Louis looked at Ning Nanxue, his eyes flashing with the shrewdness of an old fox under his thick gray eyebrows.
Ning Nanxue folded her hands on her knees, her posture elegant and calm.
"You can sign the contract directly with the Fu Group's board of directors. I will ensure the full support of the board for this project," she said softly but forcefully. "More importantly, if there is any breach of contract, Greenlight Technology can obtain a portion of Fu Group's equity in the Asian market as compensation."
These words caused a slight commotion in the conference room.
Jiang Tingchen handed over a draft contract at the right time. The paper slid between his fingers, revealing the key terms.
"The specific terms have been drafted, you can read them in detail." Jiang Tingchen added in a low and gentle voice.
Louis took the document, his finger lingering over the carefully crafted breach of contract clause.
His expression changed from suspicion to surprise, and finally to a barely perceptible admiration.
"A bold and wise clause, Ms. Ning." He sighed softly, "Few companies are willing to use their own equity as collateral."
Ning Nanxue leaned forward slightly, the scent of perfume wafting through the air. "Because few companies are as confident in this partnership as we are."
Over the next three hours, the atmosphere in the conference room gradually changed from tension to mutual trust.
Ning Nanxue spoke eloquently, weaving Fu's resources, market advantages and Greenlight Technology's technological innovations into a grand blueprint.
Jiang Tingchen displayed detailed data on the projection screen nearby. His explanation was precise and insightful. Behind every number lay the pulse of the market and future possibilities.
"Look at this data," Jiang Tingchen pointed to the growth curve of the Asian new energy market. "The growth rate reached 17% in the fourth quarter of last year, and Fu's channel coverage rate in these key regions exceeds 65%."
Louis raised his head, his eyes wandering between Ning Nanxue and Jiang Tingchen. He seemed to see more than just a business partnership, but also a pair of partners with perfect understanding.
"Impressive." Louis put down his notebook and leaned back in his chair. "You guys are more prepared than I expected."
Ning Nanxue felt the pulse of approaching victory, her heartbeat accelerated, but she remained calm on the surface.
"Mr. Louis, the business world is like a battlefield, and opportunities are fleeting." Ning Nanxue turned the last page and closed the document. "What we are presenting today is not only a cooperation plan, but also a revolution that will change the landscape of new energy in Asia."
Louis was silent for a moment, then stood up and stretched out his hand, which was full of traces of time.
"Ms. Ning, I'm impressed by your enthusiasm and wisdom." He nodded slightly, his tone gentle but firm. "I look forward to working with Fu Group. I will go to your city next month to sign the official contract."
Ning Nanxue shook hands with him, and the warmth of their palms blended together, as if foreshadowing the spark of future cooperation.
"Looking forward to seeing you again in our city, Mr. Louis."
After leaving the Greenlight Technology headquarters, Ning Nanxue and Jiang Tingchen walked side by side towards the black car parked on the side of the road.
The spring sunshine was warm but not glaring, casting long shadows on the two people.
"You're amazing, Xue'er." Jiang Tingchen whispered, his arm gently brushing her shoulders. "Louis is completely conquered by you."
Ning Nanxue's lips curled up, and her steps were as light as if she were walking on clouds. "We did this together. Without your data support, I wouldn't be able to convince Louis so much."
The car door opened, Ning Nanxue sat in the back seat, and Jiang Tingchen followed closely behind.
The scenery outside the car window slowly receded, revealing the panoramic view of France's lakes and mountains.
"Fu Chen will be surprised when we get back this time." Ning Nanxue leaned back into the soft chair, tapping her fingers lightly on her knees. "The cooperation with Greenlight Technology will cause Fu's stock price to soar."
Jiang Tingchen stroked the back of her hand, the warm touch conveying silent support. "Fu Chen must accept this cooperation, otherwise he will face questions from the board of directors."
On the way back to the hotel, Ning Nanxue could hardly contain her excitement and she called Secretary Chen.
"Arrange a board meeting immediately. I need to make all preparations before returning home." She spoke quickly, and the sound of pen tip rubbing against paper could be heard over the phone.
On the other end of the phone, Secretary Chen's voice sounded hesitant, and the noise of the office could be heard faintly in the background.
"Boss Ning, I'm afraid there might be some trouble." He lowered his voice, as if worried about being overheard. "Boss Fu just announced that there will be important personnel changes next week."
Ning Nanxue's fingers suddenly tightened, and her breathing hitched slightly. Jiang Tingchen noticed her change and leaned in to listen to the conversation.
"What personnel changes? What are the specific details?" Ning Nanxue's voice was as cold as ice, completely different from the joy she had just shown.
"We're still unclear about the details, but according to inside information, President Fu has privately contacted several directors." Secretary Chen's voice was filled with obvious concern. "It seems to be related to the Xu family."
Ning Nanxue hung up the phone, and the dark blue car window reflected her slightly pale profile.
"Fu Chen is going to fight back." She whispered, "He and Xu Zhao are taking action so quickly."
Jiang Tingchen held her in his arms. Ning Nanxue rested her head on his shoulder, and their fingers unconsciously twisted together.
"Don't worry, Louis's cooperation is our trump card." Jiang Tingchen's voice was like a beacon in the dark night. "Even if Fu Chen plays a power game, the board of directors will not refuse such a business opportunity."
Ning Nanxue took a deep breath. She could smell the faint scent of cologne on Jiang Tingchen, which was reassuring.
"We have to get back before Fu Chen." She said, her finger sliding across the phone screen, "Change your flight to tonight. We can't give them any chance."
Jiang Tingchen nodded. He called his assistant and briefly and forcefully arranged the schedule change. After hanging up, he turned to Ning Nanxue.
"It's arranged. We'll take off in four hours. Now, let's go back and pack."
Ning Nanxue and Jiang Tingchen's eyes met, and alertness spread in the air.
"What specific personnel changes are there?" Ning Nanxue asked, her fingers tightly gripping the phone.
Secretary Chen's voice came through the receiver, very low. "The specific details are still confidential, but there are rumors within the company that it is directly related to your position."
He paused for a moment before continuing, "What's even more troublesome is that Xu Zhiru has been frequently appearing at various important company events over the past two days. She...she introduced herself as the 'future Mrs. Fu' and has even participated in several key project meetings."
Jiang Tingchen looked at Ning Nanxue, gently held her wrist, and felt the accelerated rhythm of her pulse.
"She is quite ambitious." Ning Nanxue sneered, but her tone was calm as water. "Fu Chen made this move so quickly that he couldn't wait to give her the title."
"Mr. Ning, there's already some unrest within the board of directors. Several executive directors are asking for details about this change."
"Tell the board members," Ning Nanxue said in a steady and powerful voice, "I brought back a cooperative project worth hundreds of millions of dollars from France. Any plans of Fu Chen will be affected by this."
"Okay, President Ning." Secretary Chen's voice was a little excited. "I'll take care of it immediately."
