Chapter 45 No way, Uncle Three's feelings for Ming Dai?

Mingdai left the Ming family before lunch.

She visited the two villas of Mo Tingchuan that she didn't know about before.

The locations are all good; even if you don't live there and sell it in the future, you can still make a lot of money.

I just randomly picked a restaurant for lunch.

I'm not feeling well, and I'm really tired after walking around for so long. I can't take it anymore and want to go home to rest.

Then I received a call from He Yaonian.

"Where?"

Mingdai stared at the unfamiliar street. "What's wrong, Third Uncle?"

"I think I just saw you, but I'm not sure, so I'll ask."

Mingdai immediately turned her head and looked around.

A black Bentley was parked in front of a restaurant not far away, and He Yaonian was standing by the car making a phone call.

Mingdai walked over.

"Third Uncle, are you discussing business here?"

She asked naturally.

He Yaonian looked at her slightly pale face, "Are you feeling unwell?"

Mingdai shook her head. "I'm a little tired."

"Where to go next?"

He Yaonian asked, "Going home?"

Mingdai gave a soft "hmm," and said, "I want to go home."

"I send you."

After getting on the bus, He Yaonian remembered something.

He looked at Mingdai, who was leaning back in her chair.

Have you had lunch yet?

"have eaten."

Mingdai truthfully answered why she was there.

“I just went to those two villas. They will belong to me in the future, and I need to be clear about my assets.”

He Yaonian remained silent.

Mingdai never expected to run into He Yaonian by chance.

"Third Uncle, it won't bother you if you take me home, will it?"

"fine."

He Yaonian shook his head.

Mingdai relaxed.

Soft music was playing in the car. Mingdai couldn't stay awake for long before she became drowsy and finally fell asleep completely while waiting at a traffic light.

The driver glanced at Mingdai through the rearview mirror.

He Yaonian glanced at him and whispered, "Where's the blanket?"

The driver pulled over and took a clean blanket from the trunk.

He Yaonian carefully covered Mingdai's face with the blanket.

Mingdai slept soundly, oblivious to everything.

He Yao Nian's phone rang many times along the way, and finally He Xing Jian called the driver.

Seeing that He Yaonian was quietly answering a phone call, the driver said to He Xingjian, "The chairman wants to take Miss Ming home. We'll be there soon."

He Xingjian remained silent for a long time after hearing the news.

He had a premonition that things were not going well.

This is very bad.

However, no evidence could be found.

He Yaonian had many meetings in the afternoon, but he postponed them by two because he was sending Mingdai off.

When he arrived at the company, the conference room was already full of people waiting for him.

The meeting didn't end until almost the end of the afternoon.

He Xingjian leaned against the corridor waiting for He Yaonian; she had a social engagement that evening.

While scrolling through my phone, I kept an eye on what was happening in the meeting room.

Suddenly I saw a post on the housekeeper's WeChat Moments saying that the kitchen had made some delicious new milk tea today.

He Xingjian's mind went blank.

He hurriedly called the housekeeper.

"Why did you suddenly start making milk tea?"

The butler replied with a smile, "Miss Ming wanted a drink; it was Third Master's order."

He Xingjian was on high alert.

At this moment, He Yaonian walked out of the conference room, and He Xingjian immediately hung up the phone.

"Third Uncle."

He Yaonian loosened his tie, his handsome face remaining calm.

Despite the high-intensity work every day, He Yaonian, as the leader of the company, is always full of energy.

He glanced at his watch; he still had an hour before his evening engagement, so he could rest for a while on the way.

He Xingjian followed behind He Yaonian, wanting to ask something several times, but automatically shut her mouth when she met He Yaonian's probing gaze.

When He Yaonian returned to the He family home after the social event, he couldn't help but speak up while resting with his eyes closed.

"Just say what you have to say."

He Xingjian, sitting in the passenger seat, straightened his back.

He was probably a little thirsty because he had just drunk too much.

Even in front of the driver, I didn't dare to say anything too sensitive.

I can only ramble on and on.

"The housekeeper said that Mingdai wanted to drink milk tea today, so he asked the kitchen to make some specially, which is healthy and additive-free."

The lights were off in the back seat, so He Yaonian's expression was not visible.

He Xingjian turned her head to peek and saw that her third uncle had his eyes closed.

He Xingjian thought for a moment and then said, "We don't know the specifics of Mingdai's health. It seems to be a congenital illness that's difficult to treat. We can only take good care of her."

He Yaonian's eyelids twitched slightly.

I know what He Xingjian wants to say.

“Last night she went to a friend’s birthday party, and because of a piece of chocolate, the child had an allergic reaction and had to be taken to the hospital.”

He Xingjian was stunned.

He had no idea about this.

He Yaonian rarely offered an explanation.

"We happened to run into her. She was crying quite hard and said she wanted to drink milk tea."

He Xingjian didn't quite understand.

He turned to look at He Yaonian.

"Is it her chocolate?"

"Mo Tingchuan's mistress."

He Xingjian: "???"

He Xingjian was truly shocked; her eyes widened in disbelief.

The driver who was listening in was so frustrated he wished he could go deaf; how could he possibly hear that!

"Third Uncle, this..."

“Mingdai is not in good health and has a low tolerance for regular milk tea. I promised her last night that I would have the family cook make her something more nutritious.”

He Yaonian opened his eyes and asked He Xingjian, "Do you still have any doubts?"

He Xingjian shook her head and hurriedly said, "No, no."

So that's how it is.

His mind is wandering to all sorts of random thoughts.

He knew it! How could Third Uncle... After all, he and Mingdai weren't even of the same generation. Although they weren't related by blood, there was still Mo Tingchuan between them.
