room, immediately warned Mo Tingchuan and lowered her voice.
“My dad’s heart can’t take stress. No matter how angry you are right now, I advise you to be a normal person.”
Mingdai ran back to bed, crawled in, and covered herself completely with the blanket.
Mo Tingchuan froze for a moment before coughing lightly to compose himself.
He opened the door as if nothing had happened.
"dad."
As soon as the door opened, Mo Tingchuan chuckled and met Ming's father's gaze.
"I got back too late and thought you and Mom were asleep, so I didn't disturb you."
Ming's father discreetly observed Mo Tingchuan's expression, noticing the smile still lingering on his lips, and couldn't help but glance into the room.
Through the entryway, all you can see is that the light is on.
