She immediately rushed to the hospital and stayed by his side.
Outside the operating room, Ning Nanxue was waiting anxiously.
Her heart was beating so hard it seemed like it was going to burst out of her chest.
She didn't dare to imagine what she would do if something happened to Shen Mozhen.
Finally, the lights in the operating room went out.
The doctor came out and Ning Nanxue hurried to meet him.
"Doctor, how is he?" she asked anxiously, her voice trembling violently.
"The patient is out of danger but still unconscious," the doctor said.
"We need to transfer him to the intensive care unit for further observation." Ning Nanxue breathed a sigh of relief, but her heart was still hanging.
She followed the doctor to the intensive care unit and looked at Shen Mozhen, who was unconscious on the bed, with her heart filled with guilt and self-blame.
Shen Mozhen's face was pale, and his lips were bloodless.
He looked extremely weak.
"Senior, you must wake up." Ning Nanxue held Shen Mozhen's hand and said softly.
"You can't get into trouble. You can't leave me alone."
Tears slid down Ning Nanxue's cheeks and dripped onto the back of Shen Mozhen's hand.
"It's all my fault. I've implicated you." Ning Nanxue said with a sob.
"If it weren't for me, you wouldn't be hurt."
She remembered that for revenge, she fought against Fu Chen desperately, but ignored the feelings of those around her.
She thought she could control everything, but she didn't expect that she would end up implicating Shen Mozhen.
"Why? Why do you always hurt the people around me?"
Ning Nanxue muttered to herself, her eyes filled with pain and anger.
She hated Fu Chen and Xu Zhiru. She hated why they were so cruel and why they hurt the people around her.
