Mingdai did not object.
The next morning, Mingdai also went to Qin Weiwei's house.
Qin Weiwei has not dared to go out for the past two days, fearing that Ming Dai might take the opportunity to retaliate against her.
So when she heard someone knocking on the door, she panicked and ran to the kitchen to get a knife.
Gripping the kitchen knife tightly, I carefully moved to the doorway and peered out through the peephole.
When she saw Mingdai's face, she was so frightened she almost screamed.
She must have come to settle scores with her.
Qin Weiwei panicked and backed away, afraid of making any noise.
She quietly hid behind the door, not daring to look through the peephole again, afraid that Mingdai would see her in the room through it.
"Qin Weiwei, it's me."
Mingdai knocked on the door but couldn't get an answer, so she rang the doorbell again.
She knew Qin Weiwei was at home.
Qin Weiwei ignored him, slowly squatted down, and curled up motionless, holding the kitchen knife.
She did consider running away.
But what difference is there between this and Mo Tingchuan kicking her out?
She had already chosen to be an enemy of Mingdai, so how could she go against her wishes?
"Qin Weiwei, I'm here to negotiate with you. Of course, this is great news for you."
Mingdai stood outside the door, looking up through the glass of the corridor; the sun was shining brightly outside.
What a beautiful day!
"Mo Tingchuan has lost his memory."
"I don't know if you already knew all along."
Mingdai raised her hand and knocked on the door again.
Knock knock knock!
"I won't do anything to you; perhaps we can cooperate."
Mingdai's tone sounded very gentle, not at all like the hysterical and furious tone Qin Weiwei had imagined.
It seems that Mo Tingchuan really did fail.
Qin Weiwei couldn't tell whether she was disappointed or relieved.
She slowly stood up, supporting herself against the door, and then quietly peeked at Mingdai outside through the peephole.
Has Mo Tingchuan lost his memory?
Oh!
No one would believe such a lie.
Mingdai continued, "You and the child in your belly are now a burden to Mo Tingchuan. I know you are being threatened by him, and I can understand why you are joining forces with him to deal with me."
Qin Weiwei's lips trembled, and she pressed her back against the door.
"Qin Weiwei, this is your only chance. If you don't open the door, you'll never be able to be with Mo Tingchuan again, and your child will probably never see the light of day again."
After Mingdai finished speaking, she paused for two minutes. Seeing that Qin Weiwei was still unmoved, she sneered and turned to leave.
Qin Weiwei felt conflicted when she heard high heels outside the door indicating someone was leaving.
She would have trusted Mingdai completely before she hurt her.
But now...
How could she not know how much Mingdai wanted her to go to hell?
Look at this house, which isn't very big.
Qin Weiwei felt lost. Was she destined to hide here forever?
After she called Mo Tingchuan yesterday, he didn't answer. When she called again, his phone was switched off.
She called Mo Yumei, wanting to visit Mo Tingchuan at the hospital. Mo Yumei sternly reprimanded her, advising her to just focus on her pregnancy.
Qin Weiwei no longer holds any place in the hearts of the Mo family members.
She didn't know why things had turned out this way.
But she knew very well that Mo Tingchuan's failure meant she had to leave the city, and her child would most likely not survive either.
Even if she tried to use the incident of harming Mingdai to threaten Mo Tingchuan, the final result would only be that she would drift further and further away from Mo Tingchuan.
She is now surrounded by enemies and has truly reached a dead end.
Qin Weiwei gripped the doorknob, took a deep breath, and forcefully opened the door.
Mingdai had already reached the elevator.
Qin Weiwei chased after her.
The two looked at each other in bewilderment.
A beam of light shone through the window in the corridor and fell directly on Mingdai.
Mingdai's peacock green dress shone brightly in the sunlight. Her skin was fair, her long hair was tied in a lazy low ponytail, and her straight shoulders and back were slender yet powerful. She looked sacred and inviolable.
Qin Weiwei suddenly felt extremely ashamed.
I feel ashamed of my appearance.
She felt like a stinking rat in a sewer; just standing there made the whole corridor stink.
"Ding~"
The elevator is open.
Mingdai glanced at it but didn't go in.
She turned back to look at Qin Weiwei.
Qin Weiwei looked disheveled, pale, and awkward.
Mingdai remained silent for a moment before slowly walking towards her.
The two returned to Qin Weiwei's room.
Mingdai saw the kitchen knife that had been thrown behind the door.
She raised an eyebrow in surprise and asked Qin Weiwei.
"What? Were you just about to attack me with a knife?"
Qin Weiwei awkwardly picked up the knife and hurriedly put it back in the kitchen.
After she came out, she awkwardly explained, "I thought you came to get revenge on me."
Mingdai glanced at Qin Weiwei's stomach.
"You're a pregnant woman, do you think you can rely on just a kitchen knife..."
That's all for now.
Mingdai suddenly gave a sarcastic smile.
"You managed to knock me out without even using a kitchen knife, so I really can't underestimate you."
Qin Weiwei's face flushed red.
"sorry."
Mingdai asked, "Before you chose to drug me, didn't you ever think about telling me the truth?"
Qin Weiwei lowered her eyes.
"You can't help me."
Qin Weiwei smiled bitterly, "Only Mo Tingchuan can give me what I want."
"Is it absolutely necessary to have Mo Tingchuan?"
Qin Weiwei felt that Ming Dai's words were just a way of making fun of her.
"If I had any other choice, do you think I would want to do this?"
"You have other options."
