He Yaonian and Mingdai had lunch together. Mingdai's father was still asleep. He Yaonian told Mingdai that he would send two more servants over later and that she should not be too tired.
Mingdai was embarrassed.
"Third Uncle, I can stay with you during the day."
If the maid is in the hospital room, she won't be able to explain it to her father.
"You need to take care of yourself."
He Yaonian was worried that Mingdai wouldn't eat properly, so he came over at noon to eat with her.
“Just tell your dad that the maid is a hired helper. Don’t try to pin the blame on Mo Tingchuan just for convenience.”
Mingdai couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"I wouldn't."

After the servant came over, Ming's father woke up once.

“A friend found me a helper. He’s very kind. He knows I’m not in good health and can’t do strenuous work. He’s just being considerate of me.”
Upon hearing this, Ming's father readily accepted.
Mo Tingchuan was not in the ward.
"Tingchuan went to work?"
Mingdai nodded without changing her expression, "Mm."
Ming's father was in poor spirits and had little appetite. He ate a little of the food the servant brought, sat for a while, and then lay down again.
Mingdai received a call from He Yaonian.
"Someone will come over and talk to you about the jewelry scammers later."
Mingdai was somewhat surprised when she saw this person.
This is an old acquaintance.
"Lin Yang, it's you."

Mingdai was happy for him.
