Mingdai was inexplicably embarrassed by He Yaonian's words.
She couldn't help but wonder, was she really like that?
Seeing that Ming Dai remained silent, He Yaonian looked up at her again, his handsome face bearing a smile that was thought-provoking.
"Why aren't you saying anything? Didn't you have something to ask me?"
He Yaonian glanced again at the cup of hangover tea that Mingdai had poured for him. He thought for a moment, then reached out and took the cup, slowly sipping it.
Mingdai sat on the small sofa opposite He Yaonian.
My eyes followed his movements.
"Third Uncle, I heard from Mo Qingying that Qin Weiwei is moving to the He family villa?"
He Yaonian paused in his tea-drinking motion and frowned.
When did you say that?
"today."
Mingdai observes He Yaonian's reaction.
Could it be that Mo Qingying really lied to him?
“Your uncle does have this idea.”
He Yaonian finished his tea and asked Mingdai.
What are you thinking?
What do you think...?
The fact that He Yaonian didn't immediately deny it means that it's most likely true.
A feeling of indescribable sadness welled up in Mingdai's heart. It seemed that He Yaonian was becoming more and more biased towards Mo Tingchuan and the others.
In this family, she was the complete outsider.
"Uncle, you can arrange it."
Mingdai thought that since He Yaonian already had a plan, her opinions and suggestions were obviously not that important.
"Then I won't bother you any longer, Uncle. I'll go back to my room now."
After returning to my room, I tossed and turned, unable to fall asleep.
Mingdai got out of bed, put on her clothes, and quietly went downstairs without disturbing anyone. She returned to her apartment.
Fortunately, the apartment she and Mo Tingchuan had been living in was purchased in her name.
Ignore He Yaonian's change in attitude.
To understand why He Yaonian favored Mo Tingchuan and his group.
Mingdai was just a little disappointed.
That's all.
Mingdai slept until noon the next day. When she woke up, she saw a message from a jewelry scammer asking when she would come over to see the goods again, trying to urge her to place an order for the design first.
Mingdai rubbed her temples, which were aching from sleeping too long.
After staring at his phone for a moment, he finally burst out laughing.
This jewelry swindler is truly a businessman; he cheats both sides.
After getting ready, I went out to find Sister Le.
Sister Le has collected a lot of evidence for Mingdai these past two days.
"Let's go together then, but are you sure Mo Qingying really doesn't have any money?"
Sister Le stirred her coffee with ice. She really couldn't agree with the taste of the new coffee in the store. Trying it out was a disaster.
Mingdai also tried the new drink, but found it hard to swallow.
She couldn't help but stare intently at the coffee in her cup for a while, her brow furrowing.
"Why does it taste so awful?"
I don't know what they added, but it has a strange taste.
Le Jie simply stopped drinking and pushed the coffee cup away.
Mingdai also stopped drinking.
She took a bite of the dessert and said slowly, "Mo Qingying is extravagant and can't save money. Although she works at Mo Tingchuan's company and receives a fixed salary every month, Mo Tingchuan will give her extra living expenses, but she definitely can't come up with millions of yuan every time."
Mingdai thought for a moment, "Let alone her, even Mo Tingchuan is in a bit of a predicament."
After all, Mo Tingchuan had invested all his money in his business.
Sister Le rested her chin on her hand, seemingly lost in thought.
"His inability to pay doesn't mean he's short of funds."
Mingdai smiled meaningfully, "Then let him manage it for now."
Mo Tingchuan discovered that Mingdai was secretly hindering his business. When he called Mingdai, she was watering flowers in her apartment.
Mingdai put the call on speakerphone.
I heard Mo Tingchuan gritting his teeth and questioning me from the other end.
"You did all of this?"
Mingdai remained calm and composed. "What are you talking about? What did I do?"
“You know that client I’ve been trying to win over very well. If it weren’t for your deliberate sabotage, he wouldn’t have suddenly changed his mind.”
"He told you I was the one who broke it?"
Mingdai bent down and carefully removed the withered branches and leaves from the flowers, while thinking about the last time she fertilized them.
She used to love taking care of flowers and plants, but as Mo Tingchuan's attitude became increasingly indifferent, she lost interest in life and gave away most of her flowers and plants.
“If it’s not you, then who is it, Mingdai? I thought our affairs shouldn’t interfere with the company. Doing this won’t do you any good.”
Mo Tingchuan seemed to have forgotten his arrogance and recklessness on the day he broke off relations, how he humiliated and slandered Mingdai, trampling her self-esteem and infatuation into the mud.
He thought these were all private matters and shouldn't be brought up in public.
Of course, he was certain that Mingdai wouldn't dare to make any rash moves. He had the video, the interests of both families to blackmail her, and the reputation and health of Mingdai's parents in their later years as a weapon. He was confident that he could control Mingdai.
He thought that no matter what, Ming Dai wouldn't lay a hand on the company that the Ming family had worked so hard to help get started.
Mingdai couldn't bear to part with it.
But right now, all of Mingdai's actions have exceeded his expectations.
“Mingdai, this company belongs to both of us. Every penny of the profits belongs to both of us. If you drive away the business, the company won’t make any money. Tell me, what’s the point of doing this?”
Remove the withered leaves, and the plant will look brand new.
Mingdai felt much better looking at the glistening water droplets on the blooming flowers.
"I haven't done anything, yet others won't cooperate with you. Don't you ever consider whether it's your fault?"
Mingdai went to find fertilizer.
"I'm busy now, don't call me unless it's important."
Tending to flowers and plants is quite a waste of time; before I knew it, it was already afternoon, the setting sun hung on the horizon, and the fiery clouds burned like blood.
Mingdai was a little hungry, but there was no food in the refrigerator, and she was too lazy to cook.
She searched for takeout on her phone.
I was carefully choosing what to eat when the doorbell rang.
