Chapter 28 He'll be unhappy if you don't reply.

After hearing Mingdai's words, He Xingqiong remained silent for a long time.

She stared intently at Mingdai with her large, round, alluring eyes, as if she were looking at some strange and bizarre monster.

Mingdai was very hungry, so he ignored her and let her look around.

It took He Xingqiong a while to seem to come to her senses.

"How are you so amazing!"

He Xingqiong laughed out loud and gave Mingdai a thumbs up.

"No way, Mingdai, you're amazing!"

Mingdai silently took a sip of soup.

She didn't know if it was impressive or not; all she knew was that at the moment she threw the ashtray, she truly intended to kill Mo Tingchuan.

The more she loved this man before, the more she hates him now.

Are you alright?

After expressing her amazement, He Xingqiong asked, "After you injured Mo Tingchuan, he didn't do anything to you, did he?"

Mingdai shook her head.

“His condition is a bit serious; he’s dizzy and lightheaded. Even if he wanted to do something to me, he wouldn’t have the ability.”

He Xingqiong laughed repeatedly, utterly astonished.

"Don't you two have a good relationship?"

He Xingqiong asked sarcastically, "Why did you start fighting?"

Mingdai sighed helplessly, "He knocked me unconscious this morning and brought me out."

He Xingqiong was speechless.

"No, why is that? Oh, is it because you're going to the police station to report Mo Qingying?"

Yes and no.

Mingdai nodded as she ate, "More or less."

He Xingqiong frowned.

I absolutely loathe Mo Tingchuan.

"His sister tried to poison you, and instead of standing up for you, your husband tried to knock you unconscious to settle things. Tell me, shouldn't you get a divorce for this kind of person?!"

He Xingqiong was so angry with herself that she almost died.

She slammed her chopsticks down and glared angrily at Mingdai.

"Is divorce an option?"

"Oh, I really can't stand this injustice. What did he do to knock you out? This is the He family, this bastard is simply lawless."

He Xingqiong was filled with righteous indignation.

"I really don't know what got into my third uncle that allowed such a shameless bastard to enter my He family. I'm disgusted with him."

Seeing that He Xingqiong's face was red with anger, Mingdai got up and poured her a glass of water.

"The divorce is going to happen, but not now."

She put her hand on He Xingqiong's back to pat her back and help her breathe.

"Don't be angry. Although he knocked me unconscious, I also injured him. And he was seriously injured. The concussion alone made him vomit and suffer terribly. In any case, he won't be able to get out of bed for the next few days."

"A real divorce?"

He Xingqiong is straightforward and honest. She has been pampered since childhood and would never suffer the slightest grievance.

Naturally, she couldn't bear to see Mingdai suffer.

Although they had only known each other for a short time, she was happy to meddle in Mingdai's affairs.

He grabbed Mingdai's hand.

"You're not lying to me, are you?"

Mingdai was physically weak from childhood and had almost no social life. Even after growing up, she lived a secluded life and had few true friends.

She once thought that Mo Tingchuan was all she needed in her life, since she didn't need any friends anyway.

But now He Xingqiong has forcefully entered her life, supporting her without hesitation and sharing her hatred of the enemy.

The feeling was indescribable, a surge of emotion welling up inside her. Her nerves, which had been on edge all day, quietly relaxed in He Xingqiong's presence.

"There are just some things that haven't been resolved yet. Once they are, this marriage will come to an end."

Mingdai sat back down and served He Xingqiong some food, saying, "Eat quickly, or it will get cold."

He Xingqiong picked up her chopsticks again.

Is there anything I can do to help?

She said, "Actually, you could ask my third uncle for help."

Mingdai lowered her eyes, thinking of He Yaonian's words, "It's best to stay far away from me."

He Yaonian had no reason to interfere in her private affairs, and besides, she didn't have the courage to tell him the truth; it would be too shameful.

After dinner, Mingdai went to clean the living room.

He Xingqiong sat in the corner of the sofa and sent a message to He Xingjian.

He Xingjian was just as shocked as He Xingqiong when he learned that Mo Tingchuan had been beaten into the hospital by Ming Dai.

It's true that Mingdai usually looks so delicate and weak, like she couldn't even kill a chicken, and could be blown over by a strong wind. So where would she get the strength to injure Mo Tingchuan?

He Xingjian was skeptical, so he asked He Xingqiong to find out which hospital it was, and just to be on the safe side, he did some research.

A few minutes later, the assistant called.

"Mr. He, Mo Tingchuan is indeed in the hospital. He injured his head and needs to stay for a few days."

He Xingjian turned around and went to find He Yaonian.

The matter is not completely over yet, and anything that needs to be reported must be reported immediately.

After leaving the club, He Yaonian returned to the He family villa and is currently busy in his study.

He Xingjian was taking a walk outside when he entered the living room and heard his siblings chirping loudly.

"As expected of the mistress's daughter, only people like her could pull off this suicide act out of guilt."

“I asked the doctor, and the medicine was taken down within minutes. When we got to the hospital, the doctor didn’t need to do much. Mo Qingying was able to vomit it up herself.”

"Mingdai must have had the worst luck to encounter such a terrible family. I bet she didn't leave on her own this morning. It's not impossible that Mo Tingchuan didn't want Mingdai to send her sister to prison and forced Mingdai to leave."

The He family wasn't siding with Mingdai, but the behavior of Mo Tingchuan and his family of three was simply unbearable to watch; Mingdai was truly pitiful.

He Xingjian gave a thumbs-up to her younger brother who had just guessed that Mingdai wasn't the one who had left.

"you're right."

He didn't explain, and strode upstairs like the wind.

The computer on He Yaonian's desk was on; he had just finished a meeting.
