Chapter 198 Discussing Divorce

Mo Qingying didn't want to explain the details to Mingdai, feeling that no matter how she explained it, it would be too cruel to Mingdai.

Watching Mo Qingying's departing figure, Mingdai looked blankly at the sky.

Does Mo Tingchuan have other women?

However, she wasn't surprised at all.

They say a leopard can't change its spots, and the same goes for men who cheat; once they start, they'll do it again.

But how did Mo Qingying find out?

That woman couldn't possibly have gone to the hospital to cause trouble, could she?

That should be quite lively.

Mingdai went upstairs, where He Yaonian was waiting for her at the door of the study.

I saw her raise her voice.

"Mingdai".

Mingdai turned her head.

"Third Uncle, what's wrong?"

He Yaonian stood at the door without moving. "Didn't I tell you to rest? What have you been doing again?"

Mingdai: "..."

She's not a glass doll that breaks at the slightest touch.

"I just went for a walk outside, and I'm all better now. My headache is gone."

She took her medicine at noon and slept until evening. By the time she woke up, everyone had already eaten dinner.

He Yaonian accompanied Mingdai for another meal.

Mingdai, holding a bunch of sunflowers, walked towards He Yaonian.

When they reached the door, he picked up two sticks and handed them to He Yaonian.

"Here, take this."

He Yaonian looked down at the sunflowers carefully.

"You're just giving it to me like this?"

These sunflowers look like they were picked and haven't been processed yet; they're very fresh and blooming vigorously and beautifully.

Mingdai thought for a moment, "Then I'll find a vase for you to put it in later."

He Yao smiled and reached out to take it.

"Come in and arrange the flowers; there are vases in the study."

"Won't that affect your work?"

Mingdai was afraid of disturbing He Yaonian.

He Yaonian didn't say anything, turned around and went inside first.

Oh well, it's just arranging flowers anyway, it won't take much time.

He Yaonian's computer was on, and he was clearly very busy.

Mingdai didn't dare to move closer to him.

She was already somewhat familiar with the study and knew where the vase was.

I tiptoed over, grabbed two vases, found some scissors, and then sat down on the sofa to trim and prune.

When Mingdai woke up earlier, she had changed into a comfortable white dress, and her ponytail was casually braided into a three-strand braid, hanging down to one side of her shoulder.

She quietly went about her work, carefully removing the less-than-perfect petals from the very edges of the sunflower.

He Yaonian kept glancing at her, making it impossible for him to concentrate on his work.

Finally, he tilted his chair slightly and glanced at Mingdai out of the corner of his eye while working.

Mingdai finished arranging the vase and was very satisfied. She chuckled softly and hummed a little tune, feeling relaxed and content.

He Yaonian was delighted.

I secretly took a short video with my phone and then took several photos.

Good-looking people are especially eye-catching in front of the camera.

After taking the photos, He Yaonian looked at them, his gaze softening, his deep affection impossible to conceal.

The next day, it rained lightly.

He Yaoyuan called Mingdai to stop early in the morning.

"Let's go to the hospital and talk to Tingchuan about the divorce."

Mingdai assumed that Mo Tingchuan and the others had finished their discussion and were just waiting for her to make the final judgment.

But when they arrived at the hospital, they learned that Mo Tingchuan had no such intention at all.

"Can we talk about this after I regain my memory?"

Mo Tingchuan strongly resisted divorce. He didn't know why, but his subconscious told him that he absolutely could not divorce.

"Brother, whether you regain your memory or not, your marriage with her is already doomed. Besides, Qin Weiwei is about to give birth. You have to give Qin Weiwei an explanation."

Mo Qingying felt it was better to divorce Mingdai and give her freedom, so that her brother's women wouldn't cause trouble in front of Mingdai again, and she would lose all face.

Qin Weiwei had been waiting for this day for a long time.

She looked at Mo Tingchuan pitifully, her hand stroking her belly.

She told Mo Tingchuan yesterday that a child cannot be born out of wedlock.

Mo Tingchuan also promised her that he would think it over carefully.

For Qin Weiwei, there is one good thing about Mo Tingchuan's amnesia: he still has a conscience and will take responsibility for her and the child.

Mo Yumei has been persuaded by He Yaoyuan.

She could agree to a divorce, though she had long wanted to kick Mingdai to the curb.

but……

“Mingdai, some things are known only to heaven, earth, you, and me. If all you want is a divorce certificate, then we will sign it immediately. But if you want something else, then I'm afraid this divorce won't be able to proceed smoothly.”

He Yaoyuan didn't want to give Mingdai anything either.

But……

"Mingdai, tell me what you want first?"

He Xingjian, who accompanied Ming Dai, sneered.

"Do I even need to ask? At least half of the property is due."

Mo Yumei's expression changed drastically. "That's impossible."

“Everything you have now is thanks to Mingdai. She has already been more than generous by taking only half of it.”

He Xingjian didn't want to argue with Mo Yumei.

He came on He Yaonian's orders, and he would never back down from what he was entitled to.

He Xingjian said to He Yaoyuan, "Uncle, Mo Tingchuan will inherit your property in the future, and the He family will also transfer other assets to his name. Divorcing now is just a drop in the ocean for him, but if he divorces again later, then..."

He Xing's brief statement ends here.

He Yaoyuan certainly understood this principle, which is why he wanted to resolve the matter quickly.

But after much thought, Mo Yumei felt that half was still too much.

“My son has worked hard over the years to accumulate this wealth. Mingdai helped us a lot back then, but my son also really put in a lot of hard work. Without my son’s efforts, no matter how much Mingdai helped, it would have been all for nothing.”
