Chapter 75 A gift from someone who admires Uncle San

He Yaonian pretended not to see Mingdai's pitiful state.

He nodded deliberately, seemingly nonchalant.

"Okay, I'm getting busy."

Mingdai came excitedly, but only got halfway done, and she felt uneasy.

But we can't disturb He Yaonian's work.

They could only leave reluctantly.

Looking down from the building, He Yaonian could see Ming Dai, looking dejected, slowly walking out of the park like a snail through the bright glass windows.

He then raised his wrist to look at the brand-new, attractive watch on his wrist.

Knowing that Mingdai hadn't achieved her goal today, she would definitely have to find him another day.

He Yaonian chuckled meaningfully and made a phone call.

Before we had even walked a quarter of the way through the Mingdai Park, a car was parked on the side.

"Ms. Ming, the chairman asked me to take you home."

Mingdai paused for a moment, then turned to look at the building.

The building soared into the clouds, its glass gleaming blindingly in the sunlight. Although I knew which floor He Yaonian was on, I couldn't catch a glimpse of anything at a glance.

Mingdai got into the car.

Although the goal was not achieved, at least He Yaonian was considerate enough to have someone deliver it to her.

Well, it's not that urgent. Let's just see how things go.

Anyway, He Yaonian is indebted to others, so if she asks him for help again, he won't be able to refuse.

Back at the He family villa, Mingdai slept until sunset.

I felt much more refreshed after waking up, and my headache was gone.

She ran into the housekeeper as she went downstairs.

The butler smiled broadly.

"Miss Ming, I've saved some food for you. Would you like to eat in the dining room or in the kitchen?"

There is also a small dining table in the kitchen.

Mingdai didn't want to go through that trouble.

"I'll eat in the kitchen."

The housekeeper wanted to make arrangements for Mingdai, but Mingdai quickly stopped him.

"I can do it myself."

She can't eat much; a few bites are enough for her.

The butler, however, refused to comply.

"How can I do it myself?"

The housekeeper called over a nanny and instructed her to serve Mingdai dinner.

Mingdai felt bad. If only she hadn't overslept and had gotten up to eat on time, she wouldn't have had to trouble everyone.

"Ms. Ming, this is all our work involves. Please don't feel guilty about it."

The nanny even comforted Mingdai.

Although that's the logic, Mingdai still felt embarrassed.

After dinner, Mingdai wanted to go outside for some evening breeze to help digest her food.

Mo Tingchuan suddenly strode in through the main entrance, and his eyes lit up when he saw Mingdai.

"Where have you been today? I haven't seen you at all."

Mingdai retreated and did not go any further.

"I can't possibly tell you where I'm going."

She turned around and wanted to go upstairs.

"Mingdai".

Mo Tingchuan quickly stepped forward and blocked Mingdai's path.

He was in a good mood and full of anticipation.

"Do you have something to give me?"

They're all eager to buy it right away.

But Mo Tingchuan used to disdain anything Mingdai gave him.

Even if he accepted it in front of Mingdai, he would turn around and throw it far away. He would never use it, and he would never let it appear in his sight again.

Mingdai was bewildered by Mo Tingchuan's appearance, but she quickly understood.

So it turns out Mo Qingying told Mo Tingchuan everything.

"What?"

Mingdai wondered if Mo Tingchuan had something wrong with his head. His sister was so self-righteous, and he knew perfectly well what was going on between them. How could she possibly give him anything more?

"No?"

Mo Tingchuan frowned.

Mingdai shook her head. "No."

Not wanting to pay attention to him, Mingdai took the opportunity to leave through another door just as the young masters of the He family returned from their meal.

A refreshing evening breeze brought a significant rise in temperature, and the entire manor was filled with the fragrance of flowers and fresh air, making Mingdai feel wonderfully comfortable.

As she walked out of the cobblestone path, by sheer coincidence, she encountered He Xingqiong's car coming from the end of the road.

Mingdai thought for a moment, then stood to the side and greeted them.

He Xingqiong stuck her head out of the car window and shouted from afar.

What are you doing?

Mingdai thought she was alone, but when the car arrived, she found He Yaonian sitting in the back seat.

The car door opened, and He Xingqiong said to Mingdai with a smile, "Several men called today to inquire about you; they are all exceptionally talented individuals."

Mingdai was stunned.

He subconsciously glanced at He Yaonian in the back seat of the car.

The rear window was lowered halfway, and her eyes met He Yaonian's.

He Yaonian showed no emotion, his eyes were indifferent, yet inexplicably dangerous.

Mingdai felt a chill run down her spine.

She glared at He Xingqiong and said, "Don't talk nonsense."

"Hahaha."

He Xingqiong didn't know why she was so excited tonight, and she no longer maintained her ladylike image in front of He Yaonian.

"I'm serious, you should dump Mo Tingchuan right now, and you'll live the high life with me from now on."

A breeze blew, carrying with it the smell of alcohol emanating from He Xingqiong.

Mingdai understood.

She said that He Xingqiong would never dare to be so presumptuous in front of He Yaonian under normal circumstances.

"I won't stoop to your level, you drunkard."

Mingdai suggested heading into the woods, but she decided to return to the cobblestone path and continue her walk.

"Wherever you go, we'll go together."

He Xingqiong, beaming with pride, was about to get off the bus.

"Don't come down. You've had too much to drink, go back to your room and rest."

To prevent He Xingqiong from coming down, Ming Dai moved with lightning speed, quickly leaving him far behind.

Inside the car, He Xingqiong slumped back into her seat.

He muttered something under his breath.

"This Mingdai, I kindly introduced her to a reliable man, why is she still so hesitant and uncooperative?"

He Yaonian, sitting in the back seat, frowned deeply.
