Mingdai sat on the sofa, admiring the flowers outside while waiting for He Yaonian to tidy herself up. She slowly finished the hot tea in her cup.

He was carrying a tie in his hand and talking on the phone as he walked.
He walked straight up to Mingdai and handed her the tie.
Mingdai took it blankly, looking at him, not understanding why.
He Yaonian gave her a meaningful look, signaling her to tie it for him.
He even bent down to cooperate.

Mingdai's brain had turned to mush again.
How could she tie her third uncle's tie!

He put his phone away and asked Mingdai.

He reached out and ruffled Mingdai's hair, as if to comfort her and tell her to wait.
Mingdai looked at the heavy rain outside.
It shouldn't stop anytime soon.
She sat back down and waited quietly.
He Yaonian glanced at Mingdai discreetly.
He silently curled his lips into a cheap smile.
A little while later, He Yaonian took Mingdai to the company.
"I'll wait here. Go get the contract."
