He Yaonian didn't have any social engagements tonight, so he left work early.
But after returning home, he never saw Mingdai come back.
He Yaonian kept looking outside from his study, and after a while, he finally lost his patience.
He called Mingdai.
At first, the call could be made, but it soon became switched off.

In today's society, people are almost always with their mobile phones, and even if they run out of power, they can charge them in their cars.

"Third Uncle, dinner's ready."
He Xingqiong knocked on the study door.
He Yaonian went downstairs with her.
"Mingdai hasn't returned yet?"
He Xingqiong shook her head. "I didn't see her. Is she doing something tonight?"
He Yaonian remained silent.
When they arrived at the restaurant, they found that Mo Tingchuan had not returned either.
But that's not surprising, since he rarely eats lunch or dinner and usually eats out.
Originally, there was nothing wrong, but He Yaonian was restless and felt that something was going to happen.
After dinner, he lit a cigarette and stood in the garden looking out onto the driveway.
Mingdai did not appear for a long time.
He Yaonian called Mingdai again.
"Sorry, the number you dialed is currently unavailable. Please..."
Still turning it off.
He Yaonian took two deep drags on his cigarette, turned around and went back into the house, grabbed his car keys, and sped off.
He went to Mingdai's apartment first.
No one answered the doorbell or knocking, confirming that Mingdai had not returned.
He Yaonian made another trip to Mingdai's company.
I learned from the gatekeeper that Mingdai had already left.
Since you left, why didn't you go back to the He family?
While sitting in the car, He Yaonian had his assistant find out the phone number of Ming Dai's assistant.
I called to ask.
"Huh? She didn't go back?"
Thinking it might be Mingdai's friend or family member, the assistant remembered that she hadn't been feeling well when she got off work.
"I noticed she didn't look well at the time, and I was thinking of taking her to the hospital, but she refused."
The nearest hospital to Ming's is less than ten minutes away.
He Yaonian searched everywhere but found nothing.
He increasingly felt that something was amiss.
How could someone suddenly disappear?

This location is rather remote, but it's perfect for gatherings and parties.

I was thinking this guy was doing pretty well.
Without caring what Mo Tingchuan was doing there, she turned and went downstairs.
Just as Gu Chengyun and his friends finished skewering the meat and were about to start grilling, He Yaonian suddenly called.
Gu Chengyun thought He Yaonian was bored with life and wanted to join his dinner party.
But He Yaonian's words almost made him jump up.
"Mingdai has disappeared."
Gu Chengyun's mind went blank for a moment before he suddenly realized what was happening.
"Fuck you!"
"I might know where she is."
Gu Chengyun immediately sent the address to He Yaonian.
"What's wrong? Why are you so startled?"
His friends were startled by his changed expression.
"What's wrong? What happened?"
Gu Chengyun didn't say anything. He saw a half-section of steel pipe lying on the pool table not far away. He rushed over, grabbed it, and ran out.
"No, this..."
The others looked at each other in bewilderment.
Realizing something was wrong, he hurriedly followed.
Gu Chengyun ran to Mo Tingchuan's courtyard and realized that the doors were now very difficult to kick open.
He turned his head and saw several friends who had followed him.
"Tell the property management that this house is on fire and ask them to come and open the door immediately."
My friend didn't ask any questions and hurriedly went to do it.
The property management company did not have the authority to open the owner's door without permission, and there was no fire alarm lit inside the owner's house.
